The purpose of this study was to investigate elementary school teachers' perception and the status of education program on science museum field trips by using a questionnaire (188 teachers) and interview (6 teachers). The results of the research are as follows. First, factors influencing elementary school teachers who choose the science museum as a place for field trips were 'student's interest', 'teacher's own experience related to the science museum', 'science curriculum', 'suggestions from a fellow teacher', 'space available for field work' and so on. Second, 82% of the respondents conducted pre-education program, but they mainly conducted safety education. Third, the teacher conducted post-education program less than pre-education program. In the post-education program, the most activities were to express and share knowledge and experience gained from the science museum. Fourth, 52.2% of the teachers provided tasks or activity sheets during science museum field trips. Fifth, the teachers mainly served as safety guide. In addition, the teachers thought that safety guide was the most important role of teacher in science museum field trips. Sixth, the teachers thought that the method of viewing the science museum's collection, which emphasizes the role of docent rather than the teacher, was more educational.
The role of artificial medical intelligence through medical big data has been focused on data-based medical device business and medical service technology development in the field of diagnostic examination of the patient's current condition, clinical decision support, and patient monitoring and management. Recently, with the 4th Industrial Revolution, the medical field changed the medical treatment paradigm from the method of treatment based on the knowledge and experience of doctors in the past to the form of receiving the help of high-precision medical intelligence based on medical data. In addition, due to the spread of non-face-to-face treatment due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is expected that the era of telemedicine, in which patients will be treated by doctors at home rather than hospitals, will soon come. It can be said that artificial medical intelligence plays a big role at the center of this paradigm shift in prevention-centered treatment rather than treatment. Based on big data, this paper analyzes the current status of artificial intelligence technology for chronic disease patients, market trends, and domestic and foreign company trends to predict the expected effect and future development direction of artificial intelligence technology for chronic disease patients. In addition, it is intended to present the necessity of developing digital therapeutics that can provide various medical services to chronically ill patients and serve as medical support to clinicians.
Spurred by the ongoing globalization, an increase in mobility has diversified migrant categories and strengthened intercultural rapport. Alongside the "traditional" migrants, "White" (Caucasian) individuals are coming into greater focus of migration studies as "lifestyle migrants". Although White migrations are not a new phenomenon, the deep-seated idea of White supremacy continues to play an important role in contemporary intercultural communication, awarding Whites across communities a "cosmopolitan" status of highly educated cultural elites. As such, the focus of this research is on highly skilled White European migrants, on their subjective experiences of integration in Japan, and whether they perceive Whiteness as an obstacle or an advantage in this process, if integration is desired at all. To discern the connection between race and integration, this research investigates the non-White majority society of Japan as it has established racial hierarchies according to the Western models, consequently influencing the status of its contemporary White immigrants. Privileged, yet singled out as racial and cultural role models, White Europeans' integration seemingly becomes nearly impossible. The data obtained in fifteen semi-structured interviews confirms that Whiteness grants advantages when entering the Japanese job market, but remains an obstacle in everyday community integration. European professionals do not feel accepted and abandon efforts to integrate, if such were made, retreating into "cosmopolitan islets" wherein they renegotiate their White European identities.
Background: The purpose of this study was to identify role ambiguity of comprehensive nursing care unit nurses. Methods: A concept analysis method by Walker and Avant was used to understand role ambiguity of comprehensive nursing care unit nurses. Results: The antecedents of role ambiguity of nurses at comprehensive nursing units were shortage of nurses, unclear admission criteria, and demands for customized nursing care according to severity. Attributes include ambiguity in role delegation, patient placement ambiguity, and professional ambiguity among nursing staff. The consequences were diminished job satisfaction due to excessive workload, difficulty in resolving role ambiguity due to the lack of work analysis studies, and poor outcome of nursing indicators. Conclusion: Improvement of nationwide awareness for comprehensive nursing care unit is required. Clear division at scope of practice for nursing staff in accordance of each medical institution's characteristics is essential. Nurses at comprehensive nursing care unit should understand nature of role ambiguity that occurs as they work in large groups. Nurses should promote communications between nursing staff and they must have volition to improve status quo. An additional research of comprehensive nursing care on the causes of role ambiguity in the practice of nursing care for ward nurses is needed, and management measures should be sought at the organizational level.
Using data from Korean Longitudinal Study on Aging (KLoSA), this study examines how continuity and change of marital status is associated with health over time among older women, focusing on the moderating effects of age and parent-child relationships. KLoSA data set has two waves of interviews, and for this study, 2046 women aged 65 and over were selected. To analyze data, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used. The major findings are as follows. First, there was no statistically significant difference in health between continuously married older women and continuously single older women. However, older women who had transition from being married to being single showed lower physical health than continuously married and continuously single older women. Second, there were statistically significant differences in the effect of marital status on mental health according to the age of older women. Older women who had transition from being married to being single showed lower mental health than continuously married elders when older women were younger. Third, contact with children moderated the effect of marital status on physical health. Older women who had transition from being married to being single showed lower physical health than continuously single and continuously married older women when older women had less contact with their children. The findings imply after the loss of marital role, older women's relationship with adult children plays a significant role in promoting health. In conclusion, the findings of this study show the different pathways through which marital status is associated with health for 3 different groups of older women, being continuously single, being continuously married, and making transition from being married to being single.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of workers' human resource development and their recognition of human resource on-the-job satisfaction. A sample of 4,727 workers that was selected from Korea Labor Panel Data was analyzed by t-test and multiple regression, and was tested by causal effects among related variables. The major findings were as follows: First, the workers' recognition of their job performance level vs. educational attainment was affected by their annual income, job status, educational attainment, gender, and experiences of human resource development. Second, the workers' job satisfaction was affected by gender, age, educational attainment, health status, job status, annual income, experiences of human resource development, recognition of their job performance level vs. educational attainment, and recognition for their job availability. Third, the factors that had a causal effect on workers' job satisfaction were educational attainment, gender, age, health status, annual income, and experiences of human resource development. Above all, workers' educational attainment had a strong direct effect on job satisfaction, and annual income had a strong indirect effect on it. From these findings, it can be concluded that workers' effort and trial for development and investment of human resource played an important role in increasing job satisfaction.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify degrees of mood states, perceived health status, social support, and health promoting behavior, and to explore factors influencing health promoting behavior in postpartum women who were at Sanhujoriwon. Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was used. Data were collected using questionnaires from 197 postpartum women who were at Sanhujoriwon from May 28 to June 18, 2015. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation analyses, and a multiple linear regression. Results: The mean age of the participants was 31.8 years. About a half (47.2%) participants had a plan to receive 2 weeks of Sanhujoriwon care service. The mean health promoting behavior score was 123.5 ranged from 72 to 171. The health promoting behavior was explained by perceived health status (${\beta}=.25$) and social support (${\beta}=.24$). These factors accounted for 14% of the health promoting behavior. Conclusion: The findings of this study reveal an important role of perceived health status, social support in health promoting behavior of postpartum women at Sanhujoriwon.
Shoes originated from the practical purposes : to protect feet from heat, cold. etc., and developed into various shapes. representing ornamentation and hierarchy. It was revealed that the aesthetic value was differently manifested from the practical one by different natural environments and socio-cultural Phenomena of the times in the East and the West. Comparing shoes in the East with those in the West, this study finds out the origin of shoes in the East and the West, and shapes and characteristics of shoes through the changes of times. Investigating various kinds of shoes in the East and the West, it also finds out the differences in status representations. Shoes are classified into the following styles : in the West. (i) sandal in which the instep was almost exposed, tied with strips and fixed with band, (ii) closed shoes covering the instep, (iii) boots that arose above the ankle: in the East, (i) shoes without shoe neck (리) boots with shoe neck (화) and wooden shoes (극). Status was also represented in shoes. In the West. the status difference was manifested mainly by jewelry or embroidery ornamentation. In particular, it was realized by the way they tied the shoes in Rome and by the length of the pointed front of the shoes in Romanesque and Gothic period. In the East, China, Korea and Japan, on the other hand, the use of shoes was regulated in detail by the official costume system, where material and color played an important role in marking the status.
The purposes of this study were to establish a conceptual model on the woman's labor force participation and mobility in the labor market and to analyze the correlation between them. Included in those models were two independent variable sets. The one was related to household's financial conditions and the other was associated to the woman's role such as marital status, the number of children and the existence of young children. KHPS's national data was used and the Binomial Probit Model and Bivariate Probit Model were employed to analyse the effects of independent variables and the correlations between two dependent variables. The results of this study were as follows. The rate of women's labor force participation and the percentage of mobility willingness were 15.4% and 22.0%. Among the variables which have affected women's labor force participation were total wage income, non-wage income, expenditure on children's education and the subject judgement of their financial status. The existence of children under the age of 6 and marital status had significant influences on women's mobility willingness. The correlation between women's labor force participation and mobility willingness was very significant statistically. These findings clarified the status of woman as a secondary worker and pointed that a woman's economic activity would be subject to the woman's condition rather than her human capital.

Athletic performance is a complex multifactorial trait involving genetic and environmental factors. The heritability of an athlete status was reported to be about 70% in a twin study, and at least 155 genetic markers are known to be related with athlete status. Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) encodes essential proteins for oxidative phosphorylation, which is related to aerobic capacity. Thus, mtDNA is a candidate marker for determining physical performance. Recent studies have suggested that polymorphisms of mtDNA are associated with athlete status and/or physical performance in various populations. Therefore, we analyzed mtDNA haplogroups to assess their association with the physical performance of Korean population. The 20 mtDNA haplogroups were determined using the SNaPshot assay. Our result showed a significant association of the haplogroup F with athlete status (odds ratio, 3.04; 95% confidence interval, 1.094 to 8.464; p = 0.012). Athletes with haplogroup F ($60.64{\pm}3.04$) also demonstrated a higher Sargent jump than athletes with other haplogroups ($54.28{\pm}1.23$) (p = 0.041). Thus, our data imply that haplogroup F may play a crucial role in the physical performance of Korean athletes. Functional studies with larger sample sizes are necessary to further substantiate these findings.
