Method of Analyzing Important Variables using Machine Learning-based Golf Putting Direction Prediction Model (머신러닝 기반 골프 퍼팅 방향 예측 모델을 활용한 중요 변수 분석 방법론)

  • Objective: This study proposes a methodology to analyze important variables that have a significant impact on the putting direction prediction using a machine learning-based putting direction prediction model trained with IMU sensor data. Method: Putting data were collected using an IMU sensor measuring 12 variables from 6 adult males in their 20s at K University who had no golf experience. The data was preprocessed so that it could be applied to machine learning, and a model was built using five machine learning algorithms. Finally, by comparing the performance of the built models, the model with the highest performance was selected as the proposed model, and then 12 variables of the IMU sensor were applied one by one to analyze important variables affecting the learning performance. Results: As a result of comparing the performance of five machine learning algorithms (K-NN, Naive Bayes, Decision Tree, Random Forest, and Light GBM), the prediction accuracy of the Light GBM-based prediction model was higher than that of other algorithms. Using the Light GBM algorithm, which had excellent performance, an experiment was performed to rank the importance of variables that affect the direction prediction of the model. Conclusion: Among the five machine learning algorithms, the algorithm that best predicts the putting direction was the Light GBM algorithm. When the model predicted the putting direction, the variable that had the greatest influence was the left-right inclination (Roll).

The Relationship among Major Satisfaction, Career Preparation Behavior and Career Sense Maturity of Students of Department in Physical Education (체육계열 대학생의 전공만족과 진로준비행동 및 진로의식성숙도의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among major satisfaction, career preparation behavior and career sense maturity of sports-related university students. To achieve the objective of this study 221 students in sports-related university were investigated with convenience sampling method. Frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlations analysis and structural equation model analysis were executed using SPSS Statistics v21 and SPSS Amos v21. As the results, the following conclusion was derived. First, it was discovered that the major satisfaction had static influence to the career preparation behavior. Second, it showed that the major satisfaction gave static influence to the career sense maturity. Third, it showed that the career preparation behavior affected the career sense maturity.

  • In recent years, women's monetary rewards in golf increased and their performances have improved significantly compared to other sports. Sports marketing has become more active in Asia and the number of Korean players in LPGA with good scores are increasing. For these reasons, golf is becoming increasingly popular. The prize money is higher than in other sports and the economic benefits are increasing due to the financial incentives such as sponsorships. Many of these prospects actively affect women's golf. Certain rookies continue to increase and their performances improve day by day. In this study, I analyze the changes in performance over time of last 5 years from 2009 using growth curve analysis. According to the results of analysis, driving distance and average putting skills developed but green in regulation decreased.

Stress Patterns in the Reconstructed Double Bundles of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament in Response to an Anterior Tibial Load and Rotatory Load: an Analysis using a 3-Dimensional Finite Element Model (삼차원 유한 요소 모델을 이용한 전방십자인대 이중다발 재건술 후 전방 전위 및 회전 부하에 따른 이식건 응력 양상 분석)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the patterns of the stress distribution within the reconstructed anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) double bundles in response to an anterior tibial load and rotatory load at $45^{\circ}$ flexed knee model by use of a 3-dimensional finite element analysis (FEM). Materials and Methods: The $0^{\circ}$ and $45^{\circ}$ flexed 3-D knee model were reconstructed based on the high resolution computed tomography (CT) images from the right knee of a healthy male subject. To simulate double bundle ACL reconstruction, in $0^{\circ}$ analytic model, four 7 mm diameter tunnels were created at the center of each anteromedial (AM) and posterolateral (PL) footprints on the femur and tibia. The grafts were inserted into the corresponding bone tunnels and then reconstructed knee model was flexed to $45^{\circ}$. As a next step, the 5 mm anterior tibial load and internal rotational load of $10^{\circ}$ were applied on the final Computer aided design (CAD) model. And then stress patterns of each bundle were assessed using a finite element analysis. Results: In response to the 5 mm of anterior tibial load, the AM bundle showed increased stresses around the tibial and femoral attachment sites; especially in the anterior aspect of the bundle. In the PL bundle, the highest stress concentration was also noticed on the anterior aspect of the bundle. Under $10^{\circ}$ internal rotational load, the stress concentration was predominant around the anterior aspect of the tibial attachment site within the AM bundle. The PL bundle also showed highest stress concentration on the anterior aspect of the bundle. Conclusion: Although the stress patterns were not identical among the AM and PL bundle, there were common trends in the stress distribution. The stress concentration was predominant on the anterior aspect of both bundles in response to the anterior tibial load and rotatory load.

  • Electronic commerce (e-commerce) has seen as the potential to improve profitability and productivity in many areas as well as gaining notable attention in many countries. Despite, there has been some uncertainty about the e-commerce impacts for developing countries. The sufficient basic infrastructural deficiency, socio-political, economic and the lack of government public ICT policies have formed the significant barriers to the adoption and e-commerce growth in developing countries. Even though there are many researchers have found the common barriers to e-commerce in the developing nations, all business models targeting those countries are not equally successful. Small companies' persistence failed to challenge the e-commerce barriers in Cambodia because the firms didn't know the correct business model to succeed in this country online market. Therefore, this study will discuss the existing barriers which lead to limit e-commerce growth in Cambodia and the suggested solutions with the suitable business model for the e-commerce business in the country too.

  • This paper improves the possibility of recognizing fast-moving objects through the YOLO (You Only Look Once) deep learning recognition model in an application environment for object recognition in images. The purpose was to study the method of collecting semantic data through processing. In the recognition model, the moving object recognition error was identified as unrecognized because of the difference between the frame rate of the camera and the moving speed of the object and a misrecognition due to the existence of a similar object in an environment adjacent to the object. To minimize the recognition errors by compensating for errors, such as unrecognized and misrecognized objects through the proposed data collection method, and applying vision processing technology for the causes of errors that may occur in images acquired for sports (tennis games) that can represent real similar environments. The effectiveness of effective secondary data collection was improved by research on methods and processing structures. Therefore, by applying the data collection method proposed in this study, ordinary people can collect and manage data to improve their health and athletic performance in the sports and health industry through the simple shooting of a smart-phone camera.

Relationship between Grit and Achievement Behavior in Physical Education Classes Based on the Expected-Value Model (기대-가치 모델에 근거한 체육수업에서 그릿(Grit)과 성취행동의 관계 이해)

  • The purpose of this study was to test the mediation effects of grit on the relationship between expectancy-value and achievement behavior in physical education class. Data for the study were collected from a survey of 353 middle school students. For data processing, this study confirmed the goodness of fit test of the whole model using SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0, and then did hypothesis testing; the study results are as follows: First, students' expectation-value perception had a positive effect on grit, and only success expectation had a significant effect on achievement behavior. Second, students' grit had significant impacts on their achievement behavior. Third, grit had mediating effects on relations between expectancy-value and achievement behavior.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore factors that physical education graduate students in graduate school of education drop out of teacher appointment examination of secondary school by using Ecological Model. The in-depth interview was conducted for 10 physical education graduate students studying in school of education. As an aspect of the intrapersonal component, the effort to apply how participants'current job positively affects their preparation for teacher appointment examination is required and they need to clearly decide academic priorities to prepare for teacher appointment examination. As an aspect of interpersonal component, participants are negatively affected by subjective norm, thereby providing personalized mentoring program is required. As an aspect of organizational component, limited tuition support and inappropriate place to study are emphasized, so practical helps like sports practice instructor or teacher appointment examination preparation class is required. Finally, this study suggests the introduction of integrated system for teacher appointment examination.

Development of the Tailored Health Promotion Program for Rural Elderly: Based on the PRECEDE Model (농촌형 노인 건강증진프로그램 개발 연구: PRECEDE 모형을 중심으로)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop the health promotion program for rural elderly through PRECEDE process. Method: The health promotion program was developed based on the preliminary diagnosis. The data collection was performed from March 10th to April 9th, 2003. The subjects were selected at Mari Myun, Geochang Gun, in Korea. The preliminary diagnosis was examined with the 115 elders. Data was analyzed by descriptive statistics and Cronbach's n test with SPSS/Win 10.0 program. Results: The health promotion program was developed based on diagnostic result using PRECEDE model. The developed program was corrected and revised with the advices from 6 experts. The final program included health responsibility(cancer prevention and early detection, hygienic, false teeth management no smoking and moderation in drink, and chronic disease prevention and management), physical activity(6 kinds of exercise), nutrition(low sodium diet calcium intake, and right eating habit), spiritual growth(spiritual demand and death preparation teaching), interpersonal relations(relationship with couple, children, grandchildren, neighborhood), and stress management(sports dance, foot massage, positive thought, and song class). Conclusion: I propose that it is necessary to identity the effect of health promotion program for rural elderly. And strategy development that can spread the health promotion program elderly is needed.

The Development of Interactive Ski-Simulation Motion Recognition System by Physics-Based Analysis (물리 모델 분석을 통한 상호 작용형 스키시뮬레이터 동작인식 시스템 개발)

  • In this research, we have developed a ski-simulation system based on a physics-based simulation model using Newton's second law of motion. Key parameters of the model, which estimates skier's trajectory, speed and acceleration change due to skier's control on ski plate and posture changes, were derived from a field test study performed on real ski slope. Skier's posture and motion were measured by motion capture system composed of 13 high speed IR camera, and skier's control and pressure distribution on ski plate were measured by acceleration and pressure sensors attached on ski plate and ski boots. Developed ski-simulation model analyzes user's full body and center of mass using a depth camera(Microsoft Kinect) device in real time and provides feedback about force, velocity and acceleration for user. As a result, through the development of interactive ski-simulation motion recognition system, we accumulated experience and skills based on physics models for development of sports simulator.
