  • Intensive Monitoring Survey of Nearby Galaxies (IMSNG) is a program monitoring nearby galaxies with a high cadence within a day. The main goal of the project is to constrain the SNe explosion mechanism and properties of their progenitors by catching the early lights from the shock-heated cooling emission. The observation campaign began in 2014 with two 1-m class telescopes in the northern hemisphere. Now more than ten telescopes are monitoring galaxies with 60 IMSNG targets, which have a high probability of supernova explosion every night all around the world. Since the project started, the following observations have been carried out on 14 SNe Ia(including -pec), 27 core-collapse supernovae (CCSNe), and around 40 transients in other types. In this poster, we present the current status of IMSNG SNe data first and then focus more on the CCSNe. CCSNe are the explosion of massive stars, more massive than eight times of the Sun. They have been studied for more than a half decades but still have key questions to be solved, such as distinct types, the characteristics driving their diversity, and so on. Here, we show our ongoing studies of CCSNe in IMSNG, focusing on their usefulness as distance indicators and properties of early light curves.

  • This study was carried out to design, construct, and test a greenhouse monitoring system fur the environment and status of control devices in a greenhouse from a remote site using internet. The measuring items selected out of many environmental factors were temperature, humidity, solar radiation, CO$_2$, SOx, NOx concentration, EC, pH of nutrient solution, the state of control devices, and the image of greenhouse. The developed greenhouse monitoring system was composed of the network system and the measuring module. The network system consists of the three kinds of monitors named the Croup Monitor. the Client Monitor and the Server Monitor. The results of the study are summarized as follows. 1. The measuring module named the House Monitor. which is used to watch the state of the control device and the environment of the greenhouse, was developed to a embedded monitoring module using one chip microprocessor 2. For all measuring items. the House Monitor showed a satisfactory accuracy within the range of ${\pm}$0.3%FS. The House Monitors were connected to the Croup Monitor by communication method of RS-485 type and could operate under power and communication fault condition within 10 hours. The Croup Monitor was developed to receive and display measurement data received from the House Monitors and to control the greenhouse environmental devices. 3. The images of the plants inside greenhouse were captured by PC camera and sent to the Group Monitor. The greenhouse manager was able to monitor the growth state of plants inside greenhouse without visiting individual greenhouses. 4. Remote monitoring the greenhouse environment and status of control devices was implemented in a client/server environment. The client monitor of the greenhouse manager at a remote site or other greenhouse manager was able to monitor the greenhouse environment and the state of control devices from the Server Monitor using internet.

  • The RMS(Remote Monitoring System) is generalized to adopt in many automatic system by progress of industrial and technical growth. RMS has been developed from simple status monitoring system to realtime control system with multimedia interface. This study is to design and develop monitoring system that client is able to monitor and control target system on web browser. The RMS is consist of 4 functional modes, which is monitoring mode, control mode, setup mode and video mode. Monitoring mode is to observe remote target system with realtime on web browser. Control mode is to change target system status in monitoring mode. Setup mode is to change system variable in control mode. Video mode is to monitor target system environment visually by web camera. This RMS is easy to access and manage target system, and so useful to monitor remote automatic system and closing site.

  • In this paper, we implemented this failure detecting and monitoring system for high-pressure natrium lamps and ballasts. The hall CTs of the local detecting system measure the current flowing into natrium lamps via ballasts and acertain whether the natrium lamps or ballasts are out of order or not. These test data are transmitted to the main monitoring system. So, we can see the status of the natrium lamps or ballasts promptly.

  • SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is applied to develop a web based monitoring system for manufacturing processes. SNMP agents in manufacturing facilities collects monitoring data from machine controllers and send them to a web-server to be stored in a database by an SNMP managing agent. Clients can access these data using any web-browser. This study developed these agents and MIB (Management Information Base), a protocol to represent the status of machines, that can be used appropriately to monitor manufacturing processes.

  • In general, remote monitoring systems monitor the status of distributed hosts and/or applications in real-time for diverse managerial purposes. However, most of the extant systems have a few undesirable problems. First of all, they are platform-dependent and are not resilient to network and/or host failures. Moreover, they normally focus on the resource usage trends in monitored hosts, rather than on the status change of the applications running on them. We strongly believe that the latter has more direct and profound effect on the resource usage patterns on each host. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of the Remote Applications Monitoring System (RAMS) that enables us to effectively manage distributed applications through a real-time monitoring of their respective resource usages. The RAMS is a centralized system that consists of many distributed agents and a single centralized manager. An agent on each host is in charge of collecting and reporting the status of local applications. The manager handles agent registration and provides a central access point to the selection and monitoring of distributed applications. The salient features of the system include robustness and portability The adoption of JINI greatly facilitates an automatic recovery from partial network failure and host failure.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the establishment of future countermeasures by diagnosing the growth status and actual condition of undesignated old trees distributed in Hyeongok-myeon, Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The number of old trees surveyed was 2 weeks in Gajeong-ri, 2 weeks in Haguri, 3 weeks in Nae-Tae-ri, 1 week in Nawon-ri, 6 weeks in Oryu-ri, 3 weeks in Sangguri, and 2 weeks in Sohyeon-ri, The trees species composition was 6 trees Celtis sinensis Pers., 1 Diospyros lotus L. trees, 4 trees Salix chaenomeloides Kimura trees, 2 Styphnolobium japonicum L. trees, and 7 Zelkova serrata (Thunb.) Makino trees. Growth status is 7.1~22.0m in height, 14.6~25.1m in long axis, 10.2~19.2m in short axis, root diameter is 76.0~236.4cm, diamter at breast height is 67.0~220.0cm, soil acidity is pH4.9~7.0, soil The hardness was measured to be 4.0-27.0mm. The result grade of the scoring data of health information is represented by monitoring generally, monitoring critically, and absolute monitoring, and it was confirmed that out of the 20 trees population in Hyeongok-myeon, the general monitoring grade was 7 weeks, the major monitoring grade was 13 weeks, and there was no absolute monitoring grade. Accordingly, the number of old trees of the general surveillance level was maintained at the current level, and ecological surgical operations were introduced for the major surveillance level, but the case of village forests should be different, and sequential treatments were the old tree urgently needed. The level and bark of the target tree, the state of the crown, the root exposure, the presence of pests and pests, the vitality and the ground condition, the degree of pollution are normal, poor, or very poor, operation and protection management, soil improvement, removal of cover, and disinfection were urgently needed for the old trees with the surveyed data. In order to compensate for these matters, continuous monitoring and management measures for the old number should be sought.
