Data is the expression of the language or numerical values that show some characteristics. And information is extracted from data for the specific purposes. The knowledge is utilized as information to construct rules that recognize patterns and make decisions. Today, knowledge extraction and application of the knowledge are broadly accomplished to improve the comprehension and to elevate the performance of systems in several industrial fields. The knowledge extraction could be achieved by some steps that include the knowledge acquisition, expression, and implementation. Such extracted knowledge can be drawn by rules. Clustering (CU, input space partition (ISP), neuro-fuzzy (NF), neural network (NN), extension matrix (EM), etc. are employed for expression the knowledge by rules. In this paper, the various approaches of the knowledge extraction are examined by categories that separate the methods by the applied industrial fields. Also, the several test data and the experimental results are compared and analysed based upon the applied techniques that include CL, ISP, NF, NN, EM, and so on.

Research confirms that healthful benefits accrued when people connect with nature and insect by viewing and interacting with them. Insect rearing is easy, relatively inexpensive, and can breed small space. This study aimed to investigate the physiological effects of animal assisted activity using insect(Oriental garden cricket) with diets and a rearing manual. The group of insect activity whose ages ranged from 65 to 82 years old that attending a community center in Daegu, Korea, were enrolled in the study between April and May 2014. The collected data was analyzed using qualitative analysis. Qualitative study is utilized to explore mental models, and their linguistic, affective, cognitive, social and cultural significance. The result showed that people-insect interactions promote well being of the elders, and the important aspect of insect activity aids in improvements in their social, emotional and cognitive functioning which were enhancing life satisfaction, reducing loneliness and increasing activities of daily life.

As for the purpose, we first introduce an random mutation into wild-type gene to expand a mutation space, and then further recombine the mutant genes by staggered extension process PCR. As a result, we obtained the best clones 6-52 that showed a high activity and stability, from a round of error prone and staggered extension process PCR. The purified enzyme showed a similar pH stability to the wild-type enzyme and reveal a slightly high optimum pH at 12. In the optimum temperature, an identical dependency was also showed and a quite high stability in the thermal stability was obtained. Along with this, the enzyme was also stable at a reaction that supplement with a 15 % of ethanol as an additive. The addition of other solvents and surfactants did not improve the reaction and thus resulted in a similar profile to those of wild-type enzyme. The specific activity on the target compound rac-ketoprofen ethyl ester was calculated to be about 85, 000 unit, and the kinetic constants Km and Vmax were determined to be 0.2 mM and 90 mM/mg-protein/min respectively. The deduced amino acid alignment with the wild type enzyme revealed five mutations at L120P, I208V, T249A, D287H and T357A. Based on these observations, the site directed mutagenesis to delineate the mutagenic effect is under progress.

공간상의 지형객체는 토지의 소유주 변경이나 소유주의 신상 변경, 토지의 합병과 분할, 도로의 신설 및 변경에 따른 지형 변경 등과 같은 공간 또는 속성 변화에 의해 공간이력 데이터가 발생한다. 하지만 기존의 GIS(Geographic Information System)는 측정시점에서 지형객체의 스냅샷 정보만을 관리하므로 시간 흐름에 따른 공간이력을 유지할 수 없다. 따라서 이 연구는 공간 데이터베이스의 시간차원 확장을 통하여 시간과 공간을 동시에 지원하는 시공간 데이터베이스 모델과 이력 관리 체계를 설계하고 구현한다. 이 연구의 결과는 GIS 공간 데이터베이스의 시간차원 확장으로 지형객체의 모든 이력정보를 유지 관리할 수 있다.

Also, the trend and examples of each approaches are shown in the tables and graphes using the categories such as CL, ISP, NF, NN, EM, and so on.

Injection laryngoplasty is simple and useful procedure in patient with vocal cord paralysis even under local anesthesia. For approaching vocal cord level, flexibility of neck mobility is required to operate injection laryngoplasty but it is relatively difficult to approach vocal cord in patient who has cervical fixations. Laryngeal mask airway (LMA) can be helpful:We use a LMA (I-gel$^{TM}$) during intubation without neck extension on flat supine position under general anesthesia and have a good operation filed. LMA with swivel connector give surgeons better surgical vision and make insertion of fibroscope easily during operation. Hyaluronic acid injection was done use needle (25 G, 5 cm) via percutaneous cricothyroid space : This procedure can be useful method for patients who suffer from not only weak voice but also dysphagia and aspiration high vagal palsy patient after spine surgery or uncooperative with awake injection laryngoplasty.

The study aims to explore the policy directions for young farmers within Korean agricultural context, particularly in Chung-nam Province. In order to accomplish this, young farmers were classified into three categories: successors, new farmers, potential farmers. The importance of young farmers is becoming more of a focus due to decline of population numbers in rural communities as well as the aging of agriculture population. In order to address these two problems, it is necessary to create and implement policy to support each category of young farmer. Rather than the current focus on nurturing young farmers as a labor force, the role of young farmers in maintaining local communities should be expanded in current agricultural system. The local community should provide appropriate conditions for young farmers in Chung-nam Province for the various purposes they have and the roles they fill. In conclusion, it is necessary to provide a 'space' where young farmers can meet base on the community. For this, the role of the community based intermediate support organization for the integrated support system is of great significance.

This paper proposes a new design method for the SMC-type FLC and shows that a SMC-type LFC is an extension of the SMC with BL. The conventional SMC-type FLC uses error and change-of-error as inputs of the FLC and generates the absolute value of a switching magnitude. Then, the fuzzy rule table is constructed on a two-dimensional space of the phase plane and has commonly the skew symmetric property. In this paper, we introduce a new variable, signed distance, from the skew symmetric property of the rule table. And thd variable becomes only a fuzzy variable that is used to generate the control input of a SMC-type FLC. that is, we design a new SMC-type FLC that uses a signed distance and a control input as the variables representing the contents of the rule-antecedent and the rule-con-sequent, respectively. Then the number of total rules is reduced and the control performance is almost the same as that of the conventional SMC-type FLC. Additionally, we derive the control law of the ordinary SMC with BL from a new SMC-type FLC. Namely, we show that a FLC is an extension of the SMC with BL.

In the MPEG-4 standardization phase, many methods for coding the irregular shaped VOP (video object Plane) have been researched. Texture coding is one of interesting research items in the MPEG-4. There are the Low pass extrapolation (LPE) padding, the shape adaptive DCT (SA-DCT), and the Extension-Interpolation (EI)/2D-DCT proposed in [1] as texture coding methods. the EI/2D-DCT is the method extending and interpolating luminance values from and Arbitrarily Shaped (AS) image segment into an 8 x 8 block and transforming the extended and interpolated luminance values by the 8x8 DCT. although the EI/2D-DCT and the SA-DCT work well in coding the As image segments. they are degraded since they use one-dimensional (1-D) methods such as the 1D-EI and the 1D-DCT in the two-dimensional (2-D) space. in this paper, we analyze the performance of the EI/2D-DCTand propose a new non-symmetric sig-sag scanning method, which non-symmetrically scans the quantized coefficients in the DCT domain to improve the EI/2D-DCT.

Gas springs have been widely used in motor vehicles as well as in most areas of industry. Instead of coil springs, these gas springs are easily opreated to open(extension process) or close (compression process) the doors because $N_2$ gas with high pressure and oil are charged in tube. Most of manufacturers are using the trial ＆ error method in order to decide its specification(reaction force, damping force), which tends to waste time and money. Therefore, gas springs have been improved by properly changing the control pressure of $N_2$ Gas with its mounting location and weight to maximize its effect and to minimize its space. Although it has been researched on damping structure to minimize impact which is applied to vehicle when its back door is fully opened, the characteristics of damping structure are not known clearly. There(ore, this paper will not only clearly define the effect of important factors(open ＆ close force)for gas springs through theoretical analysis but also provide optimum design specification through development of program to avoid traditional method of specification determination such as the trail It error method which is widely used in whole industries including automotive industry.
