The results were collected from elite athletes that had spent more than 10 years in their respective sports so it is difficult to observe any significant results from 8 weeks, short-term exercises of 1RM 70~80%, 3 times per week. In the next study, it is necessary to divide the subjects into more diverse groups and subject them by varying amounts of turmeric intake, exercise, etc., in order to fully study and understand the effects on blood alcohol level, change, and health promotion. Consequently, this study demonstrated there were no significant differences in the effects of continuous drinking habits of adult men's turmeric powder intake and weight training exercise on changes in GOT, GPT, γ-GTP, and blood alcohol concentrations. Moreover, health improvements themselves didn't affect changes in body composition.

Results - We ascertain that 21 shopping items can be classified into five similar groups which have homogeneous traits by going through two-step cluster analysis. We can position homogeneous places of cluster and shopping items joining each cluster. Conclusions - We can relatively assess patterns and characteristics of each shopping item, come by useful information in activating shopping tour based on the actual state of recognition of foreign tourists and practically apply to each tourism industry on underlying results.

  • This study aims to propose measures to consistently induce Chinese tourists who represent the largest percentage of inbound tourism from foreign countries, utilizing raw data of 2015 Korea International Visitor Survey conducted by the Korea Culture & Tourism Institute under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Differences and influence factors for overall satisfaction on travel in Korea, intention to revisit Korea, and intention to recommendation were analyzed by demographic characteristics and tourism characteristics of Chinese consumers. As a result of analysis study, it came out that there are differences between overall satisfaction on travel in Korea and intention to revisit Korea by age and job of demographic characteristics. Among the tourism characteristics, there are differences in intention to revisit Korea depending on purpose of travel, intention to revisit Korea and recommendation according to route of travel information search, and there are differences in all three categories according to type of travel. The most important factor of all three category was identified as 'Food' factor and the second most influential factors were immigration procedures, security, and tourist attractiveness. It is suggested that more active research and improvement efforts are needed in the government, industry, and academia in order to attract Chinese tourists in the future.

  • Dongdaemun Stadium was the nation's leading modem sports facilities built in 1926 by Japanese colonists. It hosted a number of the nation's sports matches and cultural performances, filled with cultural and historic significance as a birthplace of Korea's sports. As the facility was aging, however, its functions became limited. With the so-called "restoration" of Cheonggye Stream, the stadium was reduced to a flea market, no longer used for its originally intended purposes. The Seoul Metropolitan Government demolished the stadium under the plan to develop the district into a tourism cluster dedicated to the design and fashion industries. This study takes Dongdaemun Stadium as an example to explain underlying meanings of capitalist restructuring of landscape which entails removal of modern cultural relics and redevelopment projects. Although Dongdaemun Stadium was not used in the way it had been designated to be used, it still had a value as a diachronic and synchronic record for the city. The rationale that the stadium should be tom down and reinvented as tourist attraction to reap huge financial benefits illustrates that the city government's development ideology gravitated towards public works projects. This approach may harm a place's genuine disposition or essence and create an artificially-induced placeness, undermining its historio-cultural values.
