고속도로 매표방법 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study to Reduce the Waiting Time in the Toll Gate)

  • Most of the companies are forced to cut down the manufacturing cost to survive in the competitive environment. Among others, material distribution cost alone takes substantial portion of the total manufacturing cost. In this study, we investigate the waiting phenomenon in the toll gate and propose a new toll booth layout to reduce the waiting time, thereby reduce the total material distribution cost. SIMAN, a simulation language, is employed to evaluate the proposed layout. The experimental results show that the layout reduces the waiting time significantly. Furthermore, the result indicates that determination of the intermediate buffer space affects the performance of the proposed layout.

  • The paper discusses the problem of computing coarser observation functions in supervisory control of discrete event systems. It is shown that when a supervisor that realizes a given language L has certain properties, L-realizability of a coarser observation function is equivalent to control-compatibility of the states in some subsets of the state space of the supervisor. This characterization is then used to devise an iterative procedure of computing coarser L-realizable observation functions, where supervisor reduction and L-realizability verification of an observation function are performed at each iteration.

  • We developed a Off-Line Graphic Simulator which can simulate a robot model in 3D graphics space in Windows 95 version. 4 axes SCARA robot was adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed program. The interface between users and the off-line program system in the Windows 95's graphic user interface environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D graphics.

  • In this paper, an improved integer-N frequency synthesizer that can be synthesized into smaller channel space than input signal frequency is presented. The proposed frequency synthesizer also has an characteristics of fast phase locking time. The frequency synthesizer performed in the manner that it divides various outputs of different phases in VCO by means of dividers that have different control signals respectively and then add the divided signal. In order to confirm the characteristics of proposed frequency synthesizer, behavioral and SPICE simulations are performed using C-language and HSPICE respectively.

  • In this paper, an efficient storage reclamation algorithm for RISC parallel processing in the object orented programming environments is presented. The memory management for the dynamic memory allocation and the frequent memory access in object oriented programming is the main factor that decreases RISC parallel processing performance. The proposed algorithm can be efficiently allocated the memory space of RISCy computer which is required the frequent memory access, so it can be increased RISC parallel processing performance. The proposed algorithm is verified the efficiency by implementing C language on SUN SPARC(4.3 BSD UNIX).
