발전소용 다중 스프레이형 과열저감기의 열성능 및 안정성에 관한 연구 (Studies on the heat performance and stability for multi spray type desuperheater of the power plant)

  • The important use of the desuperheater(multi spray type) changes the superheated steam into the saturated steam. It is more efficient and suitable for using the process. Also, it is more convenient and stable regarding the process temperature control. In this study, transient and quasi-static analysis were done for the evaluation of structural integrity of the multi spray type desuperheater of the power plant. Computational analysis was used to calculate the thermal stress, and the vibration test was done to evaluate the structural stability. This paper is verified by analysis that water spray nozzle(${\phi}=28mm$) shows the best ability. The results show that structural stability of the desuperheater under the real operating condition was proven.

Preparation of Granule Powders for Thermal Spray Coating by Utilization of Pyrophyllite Minerals

  • Pyrophyllite granule powders for thermal spray coating were successfully prepared through spray drying process. To produce a stable slurry, commercial pyrophyllite powder of $45{\mu}m$ in size was ball-milled for reduction of the size to $2{\sim}3{\mu}m$ and a dispersant was added to control the viscosity. Dense and spherical granules (average granule size : $59{\mu}m$) were prepared under conditions of 12,500 rpm for rotation velocity of the atomizer and 100 cps for slurry viscosity. The granules were then heat treated at $1,200^{\circ}C$ for proper handling strength and flow properties. The final granules had an apparent density of $0.725g/cm^3$ and a flow rate of 2.5 g/sec, which represent excellent properties to be used as the granule powder for thermal spray coatings.

  • A measurement method for the deposition amount of spray, using tracer and spectrophotometer was developed. Food colors was selected as tracer, because it was cheep and easily treatable. Using NIRS(Near Infrared Reflection Spectrophotometer), regression curves between absorbance spectrum and concentration of the tracer were obtained. Yellow food colors showed the peak of spectrum at 452nm, and absorbance of peak showed a tendency to increase as concentration increased. Also, the possibility of concentration control by heating was investigated.

  • This paper presents the method for three-dimensional micro structure with photoresist spray coating system. The system consists of a high temperature rotational chuck, ultrasonic spray nozzle module, angle control module and nozzle moving module. Spray coating system is effected by several parameters such as the solid contents, the dispensed volume, the scanning speed of the spray nozzle and the wafer of dimension. The photoresist (AZ 1512) has been coated on the three-dimensional micro structure by spray coating system and the characteristics have been evaluated.

Paint Spray Mass Spectrometry for the Detection of Additives from Polymers on Conducting Surfaces

  • Paint Spray is developed as a direct sampling ionisation method for mass spectrometric analysis of additives in polymer-based surface coatings. The technique simply involves applying an external high voltage (5 kV) to the wetted sample placed in front of the mass spectrometer inlet and represents a much simpler ionisation technique compared to those currently available. The capabilities of Paint Spray are demonstrated herein with the detection of four commercially available hindered amine light stabilisers; TINUVIN${(R)}$770, TINUVIN${(R)}$292, TINUVIN${(R)}$123 and TINUVIN${(R)}$152 directly from thermoset polyester-based coil coatings. Paint Spray requires no sample preparation or pre-treatment and combined with its simplicity requiring no specialised equipment makes it ideal for use by non-specialists. The application of Paint Spray for industrial use has significant potential as sample collection from a coil coating production line and Paint Spray ionisation could enable fast quality control screening at high sensitivity.

  • Performance of DI diesel engine with high-pressure fuel injection equipment is directly related to its emission characteristics and fuel consumption. So, the electro-hydraulic injector for the common-rail injection system should be designed to meet the precise high fuel delivery control capability. Currently, most high pressure injector in use has a needle driven by the solenoid coil energy or the piezo actuator controlled by charge-discharge of output pulse current. In this study, macroscopic spray approaching method was applied under constant volume chamber to research the performance of three different injectors : solenoid, indirect-acting piezo and direct-acting piezo type for CR direct-injection. LED back illumination for Mie scattering was applied on the liquid spray visible of direct-acting piezo injector, including hydraulic-servo type solenoid and piezo-driven injectors. As main results, we found that a direct-acting piezo injector had better a spray tip penetration than hydraulic-servo injectors in spray visualization.

AF궤도회로에서 코팅재에 의한 자계의 세기 및 단락전류 변화에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Variation of Magnetic Field Intensity and Short Current by Coating Material of Spray in AF Track Circuits)

  • There is a method for offering continuous information by AF track circuits. Magnetic fields are formed by current through rails in the AF track circuit systems. So, the continuous information is received by the magnetic fields on a on-board antenna. Coating materials of spray on rails are researched to decrease defects such as head check, shelling, corrugation, squats and so on in Germany. Currently, a coating method of rail construction is proposed by using the ceramics in Korea. When deciding physical characteristic of the coating material of spray, researches are required about variation of flux density and resistivity by using the coating material of spray. In case that the flux density is much lower than existing value, the information for train control is not transmitted to the on-board antenna. In this paper, inductance on rails is calculated and a model is presented about variation of the magnetic field intensity and resistivity in the AF track circuit. Standard permeability of the coating material of spray is proposed. Also, standard resistivity of the coating material of spray is presented by analyzing short current.

분무성형법에 의한 Al 합금(AA2014) 대형봉상성형체 제조시 기공발생에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Creation of Porosity in Al Alloy(AA2014) Large Rod Preforms by Spray Forming)

  • In order to manufacture large rod preforms of 2014 Al alloy with a good mechanical property by spray forming method, it was spray-formed at a droplet temperature of $715^{\circ}C$, a droplet flight distance of 400mm, and a spraying angle of $35^{\circ}$. The rod preforms were extruded at $397^{\circ}C$ with the die temperature of $420^{\circ}C$ under the hot extrusion ratio 21:1 and T6 heat treatment was performed. The 2014 Al alloys cast by hot top process were also extruded and heat-treated at the same condition as a reference material. Microstructural observation and tensile test were carried out to investigate the effects of extrusion on microstructure and mechanical property of spray-formed Al alloy. Spray-formed Al alloys had many porosities due to inappropriate process conditions such as long droplet flight distance and low droplet temperature but have fine equiaxed grain. These porosities were reduced with decreasing in grain size by hot extrusion. Ultimate tensile strength and yield strength of spray formed-extruded 2014 Al alloy were inferior to those of the normal cast-extruded 2014 Al alloy, but elongations were superior. The control of porosity was important to get spray formed preform with a good mechanical property.

  • 참다래 꽃썩음병은 주로 항생제 살포에 의해 방제되고있다. 스트랩토마이신황산염 옥시테트라사이클린 수화제, 농용신 쿠퍼 수화제와 옥쏘리닉에시드 수화제가 15개의 후보약제들 대상으로 한 실내시험 및 포장시험을 통하여 참다래 꽃썩음병 예방약제로 선발되었다. 참다래 꽃썩음병 방제를 위하여 스트랩토마이신황산염 옥시테트라사이클린 수화제와 농용신 쿠퍼 수화제의 살포적기는 개화기이고, 여러 가지 살포시기별 다양한 약제살포 조합 중에서 참다래 꽃썩음병 방제를 위한 스트랩토마이신황산염 옥시테트라사이클린 수화제와 농용신 쿠퍼 수화제의 최적 살포 회수는 참다래 개화기인 5월 초부터 10일 간격으로 3회로 판명되었다.

돈혈의 적정 건조조건과 육계사료로서의 재활용 방안 (Optimum Drying Condition for Slaughter Porcine Blood and Its Utilization as Broiler Diets)

  • Optimum drying conditions to utilize porcine blood from slaughter house for blood meals, and the effects of blood meals on growth in broiler chicks were investigated. Moisture and protein con-tents of slaughter porcine blood were 79.8 and 16.4%, respectively. The protein contents of the flash dried blood meals at 80˚C were not different from those of the spray dried blood meals at 160 and 190˚C, but higher by 17% relative to those of the spray dried blood meals at 80 and 120˚C. Results from protein analysis by SDS-polyacrylamide electrophoresis showed that flash dried blood meals at 80˚C and spray dried blood meals at 160˚C were better than spray dried blood meals at 80, 120 and 190˚C in terms of protein quality. In Feeding Trial I with broiler chicks, body weights of chicks fed 2, 4 and 6% flash dried blood meal diets at 80˚C were increased at 35 days by 5.6, 7.9 and 4.0%, respectively, compared to control group(P<0.05). In Feeding Trial II, body weights of chicks fed 4 and 6% flash dried blood meal diets at 80˚C were increased at 42 days by 4.9 and 5.3%, respectively, compared to control group(P<0.05). Feed conversion ratios of chicks fed diets 4 and 6% flash dried blood meal diets at 80˚C were significantly improved at 42 days by 7.0 and 3.7%, respectively, compared to that of control group(P<0.05). The optimum drying condition of slaughter porcine blood seemed to be the flash drying method at 80˚C
