증기조건 향상에 따른 증기터빈 기술동향

  • For many years, T/G Supplier has constructed a number of thermal power plants and researched to improve the performance and the reliability of steam turbine, which are achieved by advances in design and materials technology. In recent, interest is renewed in advance steam condition as means of improving economy of thermal power plant and reducing environmental pollution. Improvements in the maximum power have been driven by the development of advanced rotor and bucket material and longer last stage bucket. Improvements in efficiency have been brought through advance in mechanical efficiency and thermodynamic efficiency. This paper describes a number of new steam path design features introduced to the steam turbine product. And also this paper describes new design technologies' development, new technologies' trend and technologies' development for ultra-super critical steam turbine.

건물에너지효율등급 적용에 따른 초단열 슈퍼윈도우 열성능 평가 (A study on the Insulation Performance of the SuperWindow considering the Evaluation of Building Energy Rating)

  • Generally, the building's windows and ventilation for the purpose of mining and the vista and windows by emotional engineering design area is a growing trend.In addition, the building regulation U-value limitation of window is $3.3W/m^2{\cdot}K$ in southern regions, while U-value limitation of wall is $0.35{\sim}0.58W/m^2{\cdot}K$. It means that the energy loss through windows is six times more than it through wall. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the environmental performance of the super window system by verification experiment. The results of this study are as follows; 1) The insulation performance of super window system is $1.44\;W/m^2^{\circ}C$ 2) Super Window compared to a normal window reduce heating energy requirements have been 5.3% 3) Compared to a normal window, Super window savings rate was 4.1% lower 4) Building energy efficiency rating was up to 1 rating from 2 rating.

  • In accordance with global energy conservation policies such as MEPS(Minimum Energy Performance Standard), electric motor industry is moving to super-high-efficiency machines and research to develop IE4 (International Energy Efficiency Class4) motors has been launched. In this situation, SynRM (Synchronous Reluctance Motor) has been attracting attention in place of induction motor which hardly provides super premium efficiency. As a result, much research on SynRM is being performed at home and abroad. Also, some products have already been appearing in the market. Compared to induction motor, SynRM has better efficiency per unit area and wider operating range. Although the utilization of control system in synchronous motor results in higher prices, we still need to concentrate on developments of SynRM so as to comply with the new policies. This study demonstrated the electromagnetic design methods of super-premium SynRM while maintaining the frame of existing IE3 induction motor for blower. We documented the design procedures for generating high saliency which is the most essential and mechanical stress analysis is also treated. In conclusion, we proved the validity of our design by manufacturing and testing our SynRM models.

  • Recently, owing to efficiency of the concrete work and the rationalization of construction structures, concrete is required to be super high strength. Furthermore, it is take a growing interest in execution and manufacture for super high strength concrete. This study is to investigate and analyze the influenced of flyash affecting on workability and engineering properties of super high strength concrete. In this experiment, the 28day's compressive strength of concrete using 15mm size of aggregate and flyash is over 800㎏/㎠ in the 20°/wt of water∼cement ratio. And the concrete using flyash have higher tensile strength than plain concrete.

According to the flow of energy is lost from the building, will be achieved through the walls and roof and windows. Among these, the window through the loss of about 45% of the entire building is big enough to rate. In addition, the building regulation U-value Limitation of window is $3.3W/m^2$ K in southern regions, while U-value Limitation of wall is $0.35{\sim}0.58W/m^2$ K. It means that the energy loss through windows is six times more than it through wall. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the environmental performance of the super window system by verification experiment. The results of this study are as follows; 1)Thermal performance of insulated Super Window measured as $1.44W/m^2$ $^{\circ}C$ 2)Required energy for heating was cut down about 5.3% from 266.99 $MJ/m^2$ yr to 252.85 $MJ/m^2$ yr 3)Super Window's reduction rates increased 4.1% from 31.48% to 35.58% when it is compared to normal windows. 4)Building energy efficiency rating elevated from 2nd rating to 1st rating.

초고층 주상복합 아파트의 에너지 소비특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of Energy Consumption in the Super High-rise Mixed-use Housing)

  • Recently, by the increase of demand on Super High-rise mixed-use housing and it's advanced quality, the interest on it has been raised socially. In accordance with it, the matter of resident's health and energy efficiency has been controversial in terms of living in super high-rise housing. This study started from the idea that it is necessary to have an objective data which that has many residents in narrow space with high density. The purpose of this study are as follows; Firstly, with the quantitative data analysis on energy, it will confirm the objective information on the unclear negative idea of super high-rise mixed-use housing. Secondly, it will establish the fundamental data on the energy of super high-rise mixed-use housing by examining the characteristic of energy consumption of the complex which was built more than 5 years ago. There are 4 methods of this study. Firstly, it follows the steps of theoretical view, and defines concept to study on the characteristic of super high-rise mixed-use housing. Secondly, referring to the previous study, it provides better understanding on th stream of this research and the limit as well to guide the direction in terms of energy consumption. Thirdly, it evaluates the characteristic of monthly consumption by researching the use of electricity energy and heating energy of super high-rise mixed-use housing. The major conclusions of this study are as follows; Firstly, the heating use of apartment complex is same, which is not influenced by the type of the building. Secondly, the electricity use of super high-rise mixed-use housing is from 1,2 to 1.5 as high as the normal apartment.

Measurement and Comparison of Wi-Fi and Super Wi-Fi Indoor Propagation Characteristics in a Multi-Floored Building

  • Super Wi-Fi is a Wi-Fi-like service exploiting TV white space (WS) which is expected to achieve larger coverage than today's Wi-Fi thanks to its superior propagation characteristics. Super Wi-Fi has been materialized as an international standard, IEEE 802.11af, targeting indoor and outdoor applications, and is undergoing worldwide field tests. This paper demonstrates the true potential of indoor Super Wi-Fi, by experimentally comparing the signal propagation characteristics of Super Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi in the same indoor environment. Specifically, we measured the wall and floor attenuation factors and the path-loss distribution at 770MHz, 2.401 GHz, and 5.540 GHz, and predicted the downlink capacity of Wi-Fi and Super Wi-Fi. The experimental results have revealed that TVWS signals can penetrate up to two floors above and below, whereas Wi-Fi signals experience significant path loss even through a single floor. It has been also shown that Super Wi-Fi mitigates shaded regions of Wi-Fi by providing almost-homogeneous data rates within its coverage, performs comparable to Wi-Fi utilizing less bandwidth, and always achieves better spectral efficiency than Wi-Fi. The observed phenomena imply that Super Wi-Fi is suitable for indoor applications and has the potential of extending horizontal and vertical coverage of today's Wi-Fi.

  • 파워 소자의 트레이드오프 현상을 최소화하기 위해 제시된 구조가 Super Junction 구조이다. Super Junction은 기존의 많이 사용하던 기본 구조 대비 1/5 정도의 낮은 온 저항(Ron) 특성을 가질 수 있다. Super Junction 구조의 공정 방법으로 Multi-Epi 공정과 Deep-Trench 공정 방법이 있다. Deep-Trench 공정은 실리콘 기판 상면에 깊은 트렌치 공정을 통하여 그안에 불순물이 도핑 되어 있는 폴리실리콘을 매립하여 P-Pillar를 형성 시키는 공정 방법이라 매립하는 과정에서 결함이 형성되기 쉬워서 비교적 어려운 제조 방법으로 알려져 있다. 하지만 비교적 Deep-Trench 공정으로 만들어진 구조가 낮은 온저항과 높은 항복 전압을 형성하여 좋은 효율을 보인다. 본 논문에서는 공정상의 새로운 방법을 제시하고, Charge Balance 이론을 접목시킨 구조를 설계하였다.

디젤기관의 아트킨슨 사이클화에 따른 제반성능의 열역학적 해석 (A Thermodynamic Analysis on the Performance with turning Diesel Cycle into Diesel-Atkinson Cycle)

  • In order to recognize thermal efficiency and power improvement in case that diesel cycle is turned into diesel-atkinson cycle, the fuel-air diesel-atkinson cycle considered gas exchange process is analyzed non-dimensionally and thermodynamically. As a result, in case of diesel-atkinson cycle, as expansion ratio is increased, thermal efficiency and mean effective pressure is increased and it has maximum value at Rec=1. When diesel cycle is turned into diesel-atkinson cycle by late intake valve closing timing, thermal efficiency and power is decreased because of the decline of effective compression ratio and intake airflow, but it could be compensated by increase of compression ratio or super-charged. In case compression ratio is compensated, Rec appears 1 around 100$^{\circ}$ ABDC, and it is expected that thermal efficiency is enhanced by 14.3% compared with conventional diesel cycle. In case compression ratio and intake airflow are compensated simultaneously, super-charged pressure is demanded 2.06bar at Rec=1 and it is more efficient when only compression ratio is compensated in the view point of thermal efficiency.
