Over the last several decades, the topic of the source selection and evaluation has gained a great attention in the information systems community as an effective tool to acquire information systems in an organization. The source selection and evaluation process is a multiple-criteria decision-making problem associated with several evaluation issues. In this case study, evaluation issues include management, technologies, logistics, and cost. This case study was conducted to compare a new source selection and evaluation process by using the analytic hierarchy process with the traditional approach. This study provides useful insight about how to apply the analytic hierarchy process technique to the traditional approach.

In this paper, for the systematic software evaluation and selection objective, we first discussed the systems software which is distinctly different from applications oriented software in source, concept and use. We suggested the systematic procedures for the effective software evaluation and selection by analyzing categories of commercially available proprietary software, sources of information for software selection, request for information, request for proposal, user surveys as an aid to evaluation and evaluation of responses to the RFP.

본 연구는 국방획득사업에 있어서 무기체계 기종결정간 현 규정상의 문제점을 분석하고 객관성과 공정성을 확보할 수 있는 몇 가지 기법을 제안하고 있다. 헬기 가종결정 문제를 적용 사례로 제시하였으며 AHP, PROMETHEE, 요소변환 등의 기법적용과 장 단점 분석을 통하여 비교분석 하였다. 모든 상황에서 모든 조건을 만족하는 의사결정 기법은 사실상 존재하지 않는다. 따라서 무기체계 기종결정시 평가항목의 유형에 따라 적합한 의사결정 기법을 적용함으로써 객관성을 유지할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Even though the final source selection of foreign weapon system purchase project in defense area is the most important phase, the standard evaluation index has not been developed. This paper provides an appropriate evaluation index using DEMATEL and ANP methods. First, the all possible evaluation criteria applied to the relevant previous literatures in domestic and overseas researches are derived and classified into groups. Second, DEMATEL method is used to determine the network structure representing the relations of cause and effect between groups and their sub-criteria. If isolated factors, not connected with other factors, are existed in the network structure, all factors except for the isolated ones are grouped as one large factor so that the independency between those ones is maintained. The weights of criteria are determined using AHP method if the criteria are independent relation and ANP method if the criteria are networked. The weights of higher and lower level criteria are then integrated and distributed as a point with respect to the decision making purpose. The developed evaluation index can be used as a standard one in various foreign weapon system purchase projects in defense area.

In this paper, we evaluate performance of a hybrid decode-amplify-forward relaying protocol in underlay cognitive radio. In the proposed protocol, a secondary relay which is chosen by partial relay selection method helps a transmission between a secondary source and a secondary destination. In particular, if the chosen relay decodes the secondary source's signal successfully, it will forward the decoded signal to the secondary destination. Otherwise, it will amplify the signal received from the secondary source and will forward the amplified signal to the secondary destination. We evaluate the performance of our scheme via theory and simulation. Results show that the proposed protocol outperforms the amplify-and-forward and decode-and-forward protocols in terms of outage probability.

Photodynamic diagnosis(PDD) is a method to diagnose the possibility of cancer, both by the principle that if a photosensitizer is injected into an organic tissue, it is accumulated in the tissue of a malignant tumor selectively after a specific period, and by a comparison of the intensity of the fluorescence of normal tissue with abnormal tissue after investigating the excitation light of a tissue with accumulated photosensitizer. Since the selection of the wavelength band of excitation light has an interrelation with fluorescence generation according to the selection of a photosencitizer, it plays an important role in POD. This study aims at designing and evaluating light source devices that can stably generate light with various kinds of wavelengths In order to make possible PDD using a photosensitizer and diagnosis using auto-fluorescence. The light source device was a Xenon lamp and filter wheel, composed of an optical output control through Iris and filters with several wavelength bands It also makes the inducement of auto-fluorescence possible because it is designed to generate a wavelength band of 380-400. The transmission part of the light source was, developed to enhance the efficiency of light transmission. To evaluate this light source device, the characteristics of the light output and wavelength band were verified. To validate the capability of this device as PDD the detection of auto-fluorescence using mouse was performed.

We proposed and stratified a selection standard model on Open Source Functional Board which could be found in Web. So we could grasp the weight about Performance Evaluation from the viewpoints of planners, developers, and web disigner professional of views. We suggested applying diverse measurement types in case of item which could chart Evaluation Standards on chosen sample boards. In case of item which couldn't do that, we compared and analyzed it by using selective type of 9 point scaling method on professionalists in every sample board. As a result of weight on upper estimate section of evaluation model chart, the order of importance was convenience(0.334), performance(0.333), function(0.240) and design(0.093) respectively. It indicates that there is more weight on performance and convenience which are hard to be structurally modified than designs and functions that are directly shown to the users. Also, it was evident that opposite results came out when using 9-point scale survey and measurement with objective data such as function and performance. The reason is because the surveyed subject can have his or her own subjectivity and bias unlike objective data. However, objectivity of the administrator is also an important factor thus both two perspectives have to be all considered when selecting the bulletin board.

Open loop or ground water heat pump systems are the oldest of ground-source systems. Standing column wells can be used as highly efficient ground heat exchanger in geo-thermal heat pump systems, where hydrological and geological conditions are suitable. These systems require some careful considerations for well design, ground water flow, heat exchanger selection etc This paper describes 9round water temperature variations, performances in heat ins and cool ing mode and the results of ground water analysis.

In this article I visually assessed the relation between luminous source and color, and analyzed subjective recognition of color by light source and image of color, aiming at giving guidelines in selecting source of light suitable for each purpose, thereby contributing to enhanced quality of life. For this purpose, I subjectized, by applying a quantitative method, the objective measurement that employs sensory evaluation method for 14 categories of color, light and feelings in visual perception of textile colors (blue, green and yellow) by color of light source (color temperature of 2800K, 4200K and 6500K), Followings are the conclusions derived form this study. Colors of textile were differently perceived according to the color of light source. When examining common recognition of textiles in blue, green and yellow, 2800K was said to give dirty, soft and blurred image, as for 4200K clear, wide and fine feelings were said, and pure, vivid, refined and bright image were marked for 6500K. As for 2800K, it got the most low appraisals compared with others. In conclusion, image and feeling of the same colors can differ according to light source, which indicates the importance of appropriate selection of light source for purpose of use. As for yellow, the number of assessment result that shows significant difference was the smallest among the three colors. So, it can be concluded that when we consider the recognition of color in mixing different colors, mixing with yellow can result in difficulty in visually perceiving difference of colors. Therefore, it is regarded that more considerable attention is required when dealing with yellow color.

본 논문에서는 관련성 분포 정보를 이용한 새로운 컬렉션 융합 모델을 제시한다. 이는 먼저 주어진 질의에 대하여 검색에 참여한 정보원을 평가하고 질의에 가장 적합한 정보원을 선택한다. 그리고 정보원의 평가 결과에 따라 해당 정보원으로부터 검색 문서를 차별적으로 수집하고, 검색된 문서들은 정보원의 평가 값인 관련성 분포 정보를 기반으로 최종 검색 문서의 순위 매김을 수행한다. 이렇게 순위 매김 된 검색 문서는 단일 우선 순위를 가지는 검색 문서의 집합으로 통합하여 사용자에게 단일 검색 결과를 제공한다. 그리고 질의어에 대하여 가장 좋은 정보원들을 분류할 수 있는 체계를 개발하여 사용자의 질의어에 대하여 최선의 정보원들을 선택할 수 있는 알고리즘의 제시하였다. 마지막으로 선택된 정보원으로부터 질의에 적합한 문서를 검색한 후에 이들을 순위 매김하고 통합하는 통합검색 시스템을 제시한다.
