PURPOSES : This study is to develop speed correction factor for more realistic Level-of-Service(LOS) at multilane highway. METHODS : In this study, we compared speed difference the degree of speed reductions in actual multilane road conditions with speed reduction considering speed correction factor presented in highway capacity manual using statistical techniques. And also we presents new speed correction factor analyzing collected data at national highway No.1 (Goyang~Wolrung). RESULTS : The result of analyzing and comparing new suggested speed correction factor with speed correction factor in Korea Highway Capacity Manual (KHCM) shows RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) in new speed correction factor (RMSE 1.5) is much lower than existing speed correction factor (RMSE 13.4). New suggested speed correction can be used for analyzing Level-of-Service at multilane highway. And also we suggests improvements for analysis procedure in analyzing Level-of-Service at multilane highway CONCLUSIONS : As a result of comparing differences, we draw the causes that effect the differences in speed and suggest new speed correction factor that consider traffic volumes. It can be more rational because it uses speed correction factor which can consider more realistic traffic conditions, etc.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the reliability index of a design by applying the reduction factor of the recently developed fiber reinforced high strength concrete design guideline(draft). By collecting material and member test data performed for the development of the design guideline(draft), statistical characteristics of material strength and member strength analysis equations are obtained. A simul ation that appl ies the material statistical characteristics and the member anal ysis equation of the design guidel ine(draft) is performed, and the statistical characteristics of the section strength are calculated by combining the statistical characteristics of the analysis equation. Reliability analysis was performed by applying the load combination of the domestic highway bridge design code and concrete structural code, and it was confirmed that the design that applies the reduction factor for materials and members suggested in the design guideline(draft) satisfies the target reliability index.

A simultaneous test criterion for multiple hypotheses concerning comparison of two multivariate normal populations is considered by using the so called Bayes factor method. Fully parametric frequentist approach for the test is not available and thus Bayesian criterion is pursued using a Bayes factor that eliminates its arbitrariness problem induced by improper priors. Specifically, the fractional Bayes factor (FBF) by O'Hagan (1995) is used to derive the criterion. Necessary theories involved in the derivation an computation of the criterion are provided. Finally, an illustrative simulation study is given to show the properties of the criterion.

This Study is to propose the method about statistical factor from the old oriental medical record in Korea. This Study reviews the statistical analysis recently published in the old oriental medical books which are in the Research Report by the Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine at 2007. The results reveal a disease factors, prescription factors.medicines factors, population factors and historical factors by the statistics. The results show that the old oriental medical record for a information system need the interpreting with a information analysts, a statistics analysts and an oriental medical doctors.

This research is accomplished to verify objectively how flight instructor's transformative leadership affects student pilot's psychological stabilities and learning satisfactions. Flight instructor's transformative leadership factor divided into individual consideration, intellectual stimulus and charisma from exploring factor analysis. Psychological stability factor subdivided into happiness, concentration and satisfaction. Learning satisfaction factor subdivided into participation, recommendation, persistence, accomplishment and relationship. According to the analysis of flight instructor's transformative leadership effect on psychological stability, it showed that it has statistical significance on happiness, concentration and satisfaction. It also has positive influence on happiness and concentration. The result from regression analysis showed that individual consideration and charisma affected happiness and concentration in order. However, satisfaction from individual consideration, intellectual stimulus and charisma didn't show statistical significance to student pilot's satisfaction. Analysis of flight instructor's transformative leadership on student pilot's learning satisfaction showed statistical significance between them. Intellectual stimulus and charisma had positive influence on student pilot's learning satisfaction. Regression analysis showed charisma and intellectual affect student pilot's learning satisfaction in order.

Consider the oblique factor model X=Af＋$\varepsilon$, with defining relation $\Sigma$=Λ$\Phi$Λ'＋Ψ. This paper is concerned with suggesting an optimal Bayes criterion for determining the number of factors in the model, i.e. dimension of the vector f. The use of marginal likelihood as a method for calculating posterior probability of each model with given dimension is developed under a generalized conjugate prior. Then based on an appropriate loss function, a Bayes rule is developed by use of the posterior probabilities. It is shown that the approach is straightforward to specify distributionally and to imploement computationally, with output readily adopted for constructing required cirterion.

Count data are often overdispersed, and an appropriate test for the existence of the overdispersion is necessary. In this paper we derive a score test based on the extended quasi-likelihood and the pseudolikelihood after adjusting to the Bartlett factor. Also, we compare it with Levene (1960)'s F-type test suggested by Ganio and Schafer (1992).

Univariate F test is based on the multisample sphericity assumption. Robustness for tests of a main effect of the within-subjects factor was investigated when the assumptions of the onmibus F tests are violated in a split-plot design with one between-subjects factor using untrimmed data and trimmed data. The results indicate that when sample sizes are unbalanced and dispersion matrices are heterogeneous, the CIGA and the $CIGA_T$ tests better control Type I error rates than do the $F_T$test and the$\widetilde{\xi_T}$test.

In this paper, we consider a Bayesian model selection for the intraclass correlation coefficient in familiar data. In particular, we compare two nested models such as the independence and intraclass models using the reference prior. A criterion for testing is the Bayesian Reference Criterion by Bernardo (1999) and the Intrinsic Bayes Factor by Berger and Pericchi (1996). We provide numerical examples using simulation data sets for illustration.

1997년 IMF 경제위기 이후 우리나라의 금융산업은 급격한 변화를 겪고 있다. 지난 4년간 은행들을 비롯한 금융기관들이 대형화를 통한 경쟁력 강화를 위해 합병이 실시되었다. 은행합병의 궁극적인 목적은 합병에 의해 규모를 대형화하고 업무범위를 다양화하여 수익규모를 증대시키고 수익원을 다원화하는 한편, 경영자원의 투입과 활용을 효율화하고 시장지배력을 확충하여 경영성과를 제고함으로써 기업가치를 증진시키는데 있다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 1997년 이후에 본격적으로 이루어진 합병은행들을 대상으로 맘퀴스트 ${\ulcorner}$Malmquist${\lrcorner}$ 총요소생산성(Total Factor Productivity) 지수를 사용하여 그 성과를 측정해 보았다.
