Usually, the skin pigmentation detection and diagnosis are made by clinicians. In this process it is subjective and non-quantitative. We develop an approach to detect and measure the different pigmentation lesions base on computer vision technology. In the paper we study several usually used skin-detecting color space like HSV, YCbCr and normalized RGB. We compare their performance with illumination influence for detecting the pigmentation lesions better. Base on a relatively stable color space, we propose an approach which is RGB channels vector difference characteristic for the detection. After the object region detection, we also use the difference to measure the difference between the lesion and the surrounding normal skin. From the experiment results, our approach can effectively detect the pigmentation lesion, and perform robustness with different illumination.

Wear debris morphology is closely related to the wear mode and mechanism occured. Image recognition of wear debris is, therefore, a powerful tool in wear monitoring. But it has usually required expert's experience and the results could be too subjective. Development of automatic tools for wear debris recognition is needed to solve this problem. In this work, an algorithm for automatic wear debris recognition was suggested and implemented by PC base software. The presented method defined a characteristic 3-dimensional feature space where typical types of wear debris were separately located by the knowledge-based system and compared the similarity of object wear debris concerned. The 3-dimensional feature space was obtained from multiple feature vectors by using a multi-dimensional scaling technique. The results showed that the presented automatic wear debris recognition was satisfactory in many cases application.

The purpose of this study is the making of standard which is optimal region selection for the creation of the naturally favorable waterfront area. We surveyed data of twenty two site in Korea where are managed KARICO(Korea Rural Infrastructure Corporation). Three different evaluation methods, simple score give method, subjective evaluation method, and check-list method were used. We were divided into "the highest priority area in consolidation rank", "the priority area in consolidation rank", the other area in consolidation rank". Thus, the object areas for consolidation of environment friendly canals will be chosen as in an objective manner and they will be good use of the long-term plan for consolidation of environment friendly canals.

The purpose of this study is reserch the approch and basic principle which make it possible to establish the consistent and subjective direction on the proportion method of DAPO HAPGAK STYLE House in the traditional Korean architecture. The object of reseach which should be considered in dealing with traditional concept on proportion are as follows. What is the proportional method in the plane of the Korean traditional archtecture. In this study, it was intended to find out that, what was the basis of numerical system implied in the proportion system of Korean traditional architecture and whether there can be the absolute and ideal relatioship between proportion systmes or not.

Medications or cognitive-behavior methods have been mainly used as a treatment of alcoholism. lately the virtualy technology has been applied to the kink of alcoholic disorders. A virtual environment makes him having ability to over come the drink. In this study, we were implemented by making panorama images and 3D object modules using 3D Studio MAX. VRML, JAVA Applet. And the BAR stimulator that composed with a position sensor head mount display, and audio system, is suggested. To illustrate the physiological difference between a person who has a alcoholism and and without a liquor bottle, heart rate was measured during experiment, and also measured a Person's HR after the virtual reality training. we demonstrated the subjective effectiveness of virtual reality psychotherapy through the clinical experiment.

The object of this paper is to give an overview of one method of modeling and analysing situations involving inter-identification. Hypergame analysis is used as this approach. Hypergame analysis is one of what we call soft system approaches. In this paper, We first reformulate concept of the simple hypergame and define the hypergames with inter-identification as a system consisting of simple hypergames connected by the mutual identification. We propose a definition of solutions for them. Based on the formulation, We derives existence conditions of the solutions. We then apply the framework to a realistic problem. i. e, America-North korea conference problem to demonstrate the validity of the derived theoretical results as well as In obtain some suggestions to improve the problematic situation.

In consumer behavior, money and time have been considered as two important resources as purchase means. Money was treated as an important research variable, but time resource was neglected as an input variable due to lack of well-defined concept and complexity of its nature. Nontheless as industralization and urbanization progress, the importance of time has in- creased. The main objective of this study was to suggest framework of time and time research methodology in clothing and textiles field. This study reviewed both theoretical and empirical research which were performed in diverse research fields. It was suggested that time facotrs, (eg. point, interval, span), should be defined to each decision process as needed, and theoretical frame should be developed accordingly. Time pressure should be included in future for more reliable survey Finally, since clothing can be a personal object, the subjective feeling and environmental factors scold be considered in research.

The object of multiresponse optimization is to determine conditions on hte independent variables that lead to optimal or nearly optimal values of the response variables. Derringer and Suich (1980) extended Harrington's (1965) procedure by introducing more general transformations of the response into desirability functions. The core of the desirability a, pp.oach condenses a multivariate optimization into a univariate one. But because of the subjective nature of this a, pp.oach, inexperience on the part of the user in assessing a product's desirability value may lead to inaccurate results. To compensate for this defect, a weighted desirability function is introduced which takes into consideration the vriances of the responses.

A new cultivation diary system based on environment sensor data and Web 2.0 with Flex is suggested, to improve the previous system using the subjective data of cultivators. The proposed system is designed by applying an object-oriented model called mini-architecture, in order to enhance the reliability of software as well as promote stability to overall system design. The environment sensor data such as temperature and humidity are used to develop the new reliable diary. Also, an active interface based on Web 2.0 and Android as the user GUI are implemented to maximize the convenience while recording the cultivation diary. The result of the performance evaluation shows that the data from sensors has 99.1% of correlation with that of analogue.
