In this paper, ADC with multi SHA structure is proposed for high speed operation. The proposed structure incorporates a multi SHA block that consists of multiple SHAs of identical characteristics in parallel to improve the conversion speed. The designed multi SHA is operated by non-overlapping clocks and the sampling speed can be improved by increasing the number of multiplexed SHAs. Pipelined A/D converter, applying the proposed structure, is designed to satisfy requirement of analog front-end of VDSL modem. The measured INL and DNL of designed A/D converter are $0.52LSB{\sim}-0.50LSB$ and $0.80LSB{\sim}-0.76LSB$, respectively. It satisfies the design specifications for VDSL modems. The simulated SNR is about 66dB which corresponds to a 10.7 bit resolution. The power consumption is 24.32mW.
Most of targeted therapies block the action of certain enzymes, proteins, or other molecules involved in the growth and spread of cancer cells to produce its cytotoxic effect. Either small molecule drugs or monoclonal antibodies are mostly used in targeted therapies. Unfortunately, targeted therapy has a certain degree of unwanted side effect like other cytotoxicity inducing chemotherapies. To overcome and to reduce unwanted side effects during a cancer therapy, recently radiopeptide therapies has got the worlds' attraction for the tumor targeting modalities due to its beneficial effect on less side effect compared to cytotoxic chemotherapies. Among radiopeptide therapies, $^{177}Lu$-DOTATATE is a major modality as an effective one invented so far in treating neuroendocrine tumor (NET) and it has been in clinical trials at least one decade. Although it does have rather effective therapeutic effect on NET, it has less effective in rather large solid tumor. There are many ways to improve or increase therapeutic effect of radiopeptide are a finding the potent small molecules to target the tumor site selectively, or a labeling with radioisotope of emitting high energy, or an improving its biological half-life by introducing different moieties to increase lipophilicity. Present study was focus to increase a biological half-life of radio somatostatin which will target the somatostatin receptor by altering the bifunctional chelator (BFCA) by introducing lipophilic moiety to the somatostatin, which would make the labeled peptide stay longer in the tumor site and thus it can intensify the therapeutic effect on tumor cell itself and around tissues.
Background: The aim of this study was to clarify the topographical relationships between the dorsal scapular nerve (DSN) and the dorsal scapular artery (DSA) in the interscapular region to identify safe and convenient injection points related to DSN blockade. Methods: Thirty shoulders of embalmed Korean cadavers and 50 live subjects were used for dissection and ultrasound (US) analysis. Results: The running patterns of the DSA and DSN in the interscapular region were classified into 3 types. Type I was defined as nerves that were medial to the artery and parallel without changing location (80.0% of specimens). In type II (13.3%), the nerve and artery traversed one another only one time over their entire length. In type III (6.7%), the nerve and artery traversed one another, resembling a twist. Above the level of the scapular spine, the nerve was always medial to the artery. Below the scapular spine, the number of arteries was obviously decreased. Most of the arteries were lateral to the medial border of the scapula, except at the level of the superior angle of the scapula artery (SA). The positional tendency of the DSN toward the medial or lateral sides from the medial border of the scapula was similar. In US imaging of live subjects, the DSA was most observed at the level of the SA (94.0%). Conclusions: Results of this study enhance the current knowledge regarding the pathway of the DSN and DSA and provide helpful information for selective diagnostic nerve blocks in the interscapular region.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of a virtual upper extremity training program using the RAPAEL Smart Glove on upper extremity function in stroke survivors with chronic hemiparesis and to focus the training program development using the Smart Glove as a feasibility study. Methods: This study was conducted using a single group and pre-post test research design in the outpatient departments of local rehabilitation units. Ten chronic hemiparetic stroke survivors with a diagnosis of first stroke received therapeutic rehabilitation at the rehabilitation units. All the participants used a virtual reality program with the RAPAEL Smart Glove for 30 minutes per session 3 days a week over 8 weeks. They also received conventional occupational therapy with functional electrical stimulation for 40 minutes per session 3 days a week for 8 weeks as an additional therapy. To analyze the effects of this therapeutic intervention, four clinical measures, including the box-block test (BBT), the Wolf motor function test (WMFT), the trail-making score, the Jebsen Taylor hand function test (JTHFT), and grip strength, were used. Results: Upon completion of the intervention in week 8, all the participants demonstrated significant WMFT, JTT, BBT, grip strength, and trail-making score gains compared to the respective baselines at week 0. Conclusion: This study suggests that virtual upper extremity training using the RAPAEL Smart Glove has a reasonable and beneficial effects on upper extremity function in chronic hemiparetic stroke survivors.

Background: High temperature damage in ginseng is influenced by shading materials related not only to temperature, but also to light intensity and light quality. To address, this green-colored khaki shading sheet is widely used. As they are recently, developed, there is limited research information about their attributes and use. Methods and Results: The four-layered shading net (FLSN), blue-colored shading sheet (BCSS), aluminum-coated shading board (ACSB), and green-colored shading sheet (GCSS) were installed in the wooden A type of sun-block facilities. Two layered black, shading net was additionally used to cover the facilities since the beginning of June. The average temperature at the facility where different shades were tested was in the order of BCSS ($28.9^{\circ}C$) > FLSN ($27.7^{\circ}C$) > GCSS ($27.6^{\circ}C$) > ACSB ($27.1^{\circ}C$). However, high temperature injury rates were in order: FLSN > ACSB > GCSS > BCSS. Root weight vaired and was in the order: ACSB > GCSS > BCSS > FLSN. Conclusions: High temperature damage is possible not only because of temperature increase, but also due to various environmental light factors. Ginseng high temperature injury was minimal when BCSS or GCSS were used by difference of light quality. Although the root weight was higher in ACSB, it could be vulnerable to high temperature damage. Therefore, we propose using GCSS for ginseng shading.

This research investigated the needs analysis on consumers of fine dust masks to effectively develop a design prototype. Data were collected through focus group interviews on 32 individuals who have used fine dust masks. As a result, there is a new demand by consumers for technology based design changes that better fit the nose and face. Consumers preferred the smell and feel of traditional Korean paper. Young adults expressed the importance of masks that can be used for protection as well as fashion. The prototype improved the drawbacks of existing models using an origami-inspired design in a variety of colors, patterns and in sizes that are customized to fit the wearer. The proposed prototype is made of Dak felt fibers and jersey materials. It is characterized by downward-facing ear bands made of polyurethane to improve the fit around the ears and chin to more effectively block incoming air. The mask is foldable and has a crease that goes along the chin to increase the amount of enclosed space against the face making it easier to breathe compared to existing mask designs.
BACKGROUND: It is a very important task to block distribution of the agricultural products contaminated with pesticides in advance to protect consumers from residual pesticides among the agricultural products. Therefore, this study was performed to determine residual characteristics of pesticides in time-dependent manner and present scientific evidences for pre-harvest residue limit (PHRL) setting. METHODS AND RESULTS: The tested pesticides, chromafenozide and pyridalyl were sprayed onto the kale twice (seven day intervals) and then the plant samples were collected at 0 (after 3 hours), 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, and 10 days after the last spraying. Residual concentration of chromafenozide in kale decreased with 74.9% (of decreased fraction, field 1) and 85.3% (field 2) and pyridalyl decreased with 81.2% (field 1) and 85.8% (field 2), calculated by comparisons of the concentrations at 0 day and 10 days. Also biological half-lives of chromafenozide in kale were 5.6 day (field 1) and 3.4 day (field 2), and those of pyridalyl were 4.3 day (field 1) and 3.5 day (field 2). CONCLUSION(S): If the residues of chromafenozide and pyridalyl in kale from 10 days before harvest are less than 37.6 mg/kg and 58.9 mg/kg, respectively, it is expected that safe kale below MRL can be supplied on the pre-harvest day.

Agrivoltaic facility is the composite system that the solar panel is installed above the farmland, and it enables crop and electricity production simultaneously. Solar panels of the agrivoltaic facilities can block and reduce the amount of solar irradiance arriving at the farmland, but it can help the crop growth by preventing excessive solar irradiance. Therefore, to clarify how the agrivoltaic facilities affect the crop growth, precise solar irradiance distribution under the solar panel should be modeled. In this study, PAR (photosynthetically active radiation), radiation from 400 to 700 nm, which crops usually use to grow, was extracted from the total irradiance and its distribution model under various conditions was developed. Monthly irradiance distributions varied because the elevation of the sun was changed over time, which made the position changed that the local maximum and minimum irradiance appear. The higher panel height did not cause any significant difference in the amount of irradiance reaching below the solar panel, but its distribution became more uniform. Furthermore, the panel angles with the most irradiance arriving below the solar panel were different by month, but its difference was up to 2%p between the irradiance with 30° angle which is usually recommended in Korea. Finally, the interval between panels was adjusted; when the ratio of the length of the panel to the empty space was 1:2, the irradiance of 0.719 times was reached compared to when there was no panel, 0.579 times for 1:1 and 0.442 times for 2:1.

High-entropy alloys (HEAs) are attracting attention because of their excellent properties and functions; however, they are relatively expensive compared with commercial alloys. Therefore, various efforts have been made to reduce the cost of raw materials. In this study, MIM is attempted using coarse equiatomic CoCrFeMnNi HEA powders. The mixing ratio (powder:binder) for HEA feedstock preparation is explored using torque rheometer. The block-shaped green parts are fabricated through a metal injection molding process using feedstock. The thermal debinding conditions are explored by thermogravimetric analysis, and solvent and thermal debinding are performed. It is densified under various sintering conditions considering the melting point of the HEA. The final product, which contains a small amount of non-FCC phase, is manufactured at a sintering temperature of 1250℃.
The development of cloud services and IoT technology has radically changed the cloud environment, and has evolved into a new concept called fog computing and F2C (fog-to-cloud). However, as heterogeneous cloud/fog layers are integrated, problems of access control and security management for end users and edge devices may occur. In this paper, an F2C-based IoT smart health monitoring system architecture was designed to operate a medical information service that can quickly respond to medical emergencies. In addition, a role-based service access control technology was proposed to enhance the security of user's personal health information and sensor information during service interoperability. Through simulation, it was shown that role-based access control is achieved by sharing role registration and user role token issuance information through blockchain. End users can receive services from the device with the fastest response time, and by performing service access control according to roles, direct access to data can be minimized and security for personal information can be enhanced.
