  • Based on the rapid development of information technology (IT) including networks, manufacturing environment faces more customer engagement, global collaboration, greater emphasis on agility, increasing reach and connectivity through world-wide web, and micro transaction tracking and intelligence to name a few. The new ideas of manufacturing concept, eManufacturing is discussed in view of IT. In specific, a framework to identify. IT application in the product realization process and collaboration and coordination to implement eManufacturing is proposed.

  • Advance in Internet technology has changed traditional production planning and control methods. In particular, collaborations between participants in supply chains are being increasingly addressed in industry for enhancing chain-wide productivity. A representative paradigm that emphasizes collaboration in production planning and control is CPFR(Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment). In this paper, we present a multi-agent system architecture that supports the collaborations specified in CPFR. The multi-agent system architecture consists of event manager, data view agent, business rule agent, and collaboration agent. The collaboration agent systematically controls negotiation between supplier and buyer with the aid of collaboration protocol and blackboard. The multi-agent system has been implemented with EJB(Enterprise Java Beans).

공급사슬 통합을 위한 웹기반 물류관리 의사결정지원 시스템 (A Web-based DSS for Logistics of Supply Chain Integration)

  • This Paper deals with a collaborative decision making procedure of web-based DSS for supply chain management (SCM). The seemingly autonomous DSS dedicated to each of mutually exclusive prob1em domains forms a communication network and cooperates each other for better SCM decision making. We a1so propose a hub-spoke information sharing model for the DSS network. In the hub-spoke model, an information hub at the center facilitates information exchange between DSS\\`s and controls the conversations defined by the series of XML messages between agents of DSS. A product ordering scenario where supply decision is triggered upon customer order is used to demonstrate the SCM decision procedure through a collaboration of the web-based DSS.

  • The company was focusing on production which was partial mission rather than acquiring the information of customer in intensive process industry. The company accepted loss which is from over-production, losing of opportunity. After changing to web environment, supply chain is more complicated and need of customer is more various. As a result the company hard works on controlling production rates, production quantities in production area and gathering exact information which is about available resource and available quantities. Cooperated demand planning have to get decreasing of inventory, improving of customer service in supply chain management. Specially demand planning that considers allocation of capacity is executed in Iron-Industry. Demand planning must be classified by customer, region and supply position level.

DEA를 이용한 모기업과 협력기업의 공급망 품질경영 효율성 분석 (Analysis of the SCQM Efficiency of a Parent Company and Its Partner Companies Using DEA)

  • With the recent introduction of supply chain management (SCM), quality management has extended from within companies to between companies. As a result, supply chain quality management (SCQM) has received increased attention. However, existing SCQM studies only focus on what impact quality control in supply chains have on company performance while virtually no studies examine quality control efficiencies. This paper, therefore, evaluated the SCQM efficiency of a parent company and its partner companies by using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) based on the Quality Collaboration Index for Supply Chain Management (QCI-SCM) conducted by the Korean Standards Association for its 'Quality Innovation-Based Building and Expansion of Business.' Study results showed that a parent company and its partners showed an overall average efficiency of approximately 80% (parent company 80.37%, partner company 79.05%). By also performing a discriminant analysis based on the calculated efficiency scores using DEA, factors that made companies efficient or inefficient were different between the two groups. In parent companies, efficiency and inefficiency were determined by factors such as communication, infra-structure, support, delivery of quality, and benefit sharing, whereas in partner companies, talent development, infrastructure, crisis management, and delivery of quality were the determining factors. In this paper, we examined the efficiency of SCQM and analyzed them from the perspective of both the parent company and partner companies to offer strategic SCQM insights.

공급체인 통합과 친환경 활동이 환경성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the effect of SCM Integration and Green SCM practices to Environmental Performance)

  • 본 연구는 국내 기업들의 공급체인 통합 요인들과 환경성과에 관해 분석하였다. 기업들이 글로벌 지역으로 사업영역이 확장되면서 각국들은 제품에 대한 환경규제를 통하여 수출입을 제한하는 새로운 패러다임에 대비한 친환경 공급체인관리에 대한 연구를 하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 공급체인 통합, 친환경 활동, 환경성과와 같은 주요 요인들을 중점으로 본 연구의 목적인 전통적인 공급체인통합 요인들과 새로운 친환경활동 간의 관계를 규명하는 것으로 친환경적성과를 염두에 두고 있는 기업들에게 친환경성과 핵심요인을 도출하여 사업성과를 살펴보는데 있다. 표본은 88개 설문지를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째로 친환경 공급체인 활동에서 외부 친환경협력요인과 내부 친환경모니터링요인을 발견할 수 있었다. 둘째로 공급체인통합은 환경성과에 유의한 영향을 나타내는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째로 내부 친환경모니터링 요인은 환경성과에 유의한 영향을 나타내는 것으로 나타났으나 외부 친환경협력 요인은 환경성과에 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 높은 수준의 공급체인통합은 이룬 기업들은 높은 수준의 공급체인 전반에 걸친 환경성과를 기대할 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 특히, 연구 결과 우리 기업들은 친환경요인에 관한 주요요인에 관한 활동들을 준비하여 신 무역규제인 친환경 공급체인망 통합에 대한 준비가 필요하다는 것을 발견할 수 있었다.

  • Introduction of ICE(Integrated Collaboration Environment) has a great effect on corporate performance. In particular, it is expected that information sharing and collaboration among transaction partners will be an important factor which mediates ICE and its performance. Under such a background, this research intends to identify the influence of ICE by manufacturing industry on corporate performance through role of the parameter of information sharing and collaboration. The result of this research may be summed up as follows: ICE promotes information sharing and collaboration among enterprises, it accelerates integration of supply chain network among enterprises and cooperation. In particular, ICE has a great effect on information sharing. And information sharing has a direct effect on collaboration and performance. However, when we classify corporate performance into the "performance due to introduction", which is direct performance, and the "overall performance", which is indirect performance, the result of this research is as follows: information sharing has a great effect on the performance due to introduction, but does not have a meaningful effect on indirect performance. On the other hand, collaboration does not have any effect on the performance due to introduction, but has a meaningful effect on the overall performance, which is indirect performance. It is necessary to study and analyze additional this result in future.

  • 최근 기업들은 공급사슬 상에 있는 파트너들 간 실시간 정보 공유, 생산 스케줄 조정을 통해 급변하는 비즈니스 환경에 민첩하게 대처하기 위한 노력을 하고 있다. 이러한 협업적 SCM(supply chain management)에 있어, 최근의 웹서비스 기술로 인해 플렛폼 독립적으로 파트너들의 정보시스템에 유연하게 접근하는 정보 공유의 기술적 바탕은 마련되었다. 하지만 생산 스케줄, 주문 조정과 같은 파트너들 간의 협업을 조율할 수 있는 방법론은 미흡하다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 상태기반의 다자간 대화정책(conversation policy)과 이를 웹서비스 기술로 구현한 conversation support system 을 제시하여 파트너들 간의 합리적인 협업을 가능하도록 하였다.

2단계 VMI 공급사슬에서 통합 재고/차량경로 문제를 위한 유전알고리듬 해법 (A Genetic Algorithm for Integrated Inventory and Routing Problems in Two-echelon VMI Supply Chains)

  • Manufacturers, or vendors, and their customers continue to adopt vendor-managed inventory(VMI) program to improve supply chain performance through collaboration achieved by consolidating replenishment responsibility upstream with vendors. In this paper, we construct a mixed integer linear programming model and propose a genetic algorithm for the integrated inventory and routing problems with lost sales maximizing the total profit in the VMI supply chains which comprise of a single manufacturer and multi-retailer. The proposed GA is compared with the mathematical model on the various sized test problems with respect to the solution quality and computation time. As a result, the GA demonstrates the capability of reaching solutions that are very close to those obtained by the mathematical model for small problems and stay within 3.2% from those obtained by the mathematical model for larger problems, with a much shorter computation time. Finally, we investigate the effects of the cost and operation variables on the total profit of the problem as well as the GA performance through the sensitivity analyses.

공급자와 구매자간 협력과 공급자 성과에 관한 탐색적 연구 : 공급자의 성과에 대한 협력의 매개효과를 중심으로 (An Exploratory Study of the Collaboration and Supplier Performance between Supplier and Buyer)

  • In this study, we conduct an empirical study to investigate the impact of the interdependence and trust between supplier and buyer on both their collaboration and supplier performance in automobile industry supply chain. The result shows that there is a positive relationship between the supplier's dependence and trust on the buyer and their collaboration. Moreover, it shows that supplier's dependence and trust on the buyer affects supplier performance through collaboration as a mediating effect. Therefore it is very important to notice that supplier and buyer in automobile industry should try to have a good collaborative relationship together in order to improve supplier performance.
