Quality control and safety represent increasingly important concerns for project managers. In the worst case, failures may cause personal injuries or fatalities. Accidents during the construction process can similarly result in personal injuries and large costs. We present the results of a study designed to identify the tools that are most widely used and those that are associated with successful project management in general, and with effective project risk management in particular. The study is based on a questionnaire administered to a sample of project managers from construction enterprises. The response data was analyzed in order to find which tools are more likely to be used in the those organizations that report better project management performance and in those that value the contribution of risk management processes.

It is commonly recognized to need performance management for successful construction project. PPC measurement of Last Planner System is one of construction project measurement method. PPC measurement is quantitatively assessment to go through construction, and that is not completely to be trusted when compare a project with another or an individual case work with another in same project. According to, purpose of this study is comparison indicator establishment that compare project with another or an individual case work with another it is not use PPC measurement for quantitatively assessment to go through construction. The procedure of this study is derive of the point at issue of existing PPC measurement for a aim PPC measurement in this study expenditure and select weight about that and it is applied to actually construction.

This paper presents the case study of the CE by collaborative system and proposes a model of the CM group for the cable supported bridge. The cable supported bridges have a large project scale and need a high level of construction method. Therefore an advanced construction management system is required for successful completion of project. The construction management (CM) group which control design management, construction plan, subcontract, technical support and R&D is organized for the cable supported bridge project. The CM group established a collaborative system with construction site and drew an effective management of cost, process, quality, safety for each project. Furthermore, the CM group established the procedure of construction management based on the construction engineering (CE) items and performed the project management on the construction phase. Efficiency of cost reduction and site control is maximized by using a collaborative system.

국내 중소기업에 있어서 21세기 이후 정보 기술(IT) 아웃소싱은 주요 비즈니스 사항으로 자리잡아왔다. 선행연구들은 성공적인 IT아웃소싱의 주요 요인으로서 주로 고객과 공급자 중 한쪽에 치우친 단일 관점에서 논의하여 왔다. 단일 관점은 대리이론에서 제기되는 바처럼 다른 한 쪽이 중요하게 다루는 위험가능성을 배제하는 논리가 된다. 본 연구는 quasi-Delphi방법론으로 고객과 공급자간의 위험에 대하여 잠재적으로 불일치될 수 있는 사항들을 파악하여 아웃소싱 효율성을 높일 수 있는 방안을 찾고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 불일치되는 위험사항은 첫째, 고객은 공급자의 프로젝트 몰입 부족을 그리고 잘못된 공급자선정기준과 프로세스로 나타났다. 두 번째 고객의 입장과는 달리 불분명한 요구사항 및 프로젝트활동에 대한 전문성 부족을 공급업자에게서 나타났다. 고객과 공급자가 프로젝트 위험관리를 협업적으로 인식하고 관리하는 방안에 대하여 결론을 제시한다.

본 연구는 최근 양적, 질적 위상이 높아지고 있는 콘텐츠 프로젝트에 대한 투자 후 관리 성공요인을 탐색적으로 밝힌다. 국내 콘텐츠산업의 프로젝트에서 투자에 대한 의존도는 크다. 이에 따라, 다른 산업과 달리 프로젝트 관리 차원에서 투자자의 역할과 기여도 크다. 본 연구는 국내 콘텐츠 투자에서 핵심적 기능을 하고 있는 벤처투자자들 15명을 대상으로, 그들의 성공 경험에 기초해 콘텐츠 투자 후 관리(프로젝트 관리) 성공요인이 무엇인지 도출한다. 이를 위해 연구 및 실무차원에서 대표적인 기존 10가지 프로젝트 관리영역을 콘텐츠 프로젝트에 맞도록 조작적으로 재정의하고 장르적, 산업적 대표성을 가지며 비교적 투자 영역이 활성화된 영화와 게임에 대한 관리영역별 성공요인을 질적인 방식으로 도출한다. 각 관리 영역별로 적게는 3가지에서 많게는 5가지까지 총 38개의 성공요인을 도출하였다. 연구의 이론적, 실무적 시사점과 연구가 갖는 일정의 한계를 감안하여 향후 연구 방향을 제시한다.

본 연구는 ICT 분야 중소기업을 대상으로 유일하게 융자금을 지원하고 있는 ICT 융자사업 수혜기업을 대상으로 정책융자금에 대한 전반적인 수요조사를 실시하였으며, 특정 수혜기업을 대상으로 융자지원 받은 기술개발과제의 연구배경 및 연구성과, 파급효과, 기대효과, 에피소드 등을 살펴봄으로써 융자금 지원이 실제적으로 얼마나 ICT 중소기업의 기술적 경제적 성과 제고에 도움을 주고 있는가를 보여주고 있다. 실제로 ICT 분야의 중소기업들은 더 많은 규모의 정책융자금을 요구하고 있으며, 안정적인 자금조달이 기술개발 성공의 핵심요인이자 가장 어려운 과제라는 응답결과를 보여주고 있다. 결과적으로, 기술경쟁력을 지닌 ICT 중소기업들의 기술개발 필요자금을 융자해 주고 나아가 개발된 기술을 사업화함으로써 영세한 기업재정의 건전성을 회복할 수 있는 자금지원 정책을 마련할 필요가 있음을 시사해 주고 있다.

This study finds out and suggests success factors for the application of RIMS project through the case study of Seoul Metro and literature survey. The successful application of RIMS needs expert knowledge and concept of BOM, standardization of maintenance planning, check lists of heavy maintenance inspection, organization structure of rolling stock maintenance offices, material management system of warehousing and the process of parts repairing between offices, connection of material ordering system, problem solving of circular spare parts administration among inspection, maintenance, and material organizational units, systemic serial number management of parts with RFID, daily closing diary connected with work process chart, and sufficient period of RIMS's test run. RIMS contributes to real time management of rolling stock maintenance, transparency of management, reliability of train operation, customer satisfaction, and management innovation.

Computer simulation is widely known as a very powerful and practical tool to understand behaviors of considered systems and evaluate design alternatives. However, to use simulation technologies, one should acquire simulation languages, statistics, etc. Also, lots of resources such as time and money are necessary to develop models and analyze statistical data. These obstacles prevent one from adopting simulation tools easily. This paper presents practical guidelines for successful application of simulation. Firstly, we propose how to acquire simulation tools to help one who is going to use simulation techniques. Next guidelines are for introducing simulation software set including simulation and support softwares. Lastly, guidelines for simulation project management are presented.

Construction projects are fraught with risks from cost or other overruns to accidents along with other issues. This is true whether the relevant organization is an owner, general contractor, CM, specialty-trade contractor, or other entity. When cost issues or other issues confront arise, how should an organization proceed whether attempting to gain additional compensation in terms of cost/other damages or protecting the same against such claims if they do not appear to be warranted? Enter construction cost forensics. This presentation will focus on strategies/techniques with construction cost forensics in these areas in order to be successful. Covered techniques include those to develop and analyze claims including fundamental construction cost analysis techniques. When an unexpected event disrupts a construction project, using sound analytical methods to identify the cause and quantify the extent of the issue will be important for negotiating a fair result or for obtaining a successful outcome in arbitration or litigation. Key examples of uncovering issues via construction cost forensics will be covered in this presentation.

최근 국가의 경쟁력 확보를 위하여 사회간접자본시설에 대한 투자가 급증하고 있으나, 민간투자사업은 정부의 재정부담 증가, 잘못된 수요 예측 등 여러 측면에서 많은 문제점을 드러내고 있으며, 이러한 문제점들은 결국 민간투자사업의 확대 및 성공적 추진에 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 이러한 환경 속에서 최근의 국내 건설업계는 제한된 공공부문의 턴키와 BTL 사업을 두고 매우 치열한 수주경쟁을 벌이므로써 건설업계의 경영난을 가중시키고 있다. 더욱이, 이러한 경쟁은 업체 간의 건설원가에 대한 가격 경쟁까지 야기시키므로서 BTL사업 시 기본적으로 고려해야 할 원가의 정확한 견적, 업체의 능력, 공기 등 사업의 성공여부를 판가름하는 기본적인 검토사항마저 무시되고 있는 형편이다. 이에 본 연구는 BTL사업의 핵심성공요인과 효율적인 운영방안을 제시함으로서 국내 건설기업이 BTL 사업 참여시 합리적인 전략을 수립하는데 기초적인 자료를 제공코자 한다.
