  • Component-Based Development (CBD) is a reuse technology Providing enhancement in productivity through using the unit of component which is larger-grained than an object. However, reference model defining the elements and semantics of CBD component is standardized neither internationally nor in industrial. This yields interoperability and portability problem between CBD platforms, and presents burden of choosing appropriate model to developers. In this paper, we define meta-models for representative component reference models, and identify advantages, disadvantages, and features of each model through technical comparison of meta-models. Besides, through a proposal of essential component model containing common and essential elements that all component models must conform and a extended component model containing maximum elements and mechanisms, we can precisely assess candidate component models in practice.

  • The automated die design program is developed for cold forging of axisymmetric parts which are mainly produced by forward extrusion, backward extrusion, composite extrusion and upsetting. For this study, firstly classification of forged parts and investigation of die construction type usually employed in forging industry are carried out and the most proper type from several kinds of die construction is proposed as a standardized one. Based on the die design rules summarized in the references such as handbooks, technical papers, monthly journals, etc. the automated die design program was made using AutoLISP language available in AutoCAD software of personal computer. This program interactively runs for only input data, for example, forging process, shape of forged parts, type of punch, split of die insert and design of shrinkage rings and then displays details of drawings necessary to make a forging die. When a variety of forging processes and forged parts are tested to examine the validity of this program, it was confirmed to give good results applicable to the forging die design in press shop.

  • In this paper, we present result of embedded system based H.264/SVC decoder circuit design and system implementation. To deal with the standardized H.264/SVC functionalities, the presented SVC decoder system is consist of hardware engine design and software with ARM core processor. In order to improve the feasibility and applicability, and reduce the decoder complexity, the implemented system is constructed with only the consideration of IPPP structure scalability without using the full B-picture architecture. Finally, we will show the decoding image result using the designed H.264/SVC decoder system.

  • NFV is a technology that allows network services to be controlled and managed in software by separating various net work functions (NFs) from hardware devices in dedicated network equipment and implementing them in a high-performance general-purpose server. Therefore, standardized virtualization of network functions is one of the most important factors. However, until the introduction of NFV to provide commercial services, there are many technical issues to be solved such as guaranteeing performance, stability, support for multi-vendor environment, ensuring perfect interoperability, and linking existing virtual and non-virtual resources. In this paper, we propose a method to provide an end-to-end network virtualization service based on OSM R2 in KREONET.

  • Neuromagnetic fields were recorded from normal 10 subjects to investigate the time course of cerebral neural activation during the resolution of lexical ambiguity. All recordings were made using a whole-head 306-channel MEG (Elekta Neuromag TM Inc., $Vectorview^{TM}$). The observed activity was described by sLORETA (standardized low resolution brain electromagnetic tomography) techniques implemented in CURRY software (Neuroscan). In the results, bilaterally occipito-temporal lobe was activated at 170ms. At 250ms was associated with bilateral temporal lobe during ambiguous condition, whereas in left parietal, temporal lobe on unambiguous condition. The left frontal lobe, temporal lobe were activated at 350ms for all condition. At approximately 430ms, was activated in right frontal, temporal lobe on the resolving ambiguous condition, in left parietal lobe, right temporal lobe on the preserving ambiguous condition. In conclusion, the cerebral activations related to the resolving lexical ambiguity were right frontal lobe and the areas of mountainous ambiguity were left parietal lobe.

  • Background: The aim of this research was to perform an epidemiologic survey of esophageal cancer in Ardabil province. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional descriptive study, 661 patients diagnosed with EC were studied from March 2002 to May 2011 e. The necessary data were collected with a checklist from the documents in Ardabil Cancer Registry (ACR) and analyzed by statistical methods with SPSS.18 software. Results: Of the total new cases of EC registered in ARC during study period, 430 (65.1%) of patients were male with the male to female standard ratio was 1.18, with a statistically significant gender bias. The most common morphology of EC was squamous cell carcinoma (SCC, 68.8%) followed by adenocarcinoma (28.5%). It was observed that in most of patients, EC lesions were in the middle third of esophagus. In addition, most patients were rural and about 40% had smoking habits. The age-standardized incidence rate of cancers was 48.4 per 100,000 among females and males. The annual incidence rates in males and females was 7.1 and 6.7 per 100,000; respectively. Conclusions: Results showed that the prevalence and annual incidence rate of cancer in Ardabil province is lower than other areas of the country with a male predominance and a relatively high proprortion of adenocarcinomas.

  • Recently, The Analog TV has been being replaced by digital TV. This dues to the advantage of digital TV that sends data as well as audio/video stream to the receiver. But there are no standards or rules for processing the data. So, most companies or developers process the data in separate methods. This absence of standards or rules for processing the data causes many confusions and waste of time, money, man power. This Thesis proposes the solution of the problem not based on standardized respect but methodological respect. This solution is using XML in producing and playing the broadcasted multimedia contents and data. We believe that this solution saves much man power, time, money and increase reusability of expensive broadcasting contents.

  • The purpose of this research is to find som ways to model tree forms more efficiently in reference with surveying structural data and handling parameters in plant Editor of AccuRender, the AutoCAD-based rendering software adopting the procedural plant modeling technique. In case of modelling a new tree, because it is efficient to modify an existing tree data as a template, we attempted to classify 81 species' data from existing plant library including conifers and deciduous tree. According to the qualitative characteristics and quantitative parameters of geometrical and branching structure, 8 types of tree form were classified with factor and cluster analysis. Some critical aspects found in the distributions of standardized scores of parameters in each type were discussed for explaining the tree forms intuitively. For adaptability of the resulted classification and typical parameters, 10 species of tree were measured and modelled, and proved to be very similar to the real structures of tree forms. CG or CAD-based plant modelling technique would be recommended not only as a presentation tool but for planting design, landscape simulation and assessment.

  • Background: This study purposed to provide meaningful information for the accumulation of knowledge on coordinative locomotor training in patients with stroke. Design: Meta-analysis. Methods: This study collected articles which the coordinative locomotor training in patients with stroke. For systematic meta-analysis, 6 articles were finally selected after searching based on the PICOSD criteria. This meta-analysis was conducted according to PRISMA guidelines. Randomized controlled trials were included and the risk of bias was evaluated for each study. Pooled standardized mean differences were calculated using a random effects model. To extract the effect size of each study, the R 3.5.3 software was used. Results: The meta-analysis showed that a total effects size was 1.23 indicating that coordinative locomotor training for patients with stroke had a maximum effect size. Conclusion: A meta-analysis is warranted for further research to determine the effects of coordinative locomotor training in patients with stroke on muscle strength, walking and range of motion.
