This study intended to test the structure of the latent factor of a subjective happiness scale and the stability of invariance across groups of students' classifications (gender and students' status). In the large, non-clinical sample (619), students completed the subjective happiness scale. The (CFA) confirmatory factor analysis was used to investigate the factor-structure of the measure, and multiple-group confirmatory factor analysis (MGCFA) model was used to test the stability of invariance across groups of students classifications. The findings of the CFA indicated support for the original one-factor model. Additional analyses of the MGCFA method support the measurement (configural, metric and strong) invariant and practical invariant components of this model. There was an invariant across gender. There was partially invariant across groups of students' statuses. The scale exists in both groups to assess the same concepts of (single and married), excluding Items 3 and 4. Given that this study is the first investigation for the structure of the subjective happiness scale.

This study intended to test the structure of the latent factor of an effectiveness scale and the stability of invariance across groups of students' classifications (gender and levels of education). In the large, non-clinical sample (850), students completed the effectiveness scale. The (CFA) confirmatory factor analysis was used to investigate the factor-structure of the measure, and multiple-group confirmatory factor analysis (MGCFA) model was used to test the stability of invariance across groups of students' classifications. The findings of the CFA indicated support for the original four-factor model. Additional analyses of the MGCFA method support the measurement (configural, metric and strong) invariant and practical invariant components of this model. There was an invariant across gender. There was partially invariant across groups of levels of education. The scale exists in groups of levels of education assess the same concepts of, excluding Items 15 and 10. In this paper, we deal with random attractors for dynamical systems forced by a deterministic noise. These kind of systems are modeled as skew products where the dynamics of the forcing process are described by the base transformation. Here, we consider skew products over the Bernoulli shift with the unit interval fiber. We study the geometric structure of maximal attractors, the orbit stability and stability of mixing of these skew products under random perturbations of the fiber maps. We show that there exists an open set U in the space of such skew products so that any skew product belonging to this set admits an attractor which is either a continuous invariant graph or a bony graph attractor. These skew products have negative fiber Lyapunov exponents and their fiber maps are non-uniformly contracting, hence the non-uniform contraction rates are measured by Lyapnnov exponents. Furthermore, each skew product of U admits an invariant ergodic measure whose support is contained in that attractor. Additionally, we show that the invariant measure for the perturbed system is continuous in the Hutchinson metric.
The biosphere of the earth is not only about to overpass the limit to meet the food demand of the world but also the stability of its food production has been also jeopardized by the disasters and pests, especially by the unpredictable weather disasters. In addition the agricultural and industrial pollution against biosphere aggravates the unstability of agricultural production and constitutes a threat in securing the food of the world. In Korea the yield level of crops has been greatly enhanced by the improved agrotechnologies and varietal improvement, but the yield variability due to unfavorable weather events and pests remained unchanged with the change in time. Among weather-related disasters the drought and flood damages has occurred most frequently and impacted most greatly on the agricultural production and its stability. During last decade (1970-l980) the rice production experienced the average annual loss of 0.544 million metric ton which was composed of 0.21 million M/T by climatic disaster, 0.21 million M/T by disease and 0.12 million M/T by insects, and the annual loss of upland crop production from climatic disasters amounted to 0.06 million metric tons. Especially in 1980, the global climatic disasters due to cold or hot temperature endangered the agricultural production all over the world and also the rice production of Korea recorded the unprecedented yield reduction of about 30 percent due to cool summer weather. Nowadays, the unusual weather conditions are prevaling throughout the world, and agro-meteologists predict that the unpredictable cool summer and drought will often attack the rice and other crops in 1980's. To meet the coming weather unstability and to secure the stable crop production, multilateral efforts should be rendered. Therefore, the Korea Society of Crop Science, which commemorates the 20th anniversary of its founding, prepared the symposium on Meteological Stress in Crop Production and its Countermeasures to discuss the decrease in agricultural production due to weather-related disasters and to devise the multilateral counter-measures against the unfavorable weather events.

Multicast Mesh based Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks (MANETs) provide efficient data transmission in energy restraint areas without a fixed infrastructure. In this paper, the authors present an improved version of protocol SLIMMER developed by them earlier, and name it SLIMMER-SN. Most mesh-based protocols suffer from redundancy; however, the proposed protocol controls redundancy through the concept of forwarding nodes. The proposed protocol uses remaining energy of a node to decide its energy efficiency. For measuring stability, a new metric called Stability of Node (SN) has been introduced which depends on transmission range, node density and node velocity. For data transfer, a weighted cost function selects the most energy efficient nodes / most stable nodes or a weighted combination of both. This makes the node selection criteria more dynamic. The protocol works in two steps: (1) calculating SN and (2) using SN value in the weighted cost function for selection of nodes. The study compared the proposed protocol, with other mesh-based protocols PUMA and SLIMMER, based on packet delivery ratio (PDR), throughput, end-to-end delay and average energy consumption under different simulation conditions. Results clearly demonstrate that SLIMMER-SN outperformed both PUMA and SLIMMER.
The effects of taping on the use of such measures for prevention have already been comprehensively described in the literature. However, few studies have analyzed ground reaction forces and postural stability with functional ankle instability subject during dynamic activities with ankle taping The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of ankle taping on ground reaction force and postural stability during jump landing. Fourteen players who has ankle instability were participated in this study. we used vicon and force platform. The application of taping who has ankle instability decreased DF and inversion angular velocity and peak vertical ground reaction force during landing. It also improved A-P cop, M-L cop in stability. The findings of this study support the use of taping as part of injury prevention for subject with functional ankle instability in clinical setting.

To determine 3D(three-dimensional) positions using a stereo-camera in close-range photogrammetry, camera calibration to determine not only the interior orientation parameters of each camera but also the relative orientation parameters between the cameras must be preceded. As time passes after performing camera calibration, in the case of non-metric cameras, the interior and relative orientation parameters may change due to internal instability or external factors. In this study, to evaluate the stability of the stereo-camera, not only the stability of two single cameras and a stereo-camera were analyzed, but also the three-dimensional position accuracy was evaluated using checkpoints. As a result of evaluating the stability of two single cameras through three camera calibration experiments over four months, the root mean square error was ±0.001mm, and the root mean square error of the stereo-camera was ±0.012mm ~ ±0.025mm, respectively. In addition, as the results of distance accuracy using the checkpoint were ±1mm, the interior and relative orientation parameters of the stereo-camera were considered stable over that period.

The stability analysis method of an unsaturated slope considering the suction stress was performed on the infinite sand slope. During drying and wetting processes, the Soil-Water Characteristics Curve (SWCC) of the sand with the relative density of 75% was measured using the automated SWCC apparatus. Also, the Suction Stress Characteristics Curve (SSCC) was estimated. Based on these results, the stability analysis of an unsaturated infinite slope was carried out considering the slope angle, the weathering zone and the relative change in friction angle as a soil depth. According to the result of slope stability analysis, the safety factors of slope were less than 1 when the slope angles were more than $50^{\circ}$. The safety factors of slope tend to increase with increasing the depth from the ground surface. Especially, the safety factors have a tendency to increase and decrease above near the ground water level due to the suction stress. The maximum safety factor of slope in this analysis was occurred at the Air Entry Value (AEV) of drying process. The influence range of suction stress above the ground water level can be found out and can be defined as the funicular zone which means the metric suction range from the air entry point to the point of residual volumetric water content.
We introduce a new method to construct wormholes without adopting exotic matters in Einstein-Born-Infeld gravity with a negative cosmological constant. Contrary to the conventional method, the throat of the wormhole is located at the point where the metric solutions are joined smoothly. Thus, exotic matters are not needed to sustain the throat. We consider the behavior of a minimally coupled scalar field to study the stability of the new wormhole. If we define the quasinormal mode of the scalar field as the purely ingoing flux at the throat of the wormhole, the stability of wormhole can be discussed in analogy with the argument that we use for the stability of a black hole. Because an analytic solution can not be found, we suggest a formalism to find quasinormal modes numerically. The crucial difference from the black hole case is that the coefficient of the second-order derivative term of the radial equation is expanded from n = -1, which is contrary to the black hole case where it is expanded from n = 0.

Topological Data Analysis (TDA), a relatively new field of data analysis, has proved very useful in a variety of applications. The main persistence tool from TDA is persistent homology in which data structure is examined at many scales. Representations of persistent homology include persistence barcodes and persistence diagrams, both of which are not straightforward to reconcile with traditional machine learning algorithms as they are sets of intervals or multisets. The problem of faithfully representing barcodes and persistent diagrams has been pursued along two main avenues: kernel methods and vectorizations. One vectorization is the Betti sequence, or Betti curve, derived from the persistence barcode. While the Betti sequence has been used in classification problems in various applications, to our knowledge, the stability of the sequence has never before been discussed. In this paper we show that the Betti sequence is unstable under the 1-Wasserstein metric with regards to small perturbations in the barcode from which it is calculated. In addition, we propose a novel stabilized version of the Betti sequence based on the Gaussian smoothing seen in the Stable Persistence Bag of Words for persistent homology. We then introduce the normalized cumulative Betti sequence and provide numerical examples that support the main statement of the paper.
