The basic analysis of Soil and structural mechanics for the bridge substructure affected by the flow of water is sufficient in the construction of such bridges, but the stability of scour resulting from hydraulic phenomena is insufficient. In addition, it is not enough to estimate the scour depth of the bridge which reflects the watershed characteristics of the domestic river because it uses the formula for calculating the scour depth of the overseas piers in calculating the scour depth of the bridge. In this study, the application of the CSU (1993) formula, which is currently applied to the national river design criteria, was reviewed between the two formulas after calculating the scour after calculating the scour by applying another bridge deck scour calculation formula to take into account the uncertainty in the calculation of scour. In this study, in addition to the CSU (1993) formula, which is currently applied to Korean river design criteria, another scour depth calculation formula is applied to calculate uncertainty in scour depth calculation, was reviewed between the two formulas. The review confirmed that the SSE (%) showed a difference of at least 2.08%, up to 91.23%, and SSEn(%) at least 0.19%, up to 415.91%, when compared to the measured depth of the pier based on the hydraulic model experiment and the depth of the pier calculated with the nine scour depth formulas in use. In other words, it is confirmed that there are many differences between the scouring formulas of piers. The results of this study are expected to be used to estimate scour depth in future river design.
This paper investigated convergent factors to turnover intention among some Administrative Staff in Medical Institutions(ASMI). The survey used self-administered questionnaires for 320 administrative staffs of 27 medical institutions in the J region, selected arbitrarily from July 2, 2018 to July 27, 2018. The hierarchical multiple regression analysis shows the following results. The turnover intention of respondents turned out to be significantly higher in following groups: a group in which organizational commitment is lower, a group in which organizational loyalty is higher, a group in which exhaustion, cynicism, reduced professional efficacy, sub-areas of job burnout are higher. The results show explanatory power of 50.9%. The results of the study indicate that the efforts, to increase organizational commitment and organizational loyalty, and to decrease exhaustion, cynicism, reduced professional efficacy, sub-areas of job burnout, are required to improve the turnover intention among ASMI. These results could be used in hospital organization personnel management and industrial health education to lower the level of turnover intention in ASMI, vocational aptitude education of health care college students. In following studies, it is necessary to present and analyze the structural model affecting the turnover intention of ASMI.

With the rapid development of mobile communication tools, customers are using SNS as a major information tool. SNS can provide information to a small number of customers as well as people around them, with information about a product or service that a small number of customers know through experience. With these characteristics, dessert cafes are being used as a major marketing tool for online websites and mobile phones using SNS. Therefore, in this study, theoretical considerations about e-WOM quality, perceived value, and visit intention were performed. The effect of e-WOM quality of dessert cafe on perceived value was analyzed and the effect of perceived value on visit intention was analyzed. Based on these results, I would like to suggest theoretical implications and practical implications for online marketing of dessert cafes. This study was conducted to survey the customers who have visited dessert cafe through oral communication within the last 6 months. The survey was conducted from September 4, 2018 to September 18, 2018, and was used for the analysis of 317 additional items. The research hypotheses between the e-WOM quality of the dessert cafe and the utilitarian value, hedonic value, and visiting intention were used the structural equation model(SEM). First, neutrality and interactivity have a significant effect on utilitarian value, but consensus and vividness have not significant effect. Second, It was found that the consensus, vividness, and neutrality had a significant effect on the hedonic value but interactivity was not found to have a significant effect. Third, hedonic value has a significant effect on visit intention, but utilitarian value has not significant effect. As a result, online e-WOM quality management is important.
Irregular workers, which have recently caused various socio-economic issues and conflicts, generally have low loyalty to the organization and job satisfaction due to anxiety about employment. As a way to improve this, this study attempted to analyze the effect of organizational communication satisfaction of irregular workers on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Among the 7th Human Capital Companies panel survey data, irregular workers survey data were collected and analyzed using the structural equation model analysis. The results were as follows: First, it was analyzed that organizational communication recognized by irregular workers had a positive(+) effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Second, it was analyzed that job satisfaction had a positive(+) effect on organizational commitment. Third, it was analyzed that job satisfaction plays a mediating role in the relationship between communication satisfaction and organizational commitment. This study is significant in that it expanded the research subject to irregular workers from the existing service industry-oriented research, and that it included more diverse industries. The results of this study suggest that mission and vision sharing and communication activation system are needed to improve organizational effectiveness of irregular workers.
The primary purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of cognitive emotion regulation strategies in the relationship between adult attachment and interpersonal relationship competence. To achieve the purpose of the study, college students from nationwide completed the questionnaire and analyzed 326 valid ones. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and structural equation model were performed using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 23.0. The results are as follows. First, adult attachment(attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance) were negatively correlated with interpersonal relationship competence. Also, attachment avoidance was significantly influenced on interpersonal relationship competence than attachment anxiety. Second, in the relationship between adult attachment and interpersonal relationship competence, attachment anxiety was fully mediated and attachment avoidance was partially mediated with cognitive emotion regulation strategies. Attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance mediated with adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies. Based on these results, we verified the importance and the possibility of changing the cognitive emotion regulation for increasing the level of interpersonal relationship competence. Finally, this study may provide an insight in terms of developing education and programs of adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies in counseling session.
This study ascertained convergent influence on self-leadership and its association with self-competence, self-efficacy and locus of control among female freshmen in health majors studying TOEIC. Data collection was carried out using a self-administered questionnaire from April 29, 2019 to May 10, 2019 and the target was randomly selected 201 female freshmen in health majors in TOEIC class from college located in J city. Self-leadership was positively correlated with self-competence, self-efficacy and locus of control. The covariance structure analysis showed that the higher self-competence, the higher self-efficacy and the lower locus of control tend to increase self-leadership. The results of the study indicate that the efforts, to increase self-competence and self-efficacy, to decrease locus of control, are required to improve self-leadership of female freshmen in health majors studying TOEIC. These results are expected to be used for educational counseling and intervention efforts to enhance self-leadership among female freshmen in health majors studying TOEIC. In future studies, further research on additional factors affecting self-leadership is needed.
Purpose: Fast food franchise companies are trying a variety of innovative services to increase their competitiveness in response to changes in population composition in the fast food market and rapid changes in consumption trends due to technological development. From this point of view, franchise companies that have focused on offline store operations are providing O2O (offline to online) service as a core service for customer convenience. This new attempt is a strategy to increase loyalty by applying an interaction method based on understanding the characteristics of new generation consumers. However, existing studies are focused on the relationship between O2O service and acceptance, so very little is known about how O2O service affects customer loyalty. Therefore, this study examines the impacts of customer involvement and relative advantages of fast food O2O service on customer brand engagement (cognitive and affective engagement) and store loyalty for MZ(Millennials - Z) generations. Research design, data, and methodology: In order to achieve the purposes of this research, several hypotheses were developed. The data were collected from 247 questionnaires in their 16-30s and were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and SmartPLS 3.0 program. Measurement model analysis was carried out to assess convergent and discriminant validity. Also, common method bias was tested using the values of VIF (variance inflation factor). The hypotheses was tested using structural equation modeling. Result: First, involvement has a positive effect on cognitive and affective engagement. Second, relative advantages have has a positive effect on cognitive and affective engagement. Third, cognitive influences affective engagement. Finally, both cognitive and affective engagement affect store loyalty, but affective engagement has a stronger effect on store loyalty than cognitive engagement. Conclusions: In the process of consumer-brand interaction, it was confirmed that store loyalty was influenced by cognitive and affective engagement sequentially. However, the results show that affective engagement has a relatively stronger on store loyalty than cognitive engagement. Therefore, it is necessary to establish an O2O service strategy to maintain long-term loyal customers by inducing cognitive participation with high-involved consumer, as well as affective interaction, in order to obtain new customers and increase customer loyalty.
This study aims to study the effect of service quality of lifelong education in culture and arts on educational satisfaction, intention to continuous use and performance. The service quality of culture and art lifelong education was divided into three dimensions: education quality, administrative quality, and environmental quality. As detailed factors related to quality, six variables were set based on SERVQUAL: convenience, expertise, responsiveness, supportability, empathy, and tangibility. For this study, data were collected from 310 people taking cultural arts lectures at lifelong educational institutions in Seoul, Daegu, and Gumi. Since it was only for lectures related to culture and arts, a total of 256 materials were used for the study, excluding inappropriate materials. A structured questionnaire was used as a data collection method, and a structural model analysis was conducted to verify the hypothesis. As a result of this study, responsiveness among the service quality factors of lifelong education for culture and arts was rejected. In addition, the higher the satisfaction with the culture and art lifelong education institution, the higher the performance and the intention to continue using it. The theoretical and practical implications of this study result were discussed, and future research tasks were presented.
This study examined the relationship of grit, goal perception and academic adjustment of adult female students in a distance university. We additionally investigated how academic work-family conflict and social support influenced the grit-adjustment relationship. Grit is defined as passion and perseverance for long-term goals and it has been known as one of the predictors of adjustment indicators including academic achievement. A total of 642 female students in a distance university were participated in the survey and a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was utilized for data analysis. Results showed that our model fit data well, specifically, two components of grit (i.e. consistency of interest and perseverance of effort) positively predicted academic adjustment. Results from analyses of specific indirect effects revealed that consistency of interest was found to have a positive direct effect on academic adjustment while perseverance of effort had a positive indirect effect via goal perception, suggesting the discriminant predictability of grit's two components. Lastly, academic work-family conflict was found to negatively predict academic adjustment while social support predicted a positive academic adjustment via goal perception.
This study is for analyzing the management performances of Korean tourism firms, which have been operating as preparing strategically against FTA, one of the most importantly external environment in international management since in the middle of 1990s. The main purpose can be mentioned to test empirically some relations between the management performances of Korean tourism ones and the levels of understanding and preparing against FTA. In detail speaking, the dependent variables of management performances are classified with sales, profits and management satisfaction, while the independent ones regarding with FTA are sorted based on the previous studies with the 2 following factors like understanding/preparing of managers and one of workers in a firm. This study is conducted in two stages. Firstly, the research model is designed by the reviewing relevant theories, previous studies. Secondly, the survey of Korean tourism enterprises engaging in management activities in Korea is implemented by collecting questionnaires. And for testing the hypothesis, the analyzing tools are being used for correlation, reliability, validity and multi regression on SPSS 12.0 for windows and finally the path analysis of structural equation modeling is activated with AMOS 7.0 for windows.
