백화점 휴게공간의 실내환경특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Environmental Characteristics of Rest Spaces in Department Stores)

  • Recently, the spatial design of resting spaces in department stores has been changed. The design elements such as colors, materials, lighting, natural elements, furniture arrangement, and VMD are not only providing a pleasant and natural indoor atmosphere in resting spaces but also providing various services to customers. In this study, it aims to analyze how the spatial design characteristics of resting spaces in department stores are appeared. The results are as follows. First, the spatial characteristics of the resting spaces in department sores came up as five factors; accessibility, recognition, comfort, convenience, and esthetics. As the result, the accessibility is the most important factor in resting spaces. Second, the resting spaces was well located near by the elevators and escalators providing easy accessibility to customers to floor. Third, the resting spaces need to improve the spatial design for emphasizing the recognitions by using colors, materials and lighting. Fourth, the resting spaces were provided different atmosphere by their location. Fifth, the various forms of furniture, curved, zigzagged, and cubed, were placed in the resting spaces for comport use. Sixth, the aesthetic was the least important factor of all. To improve this problem, the resting spaces need to provide cultural contents by installing art pieces, moving picture facilities, and VMD. Seven, most of the resting spaces had similar floor plan type that they did not perform their role successfully. The resting spaces need to provide both individual rooms and unique open spaces for giving a choice to use when customers visit them.

A Study on Plan Structure Types and Characteristics of Wall Formation in Art Museum Exhibition Spaces

  • The Characteristics of space are determined by several factors; however, the element that determines the physical characteristic of floors, walls, and ceiling is the structure. This study constructs a wall to analyze the direct effect that the layout of an exhibition wall has on the element of the wall followed by the structural process and visibility of descriptive analysis and examples of art museums that the shift from a perceptional wall to an experiential wall affected circulation. For elements and formation methods of the wall, first, it is made up of open and closed type exhibition spaces, and it can give abundance in qualitative space rather than a quantitative aspect. Secondly, the directivity of space changes according to the development of the visible axis, thus, directly affects the change in visibility. Thirdly, the difference between spatial structure and visual structure is the difference between the visual axis and spatial structure. The wall formation type followed by the combination method, the simple visible structure, which is the type that possesses the simple combination (Room, Zone, Cluster), repeatedly uses the same size of units of space that is orderly and has few spatial axes and the classification of simple type and simple cluster type, which has few visible axes, also exists. Also, with the complex structure of the maze type it displays the reiterated form of the cluster, which is the space with disorderly combination and has much visible axes and spatial axes. Also, these can be divided into three types: 1) Maze Cluster Type, 2) Cross Road Type, and 3) Open Flexible Type. These wall types lead the various changes in circulation, and even each of the arrangement qualities of the exhibitions should be researched according to its exhibition place type.

  • In this study, it did comparative analysis on the arrangement, construction and size of rooms applied in the early design stage at the time of prize-winning with the changed ground plans in the final design of those prize-winning works in design contests and BTL hold since 2007 for middle and high schools in Gyeonggi, Daejeon, Chungcheong regions. Through the analysis, this study intends to present those matters to be changed in the facilities standards of each local education office so that it can be referred to the assessment of spatial construction and proper size being planned in the future for middle and high schools and reflected flexibly in consideration of various educational conditions and characteristics of schools by regions. Furthermore, it has the objective to play a part for the establishment of much better environment of educational facilities by provision of reference materials to those matters being changed into proper ones not into the minimum ones of the school facilities standards as the national level. For case analysis, it analyzed various rooms classified by necessary spaces. Since names of rooms and spatial constructions to constitute facilities are different from each local education office and also the analysis by each room has some limitation in the changes and improvement of rooms for a wide range, it proceeded with detailed classifications of school building facilities by each necessary space.

공간정보 디지털화에 대비한 메가시티 핵심노드 방호 대책 (How to Protect Critical Nodes of Megacities in Preparation for the Digitization of Spatial Information)

  • 4차 산업혁명의 기술이 발전함에 따라 공간정보의 디지털화가 심화되고 있다. 이제는 스마트폰으로도 메가시티 내의 국가·군사중요시설의 위치를 쉽게 식별할 수 있다. 이로 인해 메가시티의 국가·군사중요시설은 전통적 위협뿐만 아니라 테러, 사이버 해킹, 범죄 활동 등과 같은 비전통적 위협에 노출되었다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 위협으로부터 메가시티의 국가·군사중요시설을 방호할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 시간·자원의 제약을 고려할 때, 모든 국가·중요시설을 방호하는 것은 제한되므로 이들의 핵심노드에 집중해야 한다. 구체적으로 핵심노드와 주변 환경과의 조화로운 설계 및 배치, 지하·복토화, 허식(虛飾) 등의 방법을 융·복합하는 방안을 대책으로 제시하였다. 향후, 도심항공모빌리티와 자율주행차량의 등장으로 디지털 공간정보의 투명성은 더욱 증대될 것이다. 따라서, 미래 위협에 대비하기 위해 메가시티 핵심노드의 노출을 최소화하기 위한 방안이 강구되어야 할 것이다.

  • 멀티 디스플레이 환경에서 미디어아트를 비롯한 다양한 예술작품을 전시하기 위해서는 콘텐츠 배치에 대한 고려가 반드시 필요하다. 디스플레이와 콘텐츠간의 1:1 혹은 N:1 배치가 아니라 1:N 혹은 N:N의 배치에서는 다양한 연출이 가능하다는 장점이 있지만 멀티 디스플레이에서 공간적, 시간적 배치를 어떻게 할 것인가에 대한 보다 복합적인 계획이 요구된다. 콘텐츠 배치를 위해 기존에는 미디어서버 솔루션을 활용하거나 프로그래밍을 기반으로 하는 멀티미디어제작 전용 소프트웨어를 사용하였는데 콘텐츠를 재 배치 하거나 수정보완 시 많은 시간이 소요될 뿐 만 아니라 수정 하는 과정 또한 쉽지 않아 많은 아티스트들이 멀티 디스플레이 환경에서 콘텐츠를 배치하는 부분에 있어 큰 어려움을 겪고 있는 실정이다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 콘텐츠 배치 방식에 대한 연구부터 기존 방식을 개선시킨 콘텐츠 배치 소프트웨어 개발에 이르기까지 다양한 접근 방식이 필요하지만 이를 뒷받침하는 체계적인 콘텐츠 배치 유형에 대한 분석이나 이를 실제 전시공간에서 쉽게 활용하기 위한 인터페이스에 대한 접근 또한 부재한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 기 분석된 콘텐츠 배치 유형을 멀티 디스플레이 환경에서 미디어아트를 비롯한 다양한 작품 활동에 잘 활용할 수 있도록 하는 것에 목적을 두고 각 유형별로 인터페이스를 설계에 필요한 요구사항들을 정리하였다. 콘텐츠 배치 시 가장 크게 구분되는 공간적(spatial)배치와 시간적(temporal)배치 유형을 중심으로 각 유형별 인터페이스의 요구사항들을 도출하였으며 이와 같이 정리된 인터페이스 요구사항에 관한 내용들은 향후 인터페이스 설계와 통합적인 콘텐츠 배치 시스템 개발을 위한 초석이 될 것으로 기대하는 바이다.

노후고등학교의 미래학교 공간구성 정책방향에 관한 연구 - 고교학점제 적용을 위한 공간 재배치 판단을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Policy Direction of Space Composition of the Future School in Old High School - Focused on The Judgment of Space Relocation for the Application of the High School Credit System -)

  • 본 연구는 기존 노후 고등학교에 대해 학점제 운영이 가능한 미래학교로서의 공간 혁신을 위해 기존 학교의 공간 구성 및 구조적 문제점을 파악하고 미래 다양한 교수학습이 가능한 학점제 운영 학교로서의 중·장기 배치계획을 수립할 수 있도록 사례 조사를 통해 증.개축 또는 리모델링 판단 준거 도출을 목적으로 실시하였으며, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기존 노후 고등학교의 문제점은 대부분 일자형 표준설계도형 단위 건물 중심, 여러 동으로 분산 배치되어 건물 간 연계성이 매우 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 각 건물의 평면 구성 형식은 교실과 복도 개념의 공간 구성으로 휴식 시간대 학생 교류와 휴식 기능이 이루어질 수 없는 구조로 판단된다. 둘째, 미래학교 공간 혁신을 위한 학점제 운영 고등학교 공간 구성 방향으로는 교과교실제를 전제로 학생 이동에 따른 동선 단축 및 교과 영역 확대 등을 고려할 때 집합형 배치를 반영하여 배치 계획을 수립하여야 한다. 또한 이동 수업에 따른 소통과 교류가 가능한 중심 지역에 휴식과 교류가 가능한 광장형 공간을 제공하는 것이 바람직하다. 더불어 학생 중심 공간인 광장과 연계된 도서관이나 스마트학습실 등 체험 활동이 가능한 다양하고 융통성 있는 공간을 배치한다. 셋째, 노후고등학교 재배치 판단 평가 기준으로는 향후 학급 수를 기준으로 스페이스프로그램을 작성하고 학교 토지 활용에 대한 법적 분석 및 지역 특성을 고려한 토지 이용 효율성 분석을 실시한다. 또한 기존 건물의 각 동별 구조적 특성 및 기존 건물의 노후도를 분석하여 건물 동별 내구연수를 파악하고 교육적 기능성과 함께 개축 또는 리모델링 판단을 위한 기준으로 활용한다. 이와 같은 분석 자료를 토대로 학교시설 복합화 등 학교 공간 전체에 대한 중 장기·토지이용계획 및 공간 배치 계획을 수립한다.

관광매력물시스템모형과 관광목적지역디자인모형을 응용한 동부산권관광단지개발계획안 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Application of the Tourist Attraction System Model and the Tourism Destination Region Design Model to Analyzing the Eastern Pusan Resort Master Plan)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the analytical framework for a spatial structure of a tourism destination master plan by the two types of the tourism development models: Tourist attraction System Model and Tourism Destination Region Design Model. The resort development plan is introduced as a planning tool for regenerating the eastern Pusan regions, but the economic and environmental impacts and the sociocultural dilemma accompanied by the development should be fully considered before launching the business. The development plan announced currently is traced and examined in comparison with the upper-leveled and related plans. The Tourist Attraction System Model based on the systems theory is applied to the designated regions. The Tourism Destination Region Design Model then is applied for analyzing the components of each region on the master plan. The results of the findings suggest that the tourism destination plan is basically different from a general master plan on the physical comprehensive plan, the destination is recognized as a subsystem of the whole tourism system, and thus tourism destination plan is considered as a spatial arrangement of tourism facilities and the inter- and intra-circulation.

Voronoi diagrams, quasi-triangulations, and beta-complexes for disks in R2: the theory and implementation in BetaConcept

  • Voronoi diagrams are powerful for solving spatial problems among particles and have been used in many disciplines of science and engineering. In particular, the Voronoi diagram of three-dimensional spheres, also called the additively-weighted Voronoi diagram, has proven its powerful capabilities for solving the spatial reasoning problems for the arrangement of atoms in both molecular biology and material sciences. In order to solve application problems, the dual structure, called the quasi-triangulation, and its derivative structure, called the beta-complex, are frequently used with the Voronoi diagram itself. However, the Voronoi diagram, the quasi-triangulation, and the beta-complexes are sometimes regarded as somewhat difficult for ordinary users to understand. This paper presents the two-dimensional counterparts of their definitions and introduce the BetaConcept program which implements the theory so that users can easily learn the powerful concept and capabilities of these constructs in a plane. The BetaConcept program was implemented in the standard C++ language with MFC and OpenGL and freely available at Voronoi Diagram Research Center (http://voronoi.hanyang.ac.kr).

1960년대 초 서울 신흥 주거지의 단독주택 세 유형 비교 (A Comparison of Urban Detached Houses in Seoul's New Housing Quarters in the Early 1960s)

  • This study explores the typology of the urban detached houses in the new housing quarters that were created in the process of Seoul's urbanization in the aftermath of the Korean War. It analyzes and compares the urban tissue and space allocation set when the new urban residential areas were organized according to different methods of production. Based on the comparative analysis of housing built in the same time of 1960s, this study aims to deduce why a specific urban detached housing type was selected as an influential housing prototype and how this spread in later generations. Case study sites selected for this study include: the new Urban Hanok towns of Yongdu-dong, filled with mass Urban Hanoks built by housing developers; the single-family detached housing district of Myunmok-dong, filled with individual dwellings built by private builders; and the housing complex of detached houses in Suyu-dong, developed by government-sponsorship during the early 1960s. Each case examines the following: first, the difference in housing typology allocation according to urban tissue; second, the difference in spatial composition and arrangement within plots. As a result, it was found that differences in typology occur depending on which of the social, cultural, economic and technical factors was preferentially considered in forming urban tissue and allocating buildings in each residential area.

경남지역 중대형 아파트의 단위세대 평면구성 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of he Space Composition of the Medium Large Size Apartments' Unit Plan in Gyeongnam)

  • This study attempts to analyze the characteristics of the space composition of the apartments and the general principles of apartments unit plans in Gyeongnam. Literature review and content analysis method were used in his research. The data of 108 unit plans were collected from e-catalogue and model houses of housing construction firms. The results of this study were as follows; 1) The general principle of Gyeongnam apartment unit plans, the tendency of 4LDk+2BATH type, 4bay, central type living room were showed. 2) In the point LDK and couple's bed room, LDK area become large and open type and couple's bed room were showed bed room+dress+powder+bath type as Maser's zone. 3) The entrance has a intermediate space as a balcony or a former space and the privacy of LDK space was protected from the entrance. 4) In the case of support space, generally support kitchen and laundry space were offered and several balconies were utilized. In fact, he differences of apartment plan composition between central cities and Gyeongnam were no showed. Therefore, these tendencies on plan composition of apartment in Gyeongnam were followed the general principles of Korean unit plans.
