Social media play a significant role in communicating information across the globe, connecting with loved ones, getting the news, communicating ideas, etc. However, a group of people uses social media to spread fake information, which has a bad impact on society. Therefore, minimizing fake news and its detection are the two primary challenges that need to be addressed. This paper presents a multi-modal deep learning technique to address the above challenges. The proposed modal can use and process visual and textual features. Therefore, it has the ability to detect fake information from visual and textual data. We used EfficientNetB0 and a sentence transformer, respectively, for detecting counterfeit images and for textural learning. Feature embedding is performed at individual channels, whilst fusion is done at the last classification layer. The late fusion is applied intentionally to mitigate the noisy data that are generated by multi-modalities. Extensive experiments are conducted, and performance is evaluated against state-of-the-art methods. Three real-world benchmark datasets, such as MediaEval (Twitter), Weibo, and Fakeddit, are used for experimentation. Result reveals that the proposed modal outperformed the state-of-the-art methods and achieved an accuracy of 86.48%, 82.50%, and 88.80%, respectively, for MediaEval (Twitter), Weibo, and Fakeddit datasets.

Lumpy skin disease (LSD) is one of the most important emerging transboundary diseases. Recently, LSD has emerged in many countries in the northern hemisphere. The LSD virus has a huge genome and is highly resistant to environmental conditions. The virus is also host-specific and large ruminants, such as cattle and domestic water buffalo, are particularly susceptible. In addition, wild ruminants can serve as potential reservoirs for spreading the LSD virus. The emergence might be related to climate change in various regions because LSD is an arthropod-borne infectious disease. This disease causes enormous economic losses, such as leather damage, decreased milk production, abortion, and death in infected ruminants. The economic importance of LSD in the bovine industry has forced countries to develop and implement control strategies against the disease. With the recent global spread and the economic impact, LSD will be discussed intensively. In addition, effective preventive measures are suggested based on the presence or absence of LSD outbreaks.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of quality management system requirements, which are techniques for management innovation to secure competitiveness of small and medium-sized manufacturers, on management performance as economic uncertainties increase and non-face-to-face culture spread. To this end, a survey was conducted on small and medium-sized manufacturing companies that maintain ISO certification. As a result of the study, first, it was found that planning had a positive effect on management performance among the requirements of the quality management system. Second, it was found that improvement among the requirements of the quality management system had a positive effect on management performance. Third, in the relationship between the requirements of the quality management system and management performance, leadership was found to have a complete mediating effect on planning. This means that the CEO plays a large role in establishing strategies for companies to gain a competitive advantage and will contribute to establishing all measures.

Sensor faults in nuclear power plant instrumentation have the potential to spread negative effects from wrong signals that can cause an accident misdiagnosis by plant operators. To detect sensor faults and make accurate accident diagnoses, prior studies have developed a supervised learning-based sensor fault detection model and an accident diagnosis model with faulty sensor isolation. Even though the developed neural network models demonstrated satisfactory performance, their diagnosis performance should be reevaluated considering real-time connection. When operating in real-time, the diagnosis model is expected to indiscriminately accept fault data before receiving delayed fault information transferred from the previous fault detection model. The uncertainty of neural networks can also have a significant impact following the sensor fault features. In the present work, a pilot study was conducted to connect two models and observe actual outcomes from a real-time application with an integrated system. While the initial results showed an overall successful diagnosis, some issues were observed. To recover the diagnosis performance degradations, additive logics were applied to minimize the diagnosis failures that were not observed in the previous validations of the separate models. The results of a case study were then analyzed in terms of the real-time diagnosis outputs that plant operators would actually face in an emergency situation.

This paper investigates how blockchain technology which is an innovation technology of the 4th Industrial Revolution has been settled in international trade. FinTech technology is expected to expand because a new remittance method for replacing the letter of credit has been introduced. In addition, since the purchase of individual customers makes international trade increase rapidly, more convenient FinTech technology will stand in a spotlight. Thus, we confirm that cryptocurrency use will increase in order to maintain stability and reduce risk in international transactions. However, since the legal standing of blockchain technology is now insufficient, the slow spread of FinTech technology will be made for a while.

The pandemic situation caused by COVID-19 has a large and small impact on our society socially, economically, psychologically, and other aspects. In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, various countries, including Korea, have entered into long-term home care and distance learning systems. However, distance learning experiments conducted in many countries have raised whether face-to-face education can be replaced by distance learning. Therefore, in this study, public opinion, social perception, and field trends were analyzed based on media reports on distance learning. For this purpose, 2,600 articles from 11 newspapers and four broadcasters related to distance learning were collected in this study. Based on this data, keyword trend analysis, topic modeling analysis, sentiment analysis were performed.

Purpose: This study aims to explore the distribution of work-life integration against COVID-19 and its Implications by analyzing remote work in Switzerland. Research design, data and methodology: The study performed literature review and descriptive analyses using various data such as perception surveys, statistics, and related documents. Results: The infectious disease was a turning point for many people in Switzerland by changing where and how people want to live. Since the COVID-19 crisis demonstrated that disease could be spread by proximity, negative perception about urban areas expanded, and rural areas are increasingly preferred due to fresh and clean air and a more ecological lifestyle. In addition, increased remote work, a change brought about by COVID-19, has subsequently led to changes in household habits and needs. Distance from work is no longer an important factor when someone chooses where to live. A trend is now emerging where households wanting to improve the quality of life leave the city center and move to the suburbs. Conclusions: Paradoxically, such trend accelerated by the COVID-19 crisis has an unintendedly positive impact on the distribution of work-life integration across society while providing more flexibility in terms of place and time management and lowering the burden on roads and infrastructure.

This study investigates the impact of Hallyu human brands on consumer behavior, given the increasing influence of Hallyu human brands due to their global spread and the limited academic discussions surrounding this topic. The research examines the role of self-congruity, human brand attachment, and brand equity factors. An online survey was conducted, targeting Chinese consumers who are highly engaged with the Korean Wave. Data from 403 respondents were analyzed. The results reveal that both ideal and actual self-congruity with the Hallyu human brand significantly affected attachment to the brand, while social self-congruity was found to be insignificant. Furthermore, attachment to Hallyu human brands positively influenced brand recognition, perceived quality, brand image, and brand loyalty.

Due to the restriction of movement caused by the Corona epidemic and the expansion of the "big face" through human distance, the "unmanned system" based on artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things has been widely used in modern life. "Self-driving," one of the transportation systems based on artificial technology, has taken the initiative in the transportation system as the spread of Corona has begun. Self-driving technology eliminates unnecessary contact and saves time and manpower, which can significantly impact current and future transportation. Accidents may occur, however, due to the performance of self-driving technology during transportation albeit the U.S. allows ordinary people to drive automatically through experimental operations, and the product liability law will resolve the dispute. Self-driving has become popular in the U.S. after the experimental stage, and in the event of a self-driving accident, product liability should be applied to protect drivers from complicated self-driving disputes. The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether disputes caused by defects in ordinary cars can be resolved through arbitration through U.S. precedents and to investigate whether disputes caused by defects in autonomous cars can be arbitrated.

Purpose: Research focuses on private universities' professional education in a competitive educational environment. Due to increased competition in the higher education industry, private universities are under pressure to improve their marketing strategies and better understand their prospective students. This study intends to investigate how information sources are used and modified by Indonesian university students when making decisions. Research design, data and methodology: This research is a case study in Riau province, which includes active university students registered in the government database. Data was collected using a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms to students at a private university, and 164 students completed the questionnaire. Results: The results show that the influence of technical quality, functional quality, and image cannot affect word of mouth, and technical quality cannot affect consumer attitudes. The results show that the distribution of high service quality and high image will encourage people to share their experiences by word of mouth to build evaluation attachment in college selection. and found that a good campus image has no direct impact on word of mouth. The spread of an excellent campus image only attracts students to evaluate it. The more talk about the distribution of service quality, the higher the decision to choose the service.
