The optimum mixing conditions of silica and silane containing rubber composites were evaluated by investigating the properties of rubber composites prepared with a silica composition of 10, 20, 40, 60, and 80 g, respectively. The crosslinking rate decreased with increasing silica content, with he promoters being adsorbed on the silica surface with in the rubber composite. As a result, the increase in crosslinking time resulted in the destruction of the silica structure. The increase of the bound rubber content due to the destruction of the silica structure inhibited the chain motion of the polymer molecules and reduced the cohesion of the silica itself. Finally, the increase of silica content showed the increase of hardness, tensile strength, and storage modulus of rubber composites.

In this paper, a SL-DCVSL (static latched differential cascode voltage switch logic) circuit for the asynchronous pipeline is proposed. The proposed SL-DCVSL circuit is a slightly modified version of the DCVSL circuit, and used to improve the storage capability of the precharged functional blocks. The proposed SL-DCVSL has more robust storage characteristics compared to the conventional LDCVSL (latched DCVSL〔2〕). The operation of the proposed circuit is verified by simulating the asynchronous FIFO (First-In First-Out) structure.

A simulation method is proposed to study the amorphous structure of carbon nitride. The material properties of a non-uniform nitrogen distribution in an amorphous CN matrix can be studied. The cohesive energy of a group of randomly generated atoms can be minimized to find the relative positions of atoms. From the calculated configuration of atoms, many properties of amorphous carbon nitride can be calculated such as bulk modulus, P-V curve, sp$^3$/sp$^2$ ratio of carbon, and vibrational spectra. The calculation shows that the cohesive energy of non-uniform nitrogen distribution is lower than that of a uniform distribution. This may suggest that the regular structure of carbon nitride can at most be metastable. It is not easy to incorporate nitrogen atoms into a carbon matrix.

To increase the high-density data storage, a new technique of Super-resolution near-field structure (Super-RENS) consisted of glass／SiN／Sb or AgOx／SiN has been proposed and investigated intensively as a promising structure for near-field ultrahigh-density optical storage. Hence it is important to determine the optical properties of AgOx by using ellipsometry. AgOx thin films were prepared by using magnetron sputtering technique while oxygen flow rate was varied, and the film growth of AgOx were monitored by using in situ ellipsometer. (omitted)

Despite the high historical and topological values, closed schools are rarely reutilized. The reason can be likely explained by integrity of the building structure and unawareness of the operation and maintenance for closed schools. The purpose of this study is finding a possibility of reusing closed schools by deploying SI (Skeleton and Infill) theory. SI theory is separating the "skeleton" like structure from "infill" such as interior furnishings to extend building life without complete demolishing of the building. It will allow satisfying various local community demands by alternating infill without demolishing of historical and topological value of the building. The experimental test was undertaken with closed school for this study. The local community's demands or opinions were reflected to develop a strategy for deploying infill system especially movable storage furniture to closed school. The study finds possibilities that SI theory can assist local community to 1) construct potential demand for utilizing closed school and 2) suggest strategy for operating and maintaining closed school.

A GIS software GEO Millennium SystemTM has been developed to integrated with spatial database that combines conventional and spatially related data. As we known well the standard query language lacks the support of spatial data type and predicate, and can not serve as the query language in the spatial database directly; some extended strategies have been proposed, but some of them need their own storage manager, some introfuce new clause into the SELECT-FROM-WHERE structure, and some is very complex and available to us. So we designed our own query language on the conventional storage manager system. It supports the Spatial Data Type and predicate, and provides the full query capabilities of SQL on the non-spatial part of the database while being tightly integrated with the spatial part, without changing the standard SQL structure.

In recent years, many researches on new storage media with high capacity and information are developing. For manufacture of optical storage with high capacity, the injection molding process is generally used. In order to increase the filling ratio of the injection molding structure, the injection molding process required for high injection pressure, packing pressure and temperature control of the mold. However, conventional injection molding process is difficult to increase the filling ratio using injection master with the range of several nanometers and high aspect ratio. In order to improve and increase filling ratio of nano-structure with high aspect ratio, the active temperature control of injection mold was used. Experimental conditions were used injection pressure, time and temperature. Consequently, by using the peltier device into injection mold, we carried out the efficient and active temperature control of mold at low cost.

It is significant issue to control the unwanted transverse electric (TE) modes in the vacuum chamber for preventing the position reading noise from the beam position monitor (BPM) of storage ring. We introduce shunt structure to control the frequency distribution of TE resonance modes excited in the vacuum chambers of the Pohang Light Source II (PLS-II). The design of shunt structure is performed using the full three dimensional finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) simulation. It is verified that the sympton of the BPM noise is not oberved up to the beam current of 190 mA in the commmissioning of PLS-II.

In this paper, we designed and implemented bio-signals transmission and storage system using wireless sensor network based on ZigBee. Wireless sensor network is organized with routing protocol based on tree structure. The data is transmitted to monitoring system based on SIP. ZigBee will be used as various combinations with other wireless network technologies for application purposes.
