Purpose: This study investigates success factors of ENEX which is a leading company in the kitchen furniture industry in South Korea, based on the perspective of customer satisfaction and corporate social responsibility. ENEX has grown to a successful mid-sized firm with competitive technology as a result of pursuing customer-oriented management since its establishment in 1971. Methods: Recognizing the importance of customer satisfaction, this study analyzed several cases of customer-oriented management of ENEX and interpreted their findings. Results: The successful embedment of customer satisfaction DNA in the whole organization is a major success factor of ENEX. It has been applying 7 WISE policy to all business processes from the product development to after-service to create customer value. Also, top management has fully exercised leadership to make customer-oriented organization, leading to ENEX being a competitive firm to provide products and services which can impress customers. Conclusions: ENEX has conducted various social activities based on corporate social responsibility. This study would also provide meaningful insights to understand the importance of customer-oriented management.

Composite skull defects in patients with severe head injuries are very challenging to manage. The dilemma when deciding whether to perform a definitive reconstruction is how long to wait for physiological recovery before an intervention complicates the situation. The inability of such patients to tolerate prolonged anesthetic exposure is a driving factor for performing the minimal intervention necessary to facilitate recovery. Herein, we present a case involving the successful immediate reconstructive treatment of a severely head-injured adolescent with a composite scalp defect secondary to trauma. A 14-year-old boy sustained a severe head injury from a motor vehicle accident with a composite scalp defect in the right fronto-parietal region. The frontal lobe was exposed, and the right eye was crushed and devitalized. The patient was deeply unconscious for 3 days, without any significant improvements before reconstructive surgery was proposed due to fear of possible meningitis resulting from the exposure of brain structures. We successfully managed the patient with a fronto-parieto-occipital flap, after which the patient promptly recovered consciousness.

The key conditions for the promotion of innovative technology-based start-ups are expanding the market for innovative technology products and services, increasing equity-based funding opportunities, promoting the commercialization of technological innovation, and establishing a fair-trade system for start-ups to compete fairly in the market. Besides, there is a need for a support system that minimizes the cost of failure in case of business failure to facilitate re-challenge and provides education and training opportunities to enhance entrepreneurial capabilities. To activate technology-based start-ups, the Korean government introduced the TIPS policy in 2013. It is a program that creates technology start-up with private investment led by successful venture entrepreneurs, which has shown remarkable achievement and is regarded as the most successful policy in this field up to now. The most critical factor contributed to the success of this program is to invite private investors to select a technology entrepreneurship team and provide mentoring with the investment. The government provides R&D funding with matching investment, commercialization and marketing support to ensure that technology start-ups survive crossing the death-valley. Subsequent investments from domestic and abroad investors are actively made and it is becoming a representative technology-based start-up program in Korea.

according to rapid development in current industrial technologies, technology alone is no longer the only competitive factor among the manufacture companies. The value of innovation in product design has increased important attention to more consumers. This paper demonstrates the methodology of design strategy through the case studies of successful washing machine manufacturers on the China's Market. By the so called 4PS comparison of Haier washing machines with those of Siemens and Little Swan, this paper shows the difference of Haier's design strategy with other competitors, and offers a methodology of systematically analyzing strategic design and successfully develops a framework of design strategy.

A polymer-based multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) field emission device was fabricated from a composite dispersion of MWCNTs and waterborne polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). The waterborne PMMA synthesized through the emulsion polymerization method was added to minimize the reagglomeration of dispersed MWCNTs with surfactants in water, and increase the adhesion between the and the substrate. The field emission properties of the fabricated device were optimized by adjusting the density of the emitter and the adhesion between the MWCNTs and the substrate. These were done by controlling the polymer concentration added to the MWCNT dispersion, as well as the amount of spray coating on the substrate. The results confirm the successful fabrication of a polymer-based MWCNT field emission device with a low field of 1.07 $V/{\mu}m$ and a good electric field enhancement factor of 2445. The device was fabricated by adding 0.8 mg/mL of polymer solution to the MWCNT dispersion and applying 20 cycles of spray coating. Application of this same MWCNT/polymer composite solution to a flexible polymer substrate also resulted in the successful fabrication of an electric field emission device with uniform emission and long time stability.

In this study I divided the development history of educational serious games into three periods. from 1995 to 2020 in Korea. I drew out some characteristics of each period. And I analyzed the correlation between the level of technology and learning effects or fun. so I found out some results. According to my analysis, the level of technology and learning effects and fun are not related to successful factors. While play style which is familiar and accessible to students like casual game has been commercially successful. It also confirmed that well-balanced games between fun and learning effects are a key factor in commercial success.

In this paper, we performed research about the successful and unsuccessful factors for college math education. In addition, on the basis of the results from the comparative study on the Korean/foreign students' attitude toward the role of computers in math study, we tried to find out the ways to reflect the results on college math education. As the ways to improve college math education we propose that the professors should emphasize the significance of math and explain the successful and unsuccessful factors for math learning during the initial period of each semester. Furthermore, the professors should recognize the importance of computers in math study and ask for the university authority's support to provide necessary softwares and establish computer labs.

A virtual team consists of various members with a range of professional skills. An IT virtual team can confer such advantages as improving creativity and solving problems in e-business. However, virtual teams are less cohesive than off-line based teams, at least partly because they do not meet face-to-face to solve problems. If the cohesion of the members in a team is weak, overall performance can decrease. Therefore, this study seeks to understand the specific types of leadership needed to increase the cohesiveness of the members in a virtual team. Leadership is the most important factor for the successful operation of a virtual team. Leaders engage members with goals, and motivate them by creating positive relationships. This study describes the idealized influence of transformational leadership in which a leader directly engages members in a goal, and the role of participative goal setting in which members set their own goals. In addition, this research demonstrates the benefits of a positive attitude of a leader towards their team members and the influence of leader-member exchanges. If the cohesion of virtual teams is improved through specific leadership, the team members will be more committed to their teams and work, and the team's performance will improve. Furthermore, the successful operation of virtual teams will provide an opportunity for companies in e-business to gain a competitive advantage in the contemporary environment, where creativity is important.

Objectives: The aim of this study is to seek an effective way to support smoking cessation by analyzing any change to the pattern of nicotine dependence according to the change in time. Methods: The study was conducted with 800 male smokers who had participated in smoking cessation programs at public health centers from July 16, 2005 to July 15, 2008. Latent growth curve modeling approach was used for data analysis. Results: From the developmental trajectory of individual nicotine dependence, while nicotine dependence of smokers with high nicotine dependence in the first year was slightly decreased in the third year, smokers with low nicotine dependence in the year showed dramatically lower nicotine dependence in the third year. Compared with those who did not successfully quit smoking, the initial value of nicotine dependence of those who successfully quit smoking in the first and the second year was low. Over the years, nicotine dependence was decreased. Conclusion: From this study it was demonstrated that nicotine dependence was reduced through the practice of smoking cessation and reduced nicotine dependence was a factor which affects successful smoking cessation. These results indicate that multiple attempts to quit smoking finally reduces nicotine dependence. Reduced nicotine dependence is likely to increase the possibility of successful smoking cessation.

Changes in the business environment and increased competitiveness have led many companies to consider Business Process Reengineering(BPR) as a means to improve performance. However, while some BPR projects have been successful among the many companies that have performed BPR, most of the reengineering efforts have been deemed unsuccessful as the project failed. There are many answers to this, but the most important point is that the effective linkage between process innovation and information system construction is insufficient. Even if the reform of consciousness is carried out through the promotion of management innovation activities such as BPR, and the process is improved, management infrastructure can not be continuously maintained if infrastructure, especially information system, is not built up to support it. In this paper, we propose BPR and information system combining methodology for successful BPR execution and information system construction, and describe the result of BPR consulting performance when constructing information system and compare the improvement of failure risk factor. In addition, we present the case through the case of K company, and finally present customer satisfaction through post evaluation after completion of K company information system construction project implementation.
