  • The purpose of this study is to provide and validate an IT cost model hi which we link among cost center, cost object and flexible cost driver. in order to accomplish this purpose, this study utilizes ethnographic research methodology. At first we develop the cost model where the flexible cost driver is the distribution basis of overhead cost. For each cost driver, unit cost management model is also proposed. Then we employ the structured design methodology to validate the model. Based on the IT Cost requirements of a case company, the IT cost system was designed and developed for its test. The result shows the model we developed in this study is appropriate for managing IT resources and further, can be used as a reference model for calculating chargeback rates of other departments and IT budget of IT department.

  • This study presents the process of the continuous-time system identification for unknown nonlinear systems. The Radial Basis Function(RBF) error filtering identification model is introduced at first. This identification scheme includes RBF network to approximate unknown function of nonlinear system which is structured by affine form. The neural network is trained by the adaptive law based on Lyapunov synthesis method. The identification scheme is applied to engine and the performance of RBF error filtering Identification model is verified by the simulation with a three-state engine model. The simulation results have revealed that the values of the estimated function show favorable agreement with the real values of the engine model. The introduced identification scheme can be effectively applied to model-based nonlinear control.

  • UX design e-learning systems in order to establish the reasonable structured modules that are based on interdisciplinary research. E-learning by focusing on technology-related education, information technology and psychology, business administration, etc. has been studied in the field. However, an important part of smart education, one of the students in the field of self-directed research is lacking UX design. UX Design the User Interface and Visual Identity is central to the success of the content of the important research areas in modern smart society. This case study is for smart education digital textbooks considered the characteristics of the study. Presented by the Ministry of Education on the basis of the standard of digital textbook content of the e-learning features, including multi-disciplinary analysis of UX design requires a structured model is proposed. Research data on the smart education and virtual education in UX design being used as the basis for studies forward.

  • In this paper, we present a feedback structured adaptive RF filter based on the recursive modified Gram-Schmidt algorithm for short-term prediction of EEG signal. And the performance of this proposed filter is compared with those of linear AR model, RF filter, Volterra filter and RBF neural network as single-step prediction and multi-step prediction. The results show the superiority of this proposed filter in prediction of EEG signals.

  • The flow analysis is made to simulate the turbulent flow in the pipe with an obstacle. The models used are k-$\epsilon$, k-$\omega$, Spalart-Allmaras and Reynolds. The structured grid is used for the simulation The velocity vector, the pressure contour, the change of residual along the iteration number and the dynamic head are simulated for the comparison of four example cases. For the analysis, the commercial code is used.

  • Mixed H$_{2}$/H$_{\infty}$ robust control synthesis is considered for finite dimensional linear time-invariant systems under the presence of diagonal structured uncertainties. Such uncertainties arise for instance when there is real perturbation in the nominal model of the state space system or when modeling multiple (unstructured) uncertainty at different locations in the feedback loop. This synthesis problem is reduced to convex optimization problem over a bounded subset of matrices as well as diagonal matrix having certain structure. For computational purpose, this convex optimization problem is further reduced into Generalized Eigenvalue Minimization Problem where a powerful algorithm based on interior point method has been recently developed..

  • Using an exchange standard, we can design an open architecture for the interchange of decision models and data. XML (eXtensible Markup Language) provides a general framework for creating such a standard. Although XML -based model representation languages such as OOSML were proposed, they are partly limited in expression capability, flexibility, generality, etc. This paper proposes a new method for expressing and sharing decision models and data based on XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language), which is a XML language specialized in business reporting. We have developed a XBRL taxonomy for decision models with the concepts and relationships of a representative modeling framework, SM (Structured Modeling). The method allows for expressing data as well as decision models in a consistent and flexible manner. Diverse dependencies between components of SM models can also be affluently expressed.

  • This study examines a multivariate model of the effect of life events and transitions, intrafamily strain, marital adjustment, and appraisal on family well-being across the family system types. Data from 356 families were analysed SAS program. The result show that life events had no direct on family well-being but they intensified intrafamily strain. Family strain, in turn, negatively affected marital adjustment in flexible-connected families and structured-seperated families and perceived well-being in flexible-seperared, flexible-connected and structured-seperated families. marital adjustment were positively related to well-being in flexible-connected families. In flexible-connected families, marital adjustment seems to buffer the effect of intrafamily stain on well-being. The result also suggested that a combination of cohesion and adaptability level may explain differencies in the family's response to de4mands.

  • This study aimed to examine the effect of brand equity dimensions measuring the impact of brand equity on purchase intension of smart phones in Kathmandu. Descriptive and causal research design was used for the study. Structured questionnaires were administered for collecting data. Structured equation modeling was applied for validating the proposed model and measuring the influence of brand equity dimensions on purchase intentions of smart phones. Independent sample t-test and ANOVA was used to test the effect of moderating variables on purchase intention. The research fount brand loyalty and brand awareness were the influential factors for purchase intention of smart phones. Females performed significantly more than males in purchase intention. Qualification had no significant differences on purchase intention of smart phones. The findings of this study add values to the literature and its applicability of brand equity, brand awareness and purchase intensions which helps to formulate polices and strategies.

  • Duality in the optimal harvesting for a nonlinear age-spatial structured population dynamic model is studied in the framework of optimal control problem. In this paper the duality theory that displays the conjugacy of the primal problem is established and an application is given. Duality theory plays an important role in both optimization theory and methodology and the results may be applied to a realistic biological system on the point of optimal harvesting.
