  • Lately, cement mixed siliceous powder waterproofing coating has been used as a waterproofing material in the wet environment condition of an underground concrete structure. Underground is exposed to environmental influences such as pressure of ground water, pressure of soil. However, the quality standard for pressure (water pressure, earth pressure) is not specified in the specification of the cement mixed siliceous powder waterproofing coating. Therefore, in this study, the permeability test was carried out based on the assumption that the durability should be verified in consideration of the environmental aspects of the material in actual field. As a result of the test, the permeability was generated from the inorganic single type material, but it was caused by the sealing failure and the test error, and the permeability was not generated in most of the materials. The results of this study will be analyzed by reviewing the physical properties of the material, and the research direction will be resumed.

  • Concrete surfaces have weak surface strength due to bleeding and laitance, and problems such as peeling, cracking, and cracking may occur. In particular, underground parking lots can be said to be more vulnerable to peeling, breaking, and cracking if excessive loading of materials and equipment movement are not managed at the initial age after placing of concrete. Cracks, peeling, and cracking problems in slab concrete in underground parking lots of apartments can lead to leakage problems and affect finishing materials constructed on top of topping concrete, reducing the performance required for waterproof materials. Therefore, in this study, the bleeding and surface strength according to the standard of topping concrete and the use of admixture were reviewed to solve the crack, peeling, and cracking problems among the types of defects in underground parking lot slab concrete. As a result, it was derived that the optimal concrete compressive strength is 30MPa or more, and it is a reasonable performance design method to prohibit the substitution of admixtures.

기상자료를 이용한 콘크리트의 단계별 기온보정강도 적응기간 산정 (Period of the Strength Correction of the Concrete with the Temperature Level Based on Meteorological Data)

  • According to Korean Architectural Standard Specification (KASS) , at the design stage of the specified concrete strength, strength correction with each temperature level should be considered to secure required strength at 28 days even in low temperature condition, In this paper, the period for the strength correction at the stage of mixture design of the concrete using ordinary Portland cement(OPC) specified in KASS was determined with each region of south Korea based on the meteorological data of KMA(Korea meteorological administration) by applying KASS-5 regulation. In case of 28 days of strength control age, the period for strength correction with 6MPa was calculated to $50{\sim}60$ days and, with 3 MPa. to around 80 days. The period for the strength correction was shown to be decreased with the rise of altitude. The period to consider the delay of the strength development due to low temperature including the period of cold weather concrete was nearly 7 months around 1 year. References for determining the strength correction factors with each region of south Korea was provided in this paper. Further investigation of strength correction of the concrete containing blended cement is to studied.

산릉(山陵).영건의궤(營建儀軌) 분석을 통한 조선후기 관영 건축공사의 석회에 관한 연구 - 석회의 생산.조달.적용을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Lime of Government Constructions Based on the Analysis of Construction Reports in the Late of Joseon Dynasty(17~19c) - Emphasized on the production, provision, and application of lime -)

  • The history to have used lime in building construction was much long without distinction of the East or the West. The ancient nations of korean peninsula had used lime as construction material. The witness was discovered in the kings' tombs of fifth century. In the Joseon dynasty(15~19c), what applied several developed lime compounds to the kings' tombs have been recorded in 'Sanleong-Uigwe(山陵儀軌)' & 'Yeonggeon-Uigwe(營建儀軌)' of those days documents. Therefore, this paper is to examine the whole procedures from the product and provision of lime to its application through those days documents. Following conclusions have been reached through the study. Three lime compounds to be developed for the kings' tombs was extendedly applied to residential government buildings step by step within the current of time. These compounds to be used in the kings' tombs of the Joseon dynasty had been correlated to those of the ancient nations, which were nations of korean peninsula in narrow range, chinese and orient nations in broad range. These compounds have possibilities of development as the environmental-friendly building material. And these compounds should provide a standard specification for conservation & restoration of the traditional and cultural properties. I could confirm that the whole procedures had not been developed within limited space-time of the specified nation & period, but within interactions of the nations & periods. In the periods which disturb its interaction, the expansion of productivity in building construction was interfered.

BIM 기반 비정형 건축물 패널화 모델 생성 방법에 관한 연구 (BIM-Based Generation of Free-form Building Panelization Model)

  • With the development of 3D-based CAD (Computer Aided Design), attempts at freeform building design have expanded to small and medium-sized buildings in Korea. However, a standardized system for continuous utilization of shape data and BIM conversion process implemented with 3D-based NURBS is still immature. Without accurate review and management throughout the Freeform building project, interference between members occurs and the cost of the project increases. This is very detrimental to the project. To solve this problem, we proposed a continuous utilization process of 3D shape information based on BIM parameters. Our process includes algorithms such as Auto Split, Panel Optimization, Excel extraction based on shape information, BIM modeling through Adaptive Component, and BIM model utilization method using ID Code. The optimal cutting reference point was calculated and the optimal material specification was derived using the Panel Optimization algorithm. With the Adaptive Component design methodology, a BIM model conforming to the standard cross-section details and specifications was uniformly established. The automatic BIM conversion algorithm of shape data through Excel extraction created a BIM model without omission of data based on the optimized panel cutting reference point and cutting line. Finally, we analyzed how to use the BIM model built for automatic conversion. As a result of the analysis, in addition to the BIM utilization plan in the general construction stage such as visualization, interference review, quantity calculation, and construction simulation, an individual management plan for the unit panel was derived through ID data input. This study suggested an improvement process by linking the existing research on atypical panel optimization and the study of parameter-based BIM information management method. And it showed that it can solve the problems of existing Freeform building project.

현장실태를 고려한 국내 터널공사 공사비산정기준 개선 (The Improvement of Tunnel Construction Cost Standards Considering the Site Conditions in Korea)

  • 터널공사는 국내 공공건설공사의 중요한 부분을 차지하고 있으며, 다양한 장비와 기술의 개발로 터널공사 시공방법이 발전하였고 현장에 적용되고 있으나 공사비산정기준은 아직까지 현장실태를 제대로 반영하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현장실태를 반영한 공사비산정기준 수립을 위하여 관련 문헌조사 및 현장조사를 통해 합리적인 터널공사비 산정기준을 제시하였다. 먼저 현재 건설공사 표준품셈에서 정하는 터널공사비 산정기준의 각 항목들을 분석하고 현장조사를 통한 실제 현장시공의 실태와 비교 분석하였다. 주요 조사내용으로는 암판정 및 내공측량, 천공속도, 버력처리 장비조합 등 싸이클 시간과 관련된 작업 시간에 대한 조사와, 굴착 투입인원에 대한 현장별 적용실태를 확인하였다. 현장 조사결과를 바탕으로 터널굴착 1발파당 싸이클 시간, 천공기계의 천공속도, 버력처리 장비조합, 터널굴착 투입 작업인원에 대한 개선안을 제시하였다. 싸이클 시간의 경우 천공준비 시간에 암판정 및 내공측량 시간을 반영하였으며, 천공기계 속도는 컴퓨터 점보드릴의 천공속도를 반영하였다. 버력처리는 상차장비의 규격을 현장 시공실태에 맞추어 개정하였으며, 터널굴착 투입 작업조를 현장실태에 맞추어 개선안을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 현장 시공실태를 반영한 공사비산정기준이 제시되었으며, 터널공사 적정공사비 확보에 일조할 것으로 기대된다.

문화재 수리의 조경분야 공종 분류에 관한 연구 (A Study on Landscaping Repair Work Classifications in Cultural Heritage Industry)

  • 본 연구는 문화재 수리에서 조경분야의 독자성을 확보하고 업역을 정립하기 위한 기준이 되는 조경수리 공종 분류 제시를 목적으로 하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 현재 문화재수리 표준시방서는 식재공사 중심으로 조경수리 공종을 명시하였고 품셈은 조경분야를 포함하지 않고 있다. 다만 건설산업의 조경공사 시방서와 품셈을 준용하도록 하여 문화재 수리에서 조경수리 공종이 구체적으로 무엇인지 알기 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 실제 시행된 문화재수리 사업의 내용을 토대로 조경수리 공종을 파악하였다. 과거 1961년부터 1980년에는 수목식재뿐만 아니라 다양한 조경시설도 조경수리로 명시되었고 이 공종들 모두 현재 건설산업의 조경공사 공종으로도 정립되었음을 확인하였다. 또한, 2018년부터 2020년의 3년간 문화재를 대상으로 한 실시설계용역 입찰공고서에 명시된 공종 중 건축물보수 및 단청, 식물보호, 보존처리 분야 공종을 제외하고 종합한 결과 총 20개의 공종이 확인되었다. 20개 공종 모두 건설산업의 조경공사 공종에 해당하였다. 따라서 조경수리 공종은 건설산업 조경공사 공종 분류를 토대로 하되 문화재 공간의 특수성을 고려하여 부지조성 및 대지조형, 식재공사, 시설물공사, 포장공사, 생태조경공사, 식생유지관리의 총 6개로 분류하였다. 국내 산업의 한 분야로 조경이 정착해가던 시기에 이미 다양한 조경시설도 건축분야 수리가 아닌 조경수리로 시행되었으므로 이 시설을 모두 포함하여 조경수리 공종이 문화재 시방서에 구체적으로 명시되어야 할 것이다.

FACTOR ANALYSIS ON CONTRACTOR COMPETITION STRATEGY: A HONG KONG STUDY

  • The development of construction industry has led to the increase in the number of criteria imposed by project clients for selecting contractors. For example, clients often request tenderers to satisfy various conditions such as tight programme, financial strength, managerial ability, relevant work experiences, technical strength, high workmanship standard, safety requirement, quality specification, and yet others. This trend has attracted research interests of devising various methods for helping project clients to assess contractors' bids. For example, in recent development, the Works Bureau of the Hong Kong Government has introduced two mechanisms in tender evaluation for various public work contracts, namely, the Marking Scheme effective from June 2002 and the Formula Approach effective from November 2002 [1], [2]. These approaches evaluate a contractor's tender by considering collectively its tender price and performance attributes, the latter including contractor experience, past performance, technical resources and technical content of his proposal. The tender with the highest combined price and performance score (CPPS) will be normally recommended for acceptance. It appears, however, that there is little existing research in helping contractors to identify a competition strategy that enables the contractor to offer his most competitive bid collectively taking into account his resource capacities and project client's multiple performance criteria. This paper examines the factors affecting contractor's competition strategy to compete for works in Hong Kong. The understanding about the factors will contribute to identifying effective competition strategy. The data used for the analysis were collected from Hong Kong construction industry. The research findings may provide valuable references for investigating effective competition strategies in other construction industries outside the region.

보통 포틀랜드 콘크리트 기반 교면포장 재료 성능 평가 (Performance Evaluation of Bridge Deck Materials based on Ordinary Portland Cement Concrete)

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to develop bridge deck concrete materials based on ordinary Portland cement concrete, and to evaluate the applicability of the developed materials through material properties tests. METHODS : For field implementation, raw material (cement, fine aggregate, and coarse aggregate) properties, fresh concrete properties (slump and air content), strength (compressive, flexural and bond strength) gain, and durability (freeze-thaw resistance, scaling resistance, and rapid chloride penetrating resistance) performance were evaluated in the laboratory. RESULTS : For the selected binder content of $410kg/m^3$, W/B = 0.42, and S/a = 0.48, the following material performance results were obtained. Considering the capacity of the deck finisher, a minimum slump of 150 mm was required. At least 6 % of air content was obtained to resist freeze-thaw damage. In terms of strength, 51.28 MPa of compressive strength, 7.41 MPa of flexural strength, and 2.56 MPa of bond strength at 28 days after construction were obtained. A total of 94.9 % of the relative dynamic modulus of elasticity after 300 cycles of freeze-thaw resistance testing and $0.0056kg/m^2$ of weight loss in a scaling resistance test were measured. However, in a chloride ion penetration resistance test, the result of 3,356 Coulomb, which exceeds the threshold value of the standard specification (1000 Coulomb at 56 days) was observed. CONCLUSIONS : Instead of using high-performance modified bridge deck materials such as latex or silica fume, we developed an optimum mix design based on ordinary Portland cement concrete. A test construction was carried out at ramp bridge B (bridge length = 111 m) in Gim Jai City. Immediately after the concrete was poured, the curing compound was applied, and then wet mat curing was applied for 28 days. Considering the fact that cracks did not occur during the monitoring period, the applicability of the developed material is considered to be high.

아파트 소규모 인테리어공사의 공종별 분류와 보할의 분석 (Analysis of the Work Breakdown Structure and Cost-Rate for Small Interior Works in Apartment)

  • 본 연구는 부산에 있는 아파트 소규모 인테리어공사 6가지 평형의 실적자료 200개를 대상으로 하여 건축공사와 소규모 인테리어공사의 분류체계를 비교하고, 일반적인 소규모 인테리어공사의 공종별 공사비를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. (1) 아파트 소규모 인테리어공사비는 1,000~1,500만원 범위인 79.2M2(24PY)과 105.6M2(32PY)에 대해서 주로 이루어지므로 이러한 2가지 평형에 대한 자재비, 노무비에 대한 심층적인 원가분석이 필요하다. (2) 아파트 소규모 인테리어공사는 일반적인 건축공사의 분류체계와 다르게 마감공사가 주로 진행되므로 건축공사표준시방서의 22개의 대분류와는 다른 9개의 분류체계로 구분하여 적용하는 것이 타당하다. (3) 소규모 인테리어공사의 각각의 평형별 평균공사금액과 공종보할을 검토한 결과, 24평형(24PY)의 평균공사금액은 약 1,050만원이고 공종별 보할은 금속공사 12.8%, 수장공사 17.8%, 화장실공사 19.7%로 분석되었으며, 싱크 가구공사가 22.1%로 가장 높은 보할을 나타내었다. 또한, 32평형의 평균공사금액은 약 1,250만원이며, 공종별 공사보할은 수장공사가 28.6%로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 28평형이상에서는 수장공사의 공종보할이 가장 큰 것으로 분석되었다.
