  • This study aimed to demonstrate the effect of feedback type on users' subjective responses in a voice user interface. Feedback type is classified depend on information characteristic it involves; verification feedback and elaboration feedback. Error type is categorized as recognition error and performance error. Users' subjective assessment about system, feedback acceptance, and intention to use were measured as dependent variables. The results of experiment showed that feedback type has impacts on the subjective assessment(likeability, habitability, system response accuracy) of VUI, feedback acceptance, and intention to use. the results also demonstrated an interaction effect of feedback type and error type on the feedback acceptance. It leads to the conclusion that VUI should be designed with the elaboration feedback about error situation.

  • This study applied the Theory of Reasoned Action by Fishbein & Ajzen(1975) as the grounded theory and adopt sanctions of the General Deterrent Theory and protection motivation of the Protection Motivation Theory as the antecedents to discuss the theoretical factors and the cases of application in the field of information security. Then, it adopted subjective norm, a variable of the Theory of Reasoned Action, as a parameter to analyze the causality of sanctions, perceived vulnerability, response cost, and self-efficacy with the intention to follow the information security policies. As a result, all of the antecedents except for sanctions had causality with the intention and subjective norm proved its mediating effect as a parameter between the antecedents and the intention.

  • In this paper, the vibration response characteristics of individual's subjective are studied to whole-body and hand-arm induced vibration. For defining limits of vibration exposure to human, experimental data are investigated in a set of vibration criteria specified in ISO Standard 2631. Instrumentation requirements for evaluation of the responses of humans to vibration according to these criteria are discribed.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between age, physical activity (walking, strength exercise), subjective body shape recognition, and weight change with subjective health status in the population aged 30 years or older among the data of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2018) of Koreans. The subject and method of this study was a secondary analysis study using the 7th 3rd year National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2018). Age, walking days per week, strength training days per week, subjective health status, subjective body shape recognition, and weight change during the year were used the SPSS (p<.01). The response rate of walking for 7 days (every day) was 21.9% for those aged 30-45, 27.2% for those aged 50-64, and 26.6% for those aged 65 or older. aged 8.4% and over 65 years old 7.9% (p<.001). The subjective health status was positively correlated with age (.091), number of walking days per week (.739), number of days of strength exercise per week (.530), subjective perception of body shape (.256), and weight change over one year (.303). There was a relationship (p<.01). In this study, the age group that answered 'bad' in subjective health status was the highest at 21.4% of those aged 65 or older, followed by 15.7% of those aged 50-64 and 11.0% of those aged 30-45. This could be expected to improve subjective health status by walking and strength training. Based on these results, it was intended to provide basic data for preparing health-related programs to improve subjective health status of individuals according to age.

  • This study was conducted to identify the major dietary patterns of Korean adult men and to examine the relationship between subjective stress perception and these dietary patterns using data from the 2014~2016 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES). Of the 23,080 total subjects, adult men between the ages of 19 and 64 who did not take the questionnaire or answer the questions relating to depression, and cases where the daily energy intake was less than 500 kcal or more than 5,000 kcal in the Food Frequency Questionnaire were excluded. This left a total of 3,464 subjects who were included in the final analysis. We performed a factor analysis based on the yearly mean intake frequency of 41 food groups to identify the major dietary patterns. Three major dietary patterns were identified (factor loading >0.3), including the 'Healthy pattern', 'Processed meat pattern', and the 'Alcohol pattern'. The 'Healthy pattern' was characterized by higher intake of beans, tofu, vegetable, fish, and fruits. The 'Processed meat pattern' was characterized by high consumption of processed meats and instant foods. The 'Alcohol pattern' was characterized by a higher intake of alcohol. As a response to the subject's subjective perception of stress, the most answered 'a little' according to age, marital status, occupation, income, residential area, smoking status, drinking status, and exercise status. People whose diets followed the 'Processed meat' and 'Alcohol' patterns had significantly higher scores on subjective stress perception compared to people following the 'Healthy pattern'. To manage subjective stress, it is more effective to maintain health by relieving stress through a healthy method that combines healthy eating and exercise rather than following an unhealthy diet as characterized by the 'processed meat' and 'alcohol' dietary patterns.

  • This study was conducted with the purpose of examining the effect of material deprivation on the subjective mental health of youth and the moderating effect of social support in these relationships. For this purpose, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and moderating effect model were analyzed using the response data of 2,041 youth who participated in the '2021 Youth Social and Economic Survey'. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that the material deprivation of youth negatively and significantly affects subjective mental health. Second, it was found that social support moderated the effect of material deprivation on the subjective mental health of youth. The results of this study show that in order to improve the subjective mental health level of youth, it is necessary to not only strengthen public policies and systems to prevent the situation of material deprivation of youth in advance, but also to strengthen the social support system by raising the level of social support.

  • Emotion in early childhood has been observed to make an important effect on behavioral development. The teacher has coached to develop good behavior based on considering emotional response rather than rational response. This study was to determine significance of emotional coaching for behavior development according emotion recognized by non-verbal measurement system developed specially in this study. The participants were 44 people and were asked to study in four experimental situation. The experiment was designed to four situation such as class without coaching, behavioral coaching, emotion coaching, and emotion coaching based on emotional recognition system. The dependent variables were subjective evaluation, behavioral amplitude, and HRC (Heart Rhythm Coherence) of heart response. The results showed the highest positive evaluation, behavioral amplitude, and HRC at emotion coaching based on emotional recognition system. In post-doc analysis, the subjective evaluation showed no difference between emotion coaching and system based emotion coaching. However, the behavioral amplitude and HRC showed a significant response between two coaching situation. In conclusion, quantitative data such as behavioral amplitude and HRC was expected to solve the ambiguity of subjective evaluation. The emotion coaching of teacher using emotional recognition system was can be to improve positive emotion and psychological stability for children.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference of the response to fashion ad and its effect between traditional ad and postmodern ad, to examine the difference of the response to fashion ad and its effects according to sensation seeking tendency, and to investigate the effect of the response to fashion ad on its effect. For the purposes of this study, two postmodern ads and one traditional ad were selected as stimuli and data were collected from 230 female college students. The results are as follows: 1) Postmodern advertisement was unique, impacting, hard-to-understand, sensory-stimulating, and fantastic, when compared to traditional advertising. 2) Consumers felt disgusted by confusion and shock coming from postmodern advertising, but at the same time, recognized its value as an advertisement and took more pleasure and fun from it. 3) Consumers with high sensation-seeking-tendency perceived postmodern ads more sensually and showed more positive response to the postmodern ads. 4) While subjective, emotional response affected the attitude toward advertisements, sensory-stimulating affected the attitude toward brand and purchase intention. Thus, cognitive response should also be considered significant to form brand equity in long term.
