강재프레임 모듈러주택의 바닥충격음 성능평가 (Performance Evaluation of the Floor Impact Sound Insulation in Steel Framed Modular House)

  • 이 논문에서는 최근 관심을 모으고 있는 강재프레임 모듈러주택의 건식 바닥시스템을 대상으로 바닥충격음 차단성능을 확보하기 위하여 시도된 다양한 바닥구조의 실험결과에 대하여 제시하고 있다. 실험결과, 단위모듈 건식온돌 바닥구조는 완충구조로서 액체몰을 사용한 바닥구조 D31(D32)를 사용하는 조건에서 경량충격음의 경우 주택건설기준 등에 관한 규정에서 정하고 있는 바닥충격음 차단성능의 1등급 수준의 확보가 가능하고, 중량충격음의 경우는 바닥충격음 차단성능의 최저등급이기는 하나 기본적인 성능의 확보가 가능한 것으로 평가되었다.

  • Recently, rapid advances of Ethernet and IP technology have brought many changes in the sound industry. In addition, due to AoIP-based audio transmission technology, various problems of the acoustic system (sound quality deterioration due to long distance transmission, complicated wiring) have improved dramatically. However, when many distributed audio systems are connected with AoIP equipment, if there is a problem in the equipment, it is impossible to operate the connected system. AoIP equipment only can transmit audio signals but cannot adjust the system for acoustic environment. In this paper, AoIP equipment is to be installed with sound equipment on a one-to-one basis, so that various existing problems can be solved and adjustment of sound quality (reverberation, echo, delay and EQ) can be possible by AoIP-based OAC (On-site Audio Center) with built-in DSP function. As a result, uncompressed real-time transmission by distributed transmission/receipt module in OAC (On-site Audio Center) and high quality sound by adjustment of sound quality with built-in DSP can be acquired. It is expected that OAC based sound system will be the industry standard in ubiquitous environment.

PTZ 카메라 감시를 위한 실시간 위험 소리 검출 및 음원 방향 추정 소리 감시 시스템 (A Real-time Audio Surveillance System Detecting and Localizing Dangerous Sounds for PTZ Camera Surveillance)

  • 본 논문에서는 실시간으로 위험한 소리를 인식하고 그 방향을 파악하여 이를 통해 PTZ Camera가 위험한 소리 방향으로 회전하여 해당 지역 영상을 획득하여 전송할 수 있도록 지원하는 소리 감시 시스템을 제안한다. 제안 소리 감시 시스템은 적응 혼합 가우시안 모델(AGMM)을 사용하여 일상적인 배경 소리와는 비정상적인 소리를 전경 소리로 검출하고, AGMM 모델로 미리 학습된 전경 소리들 중의 하나로 분류한다. 분류된 소리가 위험한 소리에 속하는 경우, Dual delay-line 방법에 기반을 둔 음원 방향 추정 기법을 사용하여 그 방향을 파악한다. 최종적으로 방향 정보를 사용하여 PTZ 카메라를 조절하여 그 방향 지역의 해당 영상을 획득하고 전송될 수 있도록 지원한다. 제안하는 소리 감시 시스템은 전경 위험 소리들을 안정적으로 검출하고, 79%의 정확도로 위험소리들을 분류하고, 작은 오차범위 이내 음원 방향 추정 성능을 나타냄을 실험결과를 통해 확인하였다.

Cross-talk Cancellation Algorithm for 3D Sound Reproduction

  • If the right and left signals of a binaural sound recording are reproduced through loudspeakers instead of a headphone, they are inevitably mixed during their transmission to the ears of the listener. This degrades the desired realism in the sound reproduction system, which is commonly called 'cross-talk.' A 'cross-talk canceler' that filters binaural signals before they are sent to the sound sources is needed to prevent cross-talk. A cross-talk canceler equalizes the resulting sound around the listener's ears as if the original binaural signal sound is reproduced next to the ears of listener. A cross-talk canceler is also a solution to the problem-how binaural sound is distributed to more than 2 channels that drive sound sources. This paper presents an effective way of building a cross-talk canceler in which geometric information, including locations of the listener and multiple loudspeakers, is divided into angular information and distance information. The presented method makes a database in an off-line way using an adaptive filtering technique and Head Related Transfer Functions. Though the database is mainly concerned about the situation where loudspeakers are located on a standard radius from the listener, it can be used for general radius cases after a distance compensation process, which requires a small amount of computation. Issues related to inverting a system to build a cross-talk canceler are discussed and numerical results explaining the preferred configuration of a sound reproduction system for stereo loudspeakers are presented.

  • The introduction of the sound based on the soundscape concept has the effect to offer comfortable sound environments at the public spaces by masking undesired ones and to identify the spaces. Sound installation, sound sculptor and the soundscape are used for these purpose, but the most important factors to be considered therein are to determine what kind of sounds to offer and how to adjust them to the changing circumstances. But, installing, maintaining and adjusting the soundscape system directly in the field will ensue numerous problems as well as high costs. And, even if it was epochal and novel when the soundscape is first installed at a space, new different sound environment is necessary to continue the effectiveness as time goes. Thus, this study aims at devising the instrument system that has the artificial intelligence, enables to remote control, with a great ease, numerous variables, reproduce most agreeable sound sources, and can produce the proper sound fit to the space automatically and spontaneously.

통기성을 갖는 막재료의 흡음특성 (Sound Absorption Characteristics of Permeable Membrane)

  • Sound absorption characteristics of membrane system which are used in stadiums and arenas were investigated. Theoretical studies on acoustic properties of single and double leaf permeable membrane conducted. Also, experimental studies on sound absorption characteristics of combined membrane system that is composed of outer and inner membrane material were conducted. In this study, sound absorption characteristics of each membrane were investigated by experiments in reverberation chamber. 4 types of permeable membranes and a non-permeable membrane were used for experiments. Air space behind membrane material and tension on the membrane was varied. Sound absorption performance of permeable membrane materials was confirmed. As increasing air space behind the membrane material, sound absorption coefficient was increased. In a resonance absorption frequency band sound absorption coefficient varied more dramatically. Sound absorption characteristics were flat in mid and high frequency range and sound absorption coefficient was from 0,3 to 0,5. Also sound absorption coefficient was increased by the increment of surface density and air permeability of membrane. However, over the certain value of air permeability, sound absorption coefficient was decreased. These results can be used as design factors and method for the room acoustic design of dome-stadiums and large free-form buildings.

사운드스케이프 적용을 위한 옥외 P.A. 시스템의 적정 인지레벨에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Optimistic Recognition Level of Public Address System as a Soundscape Application Facility)

  • P.A.(public address) system is considered as an useful active soundscape appliance which can gives a place identity and vitality by introducing conventional musics, environmental musics, bird singing sounds etc. In this study, the main aim is to know the optimistic distance from the speaker and sound pressure level range of introducing sound. So, the sound pressure level of P.A. system due to distances were measured and subjects' responses with level variations were checked. The main results are as follows. Level range from 64 dB to 71 dB is comfortable for subjects. And the optimal level of introducing sound is related with sound source characteristics. The results of this study could be used for street furniture location design and P.A. system output level.

원전 복수계통 열교환기의 이음 원인 분석 (Abnormal Sound from Heat Exchanger of Condensate Water System at Nuclear Power Plant)

  • Abnormal sound was heard from a heat exchanger of condensate water system in a nuclear power plant, which was identified as impact sound of a loose part later. Nuclear power plants are normally equipped with loose part monitoring system for primary water system, but not for secondary water system. The abnormal sound was analyzed by using the impact signal-processing methodology based on the Hertz theory. The predicted results for impact location and size of the loose part showed good agreement with those of the actual loose part found during the overhaul period in the plant. So, this analysis methodology for the impact signal will be widely utilized for the primary and secondary side of the nuclear power plant.

엘리베이터 샤프트를 통한 경보음 전달 예측과 개선 (Prediction and Reduction of Alarm Sound Propagated through Elevator Shaft)

  • 본 연구에서는 우선경보방식으로 경보음이 발생되는 경우 발화층과 직상층 이외의 다른 층으로도 전달되는 경보음에 대하여 건축음향 시뮬레이션을 활용하여 서로 다른 엘리베이터 배치를 갖는 3가지 조건에 대하여 예측하였다. 엘리베이터 샤프트에 흡음재가 설치되어 있지 않은 현재 조건으로 예측한 경우, 경보 발생층에서 멀어질수록 전달되는 경보음 크기는 작아졌지만, 3개층이 떨어진 경우에도 약 54 dB(A)~56 dB(A) 크기로 전달되어 일반적인 공동주택의 배경소음 보다 크게 전달되는 것으로 예측되었다. 이전 연구에서 개선안으로 제시된 엘리베이터 샤프트에 흡음재를 적용한 결과 인접층으로 전달되는 경보음 레벨은 약 12 dB~16 dB 정도 작아질 수 있는 것으로 예측되었다. 이는 공동주택의 배경소음 레벨과 유사하거나 작은 정도로 국가화재안전기준에서 규정한 일제경보방식의 의도대로 경보음이 발생되는 발화층과 직상층 이외의 층으로 전달되는 현상을 개선할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

흉부음 데이터를 이용한 천식 질환 판별 (Classification of Asthma Disease Using Thoracic Data)

  • In this paper, we make a study of classification normal from abnormal - normal, asthma through analysis of thoracic sound to take use thoracic sound detection system. Thoracic sound detection system has a function to store thoracic sound and analyze the data. The wave shape of thoracic sound is similar to noise and is systematically generated by inhalation and exhalation breathing, therefore, in this paper, to classify asthma sound in thoracic sound, we could discriminate between normal and abnormal case using level crossing rate(LCR) and spectrogram energy rate.
