In this paper, we first show that for any space X, there is a Boolean subalgebra $\mathcal{G}(z_X)$ of R(X) containg $\mathcal{G}(X)$. Let X be a strongly zero-dimensional space such that $z_{\beta}^{-1}(X)$ is the minimal cloz-coevr of X, where ($E_{cc}({\beta}X)$, $z_{\beta}$) is the minimal cloz-cover of ${\beta}X$. We show that the minimal cloz-cover $E_{cc}(X)$ of X is a subspace of the Stone space $S(\mathcal{G}(z_X))$ of $\mathcal{G}(z_X)$ and that $E_{cc}(X)$ is a strongly zero-dimensional space if and only if ${\beta}E_{cc}(X)$ and $S(\mathcal{G}(z_X))$ are homeomorphic. Using these, we show that $E_{cc}(X)$ is a strongly zero-dimensional space and $\mathcal{G}(z_X)=\mathcal{G}(X)$ if and only if ${\beta}E_{cc}(X)=E_{cc}({\beta}X)$.

This research develops a robot as the device which constructs underwater harbour. This construction is to build a breakwater, which is dangerous and difficult. The hydraulic parallel mechanism-typed robot is developed to mechanize the construction by operating of a stoneworker (or diver) through a joystick. The six-dof robot is able to carry 2-3 tons' heavy stone and put it on the surface of breakwater. This paper presents the mechanical design of a miniature robot, its control and application for the breakwater construction.

In this paper, we first show that for any space X, there is a ${\sigma}$-complete Boolean subalgebra of $\mathcal{R}$(X) and that the subspace {${\alpha}{\mid}{\alpha}$ is a fixed ${\sigma}Z(X)^{\sharp}$-ultrafilter} of the Stone-space $S(Z({\Lambda}_X)^{\sharp})$ is the minimal basically disconnected cover of X. Using this, we will show that for any countably locally weakly Lindel$\ddot{o}$f space X, the set {$M{\mid}M$ is a ${\sigma}$-complete Boolean subalgebra of $\mathcal{R}$(X) containing $Z(X)^{\sharp}$ and $s_M^{-1}(X)$ is basically disconnected}, when partially ordered by inclusion, becomes a complete lattice.

In this paper, an experimental program was undertaken to test the analysis on Component and mechanical characteristics for crushed stone of excavated Rocks from Sandstone, Shale, Mudstone, for use as a new source of aggregate. Physical and mechanical properties, required for aggregate materials, of major constituents of rock wastes including Sandstone, Shale, Mudstone, Felsite, Basalt, Marl were measured in the laboratory Test results showed that the Shale, Felsite, Basalt tested in this study might possibly be used for construction aggregates. In case of Sandstone and Mudstone, some physical properties such as rock strength were generally adoptable but the aggregate characteristics were lower than required.

The objective of this paper is to study burst through the influence of overheating to affect a seamed container using the cookers with different materials and bottom sizes. Following result are drawn from this study; When bottom size of the roast meat had 24cm diameter, the upper part temperature of a seamed container was increased over $40^{\circ}C$. Therefore the cooker material without regard to cooker size had a great influence on the temperature of seamed container. For the natural stone plate which had bottom length 65cm, a seamed container was burst at the cooker temperature $801^{\circ}C$, the surface temperature of a burner $573^{\circ}C$. the upside temperature of seamed container $379^{\circ}C$, the downside temperature of seamed container $236^{\circ}C$ and ambient temperature $34^{\circ}C$. For the cooker of the same bottom area, the stone plate had greater influence on effect of temperature than aluminium cooker. Overheating had a great influence on the seamed container if the bottom or upside diameter of a cooker had been larger than a trivet.

Masonry structures in the rural areas of Turkey often damaged due to moderate and big earthquakes. After every earthquake many scientists made field investigations on the earthquake performance of these structures and gave many useful information on construction techniques. However, the newly constructed masonry buildings are still not suitable for the suggested techniques, and they are still in danger against future earthquakes. Five moderate earthquakes of moment magnitude Mw 5.3, 5.3, 5.2, 5.0, and 5.3 struck the Ayvacik-Çanakkale District of Turkey between 6 and 12 February, 2017. More than a thousand of aftershocks were occurred and most of the masonry buildings in the villages nearby main shock epicenter were affected. The author went to the earthquake field and investigated the earthquake performances of masonry structures. This paper presents the recorded acceleration data, acceleration response spectra, and the seismological aspects of these earthquakes. Besides, case studies of damaged stone masonry buildings, and failure mechanisms are discussed with illustrated photos which were taken during the field investigations. It is concluded that the damaged masonry buildings were not designed and constructed properly in accordance with the Turkish building codes or similar specifications.

This paper presents the nearfield acoustic holography (NAH) imaging system for airborne sound constructed in our own laboratory. The effects of different kinds of noise and the filter function's form in wave number space for reconstructions are analysed emphatically. Using the system we have measured the vibrating mode and the radiated field of a simulative "Chime Stone" made by metal, and gotten interesting results. These results indicate that NAH can be used to research the mechanism of sound production and evalution of musical quality for Chime Stone as an effective means.

Let R be a commutative ring with nonzero identity and M be an R-module. In this paper, we first introduce the concept of S-idempotent element of R. Then we give a relation between S-idempotents of R and clopen sets of S-Zariski topology. After that we define S-pure ideal which is a generalization of the notion of pure ideal. In fact, every pure ideal is S-pure but the converse may not be true. Afterwards, we show that there is a relation between S-pure ideals of R and closed sets of S-Zariski topology that are stable under generalization.

Through literature research and field investigation, this paper attempts to study the distribution, morphology and the typification of the visual and perceptual stone inscription in Wuyi-Gugok of China. The results are as follows: First, there are 350 stone inscriptions in total from the 1^st Gok to 9^th Gok in Wuyi-Gugok. Second, according to the analysis of the stone inscription distribution, 74(21.2%) stone inscriptions in the 5^th Gok, 67(19.2%) in the 6^th Gok, 65(18.6%) in the 1^st Gok, 60(17.2%) in the 2^nd Gok and 53(15.2%) in the 4^th Gok are confirmed. The above five Goks contain 319(91.1%) stone inscriptions, so they have rich cultural landscape. Third, according to the survey, the number of the stone inscriptions existed in the Sugwangseok of the 1^st Gok are 41(22.6%), in the Homagan of Cheonyubong of the 6^th Gok are 29(8.3%), in the Jesiam of the 4^th Gok are 23(6.6%), in the Nyeongam of the 2^nd Gok are 22(6.3%), in the Hyangseongam of the 6^th Gok are 21(6%), in the Unwa of the 5^th Gok are 19(5.4%), in the Bokhoam of the 5^th Gok are 18(5.1%), in the Eunbyeongbong of the 5^th Gok are 17(4.9%), in the Daejangbong of the 4^th Gok are 14(4%), in the Daewangbong of the 1^st Gok and the Geumgokam of the 4^th Gok are 12(3.4%). Thus, a total of 228 (65.1%) stone inscriptions are concentrated in these 11 sites, which represent the popularity and cultural value of these rocks. Fourth, the stone inscription of Wuyi-Gugok, praising the landform and topographical geological landscape of Mount Wuyi, mainly describe the scenic name of each Gok related to Zhu Xi's Gugok culture, appreciate Zhu Xi's tracks and the stone inscription in the sacred land of Neo-Confucianism culture, and also record the Confucian edification of mencius thoughts, Muigun(武夷君) and the myths and legends related to the site names of Wuyi mountain, which can remind people of the worldview of the celestial paradise where the gods live and the fairyland of the land of peach blossoms. In addition, it indicates that the historical and cultural landscape, which is full of colorful history and myths and legends, including allusions related to Confucian, buddhist and Taoist celebrities and the ancestor ancient things related to traditional culture of China is very diverse. Fifth, the results of the classification, based on the content of the stone inscription in Wuyi-Gugok, are classified as the scenery name inscription, the praise scene inscription, the recording travel inscription, the recording event inscription, the philosophy inscription, the expressing emotion inscription, the religion inscription, the inscription for auspiciousness, the slogan and expressing ambition inscription and the official document notice inscription, among which there are 102(29.1%) praise scene inscriptions, 93(26.6%) scenery name inscriptions and 61(17.4%) recording travel inscriptions. The stone inscriptions of Wuyi-Gugok have the characteristics of the special emphasis on scenery names, landscape praise and commemorative tours. Sixth, the analysis of the intertext between the 「Figure of Wuyi-Gugok」 and Wuyi-Gugok rock letters, in the study found that the method of propagation between media was mostly the method of propagation of quotations and maintained intermedia through extension, repetition, extension, and compression.
