Study on the electrical properties WO$_3$-doped SrTiO$_3$ ceramics (WO$_3$를 첨가한 SrTiO$_3$ 세라믹스의 전기적 성질에 관한 연구)

  • The effect of WO$_3$ addition and sintering condition on the electrical properties of SrTiO$_3$ceramic have been investigated. Resistivity and capacitance of grains and grain boundaries were obtained by applying impedance spectroscopy. From the result it could be concluded that the temperature dependance of capacitance of WO$_3$doped specimens were influenced directly by the variation of grain boundary capacitance. It was also found that the dispersion frequency increased as the degree of reduction of the specimen increased. The dispersion frequency characteristics showed discernably that the resistivity of the specimen varied with WO$_3$ content. The dielectric properties were influenced directly by the reduction of the specimens. The dielectric constant of grain boundaries of BL capacitor could be obtained by Cole-Cole plot and was influeneced by the amount of WO$_3$ added.

Structural Modulation in the 2212 Phase of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O Superconductors (Bi계 산화물 초전도체 2212상에서의 구조변조)

  • 고상반응법(solid-state reaction)으로 산화물 초전도체 Bi$_{2+x}$ Sr$_{1.8}$ $CaCu_2$$O_{8+\delta}$(-0.2$\leq$x$\leq$0.2)을 제조하여 조성변화에 따른 산소량과 Bi 이온의 하전가(valence)가 구조변조의 주기에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 2212상의 단일상 고용한계는 -0.1$\leq$x$\leq$0.1 영역이었다. 이 영역에서 x의 증가에 따라 격자상수 c는 감소를 보이며, 온셋 임계온도 Tc$^{on}$ 과 산소량은 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 또한, Bi 이온의 하전기와 구조변조의 주기는 단일상 고용한계 영역 내에서 x의 증가에 따라 감소하는 경향을 보이고 있다. 구조변조의 주기는 산소량이 증가함에 따라 감소하고 Bi 이온의 하전가 증가에 따라 증가함을 보였다. 즉, 산소의 절대량과 Bi 이온의 하전가에 따라 구조변조의 주기가 변화하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, the microstructure and the dielectric properties of the Sr$_{1-x}$ Ca$_{x}$TiO$_3$(0$\leq$$\chi$$\leq$0.2) -based grain boundary layer ceramics were investigated. The specimens were sintered from 142$0^{\circ}C$ to 152$0^{\circ}C$ for 4hr. in $N_2$ gas. The 2nd phase formed by thermal diffusing from the surface lead to a very high apparent dielectric constant, $\varepsilon$$_{r}$>50000. The structural properties of the specimens were studied by X-ray diffraction and SEM, EDX. All specimens exhibited cubic structure. Increasing content of Ca, the peak intensity were decreased.ed.d.

  • In this paper, the structural and electrical properties of the Sr$_{1-x}$ Ca$_{x}$TiO$_3$ (0$\leq$x$\leq$0.2) (0$\leq$r$\leq$0.2)-based grain boundary layer ceramics were investigated by X-ray, SEM and V-I system. Increasing the Ca content, the average grain size and the lattice constant were decreased. The relative density of all specimens was >96%.   • In this paper, the $Sr_{1-x}Ca_{x}TiO_{3}(0{\leq}x{\leq}0.2)$ 2)-based grain boundary layer ceramics were fabricated to measured dielectric properties and voltage-current properties. The sintering temperature and time were $1420\sim1520^{\circ}C$, 4hours, in $N_{2}$ gas, respectively. The structural and the dielectric properties were investigated by SEM, X-ray, HP4194A and K6517. The 2nd phase formed by thermal diffusion from the surface lead to a very high apparent dielectric constant, $\varepsilon_r$ > 50000.   • The effect of Ba substitution for Sr on the lattice parameters and the temperature dependence of the thermoelectric power and electrical resistivity has been investigated for Y(Sr$_{2-x}$Ba$_x$)Cu$_{2.7}$Mo$_{0.3}$O$_z$ (x=0${\sim}$2.0). Both a and c lattice parameters increase as the Ba content, x increases. The correlation between Tc and the carrier concentration estimated from the thermoelectric power data indicates that the change of hole concentration is negligible for x ${\le}$ 1.0 in contrast to the large change for x > 1.

  • $(Ba_{0.6}Sr_{0.4}Ca_{x})TiO_{3}+yZrO_{2}$ wt% (x=0.10, 0.15, 0.20, y=0.5~3.0) specimens were fabricated by the mixed-oxide method and then the structural and dielectric properties as a function of the composition ratio and $ZrO_2$ contents were studied. All BSCT specimens showed dense and homogeneous structure without the presence of the seconds phase. The Curie temperature and the dielectric constant at room temperature decreased with increasing the Ca/Ba composition ratio and $ZrO_2$ content. The BSCT(50/40/10) specimens showed the excellent tunability property. And the tunability were increased with increasing the contents of $ZrO_2$.

Optimization of some major factors in cigarette paper manufacturing using response surface analysis (반응표면 분석방법에 의한 궐련지 제조 주요인자의 최적화 연구)

  • 10. Three major factors, freeness, filler and blend ratio that exercised considerable influence on physical properties of cigarette papers were chosen for the sake of their optimization at this experiment. An optimization of those above factors in paper manufacturing was investigated using response surface analysis. Optimum beating degree for Kenaf, Flax and NBKP showed around 72。SR, 68。SR and 85 SR, respectively, in considering of five quality index such as porosity, tensile strength, stretch, whiteness and opacity. The best blending ration of reciprocal pulps treated under optimum beating degree were diversified and combination scope of the bast fiber (Kenaf, Flax) to the NBKP was range from 30% to 65% in case of the Kenaf, from 25 to 40% in Flax at the same receipe. The optimum range of calcium carbonate content revealed 25%~30% in Kenaf mixed NBKP and 24%~31% in Flax mixed NBKP.

Distribution and characteristics of radioactivity$(^{232}Th,\;^{226}Ra,\;^{40}K,\;^{137}Cs\;and\;^{90}Sr)$ and radiation in Korea

  • The concentrations of natural and artificial radionuclides in soil and gamma ray dose rate in air at 233 locations in Korea have been determined. The national mean concentrations of $^{232}Th,\;^{226}Ra,\;^{40}K,\;^{137}Cs\;and\;^{90}Sr$ in soil were $60{\pm}31,\;33{\pm}14,\;673{\pm}238,\;35{\pm}9.3\;and\;5.0{\pm}3.4\;Bq\;kg^{-1}$, respectively. The mean gamma-ray dose rate at 1 m above the ground was $7918\;nGy\;h^{-1}$. $^{137}Cs$ concentration had highly significant correlation with organic matter content and cation exchange capacity. $^{90}Sr$ concentration had slightly coherent with pH. The results have been compared with other global radioactivity and radiation measurements.
