  • Apartment complex has become the major residental type of the urban structure. apartment complex has started to equip various subsidiary welfare facilities recently. environmental planning for play space has especially been important due to the growing attention over children's emotional development. In this study, arrangement types for play spaces in apartments to invigorate communication had been analyzed focusing on physical environment. based on previous studies, the arrangement of subsidiary welfare facilities can be categorized into dispersal type, concentrative type, affiliated type, and affiliated concentration type, and the elements to invigorate communication consist of circulative elements which contain location of play space and affiliated facility, visual elements which contain visual openness, and social elements which draw arrangement types of benches. the result of the analysis devide the arrangement type into concentrative type, affiliated type, and affiliated concentration type. referring to the location of play space, the first, if it is situated outside of apartment complex, theme-centered play space can be equipped to invigorate communication, the second, if it is situated in the center of the complex or outside of the apartment complex, low fence can be applied for free sight, and the last, straight type of bench arrangement should be used in big scale play space, aspectant type and gazebo type of the arrangement can be situated only outside of complex. This research could serve as a baseline of physical environment analysis to invigorate communication for play space in apartment complex.

  • This study aims to examine and classify plane types of Hanok at Haengbok village, analyze changes, area distribution and space structures of space components and sort plane types and their characteristics. Plane types were divided into four; living room, kitchen, dining room, etc. These plane types were labelled as LK type, L+K type, L+DK type and LDK type. LK type and L+K type were mainly found at single-wing house and made of living room and kitchen centered space structure, but substantially they were designed to ensure guest room, room and living room. Therefore, hanok built at Haengbok village were designed to combine the functions of residential function and lodging. Plane type was preferred to be used for double functions of residence and lodging. On the other side, L+DK type and LDK type were mainly found in house with several wings and they were designed centering around living room for family space. In addition entrance was placed to simplify entry from the outside and each room and guest room were arranged to be accessed from living room. It means that the functions of house focused on residence rather than lodging and all rooms had the structure to be used as residential space in case of emergency.

  • Clothing shape is principally described in seven factors that are composed of clothing design, clothing material, clothing size, pattern design, sewing method and body motion etc.. The aims of this study was to measurement out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with somato type by using the image processing. The subjects for direct anthropometric measurements were 248 female college students aged from 19 to 22. The data were statistically analyzed by principal analysis and cluster analysis. The results were obtained three somato type. Also I made skirts in order to analyzed to the out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body. The effect of somato type on the shape of flare skirts was determined by the out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body. The out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body was observed between the node number and amplitudes of clothing wave form and node number was determined at the maxim of space-shape amplitude, and the space-shape amplitudes have related with aspect ratio of cross-sectional shape. Results for flare skirts show changes in amplitude and mean with fabrics, somato type. therefore gray-level histogram are correlated with changes out-line space-shape, differences in drape spacing and related fabric properties and their somato type. • The purpose of this study is to analyze the structure and use change of the private space according to the balcony expansion and use it as the data of plan design. According to Bay, front length/width ratio and the change of balcony space before and after expansion of space organization of house units were analyzed. Common characteristics of Flat type and Tower type are an increase of the frontage length of house units in an apartment, an increase of the number of front bay, and an increase of integrated LDK focusing on living room. A difference is that Flat type shows high frontage ratio, Bay figure, and spatial arrangement favorable to front openness and lighting. Flat type shows higher area distribution than Tower type in LDK area distribution located in at the plane center. Spatial expandability and visual openness of Flat type are more beneficial than those of Tower type in the planning, and a balcony extension of house units has developed to direction to open more. Tower type creates various block images through a combination of house units focusing on the core. Uses after balcony expansion are area expansion of a balcony-neighboring room, storage space, expansion and function improvement of the variable range, and specialized space different from a neighboring room. In addition, there is no escapable space except for a shelter, so unit plan should be prepared to prevent using it other space of a shelter and to solve moving line of two-way horizontal refuge and vertical refuge.

  • We obtain new fixed point theorems on maps defined on "locally G-convex" subsets of a generalized convex spaces. Our first theorem is a Schauder-Tychonoff type generalization of the Brouwer fixed point theorem for a G-convex space, and the second main result is a fixed point theorem for the Kakutani maps. Our results extend many known generalizations of the Brouwer theorem, and are based on the Knaster-Kuratowski-Mazurkiewicz theorem. From these results, we deduce new results on collectively fixed points, intersection theorems for sets with convex sections and quasi-equilibrium theorems.
