The vehicle travel time between locations in a downtown is greatly influenced by both complex road conditions and traffic situation that changes real time according to various external variables. The customer's demands also stochastically change by time period. Most vehicle routing problems suggest a vehicle route considering travel distance, average vehicle speed, and deterministic demand; however, they do not consider the dynamic external environment, including items such as traffic conditions and stochastic demand. A realistic vehicle routing problem which considers traffic (smooth, delaying, and stagnating) and stochastic demands is suggested in this study. A mathematical programming model and hybrid genetic algorithm are suggested to minimize the total travel time. By comparing the results considering traffic and stochastic demands, the suggested algorithm gives a better solution than existing algorithms.
As a result of the detailed site investigation performed for the design of a 4.3 km long tunnel, geological anomalies of four fault zones and a rock boundary were discovered on the tunnel route. Most of all, it was confirmed that pyrite, which may corrode steel material, is contained inside the geological anomalies, and pressured ground water flows out of the fault fractured zone. To overcome these geological conditions, antisulfur concrete for the concrete lining and anticorrosive swelling rock bolts are designed in the pyrite-containing sections. For the sections where a great amount of groundwater outflows, water blocking methods including grouting are applied according to the result of numerical analyses on the seepage. In addition, since the past earthquakes occurred around Korea have take place mainly near fault zones, seismic analyses were performed based on the Soil-Structure Interaction (SSI) concept and the strength of concrete tunnel lining is designed to be 27 MPa from 24 MPa in order to reinforce the tunnel structure.
A novel diamine monomer, containing fluorine and phosphine oxide, bis(3-aminophenyl) 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl) phenyl phosphine oxide (mDA6FPPO), was prepared via Grignard reaction, and utilized to prepare polyimides with dianhydrides such as PMDA, 6FDA, BTDA or ODPA, by the conventional two-step route; preparation of poly(amic acid), followed by solution imidization. The polyimides were characterized by FT-lR, NMR, DSC and DMA, with intrinsic viscosity, and adhesive properties were also evaluated. A phosphine oxide containing monomer, bis(3-aminophenyl) phenyl phosphine oxide (mDAPPO) a nd a commercial 3,3'-diamino diphenyl sulfone (mDDS) were also used for comparison. The polyimides with mDA6FPPO exhibited high $T_g$, excellent solubility, and good adhesive properties.

This paper proposes a $O(n^2)$ polynomial time algorithm to obtain optimal solution for Traveling Salesman problem that is a NP-complete because polynomial time algorithm has been not known yet. The biggest problem in a large-scale Traveling Salesman problem is the fact that the amount of data to be processed is $n{\times}n$, and thus as n increases, the data increases by multifold. Therefore, this paper proposes a methodology by which the data amount is first reduced to approximately n/2. Then, it seeks a bi-directional route at a random point. The proposed algorithm has proved to be successful in obtaining the optimal solutions with $O(n^2)$ time complexity when applied to TSP-1 with 26 European cities and TSP-2 with 46 cities of the USA. It could therefore be applied as a generalized algorithm for TSP.
The present research work reports in-vitro anti-cancer activity of biologically synthesized ZnO nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) against human carcinoma cells viz SCC-40, SK-MEL-2 and SCC-29B using Sulforhodamine-B (SRB) Assay. ZnO NPs were synthesized by a unique and novel biological route using Temperature-gradient phenomenon where the extract of combination of Catharanthus roseus (L.) G. Don (C. roseus), Azadirachta indica (A. indica), Ficus religiosa (F. religiosa) and NaOH solution were used as synthesis medium. The morphology of the ZnO NPs was characterized by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). TEM images reveal that particle size of the samples reduces from 76 nm to 53 nm with the increase in reaction temperature and 68 nm to 38 nm with the increase in molar concentration of NaOH respectively. XRD study confirms the presence of elements and reduction in crystallite size with increase in reaction temperature and NaOH concentration. The diffraction peaks show broadening and a slight shift towards lower Bragg angle ($2{\theta}$) which represents the reduction in crystallite size as well as presence of uniform strain. The FTIR spectra of the extract show transmittance peak fingerprint of Zn-O bond and presence of bioactive molecules These NPs exhibit inhibition greater than 50% for SCC-40, SK-MEL-2 and SCC-29B cell lines and more than 50% cell kill for SCC-29B cells at concentrations < $80{\mu}g/ml$. Nanoparticles with smallest size have shown better anti-cancer activity and peculiar cell-selectivity. The combination of extracts of these plants with ZnO NPs can be used in targeted drug delivery as an effective anti-cancer agent, a potential application in cancer treatment.

Permission delegation is an important research issue in access control. It allows a user to delegate some of his permissions to others to reduce his workload, or enables others to complete some tasks on his behalf when he is unavailable to do so. As an ideal solution for controlling read access on outsourced data objects on the cloud, Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (CP-ABE) has attracted much attention. Some existing CP-ABE schemes handle the read permission delegation through the delegation of the user's private key to others. Still, these schemes lack the further consideration of granularity and traceability of the permission delegation. To this end, this article proposes a flexible and fine-grained CP-ABE key delegation approach that supports white-box traceability. In this approach, the key delegator first examines the relations between the data objects, read permission thereof that he intends to delegate, and the attributes associated with the access policies of these data objects. Then he chooses a minimal attribute set from his attributes according to the principle of least privilege. He constructs the delegation key with the minimal attribute set. Thus, we can achieve the shortest delegation key and minimize the time of key delegation under the premise of guaranteeing the delegator's access control requirement. The Key Generation Center (KGC) then embeds the delegatee's identity into the key to trace the route of the delegation key. Our approach prevents the delegatee from combining his existing key with the new delegation key to access unauthorized data objects. Theoretical analysis and test results show that our approach helps the KGC transfer some of its burdensome key generation tasks to regular users (delegators) to accommodate more users.

In an effort to develop alternative single buffer layer technology for YBa$_2$Cu$_3$O$_{7-{\delta}}$ (YBCO) coated conductors, we have investigated both LaMnO$_3$, (LMO) and La$_2$Zr$_2$O$_{7}$ (LZO) as potential buffer layers. High-quality LMO films were grown directly on textured Ni and Ni-W (3%) substrates using rf magnetron sputtering. Highly textured LZO buffers were grown on textured Ni substrates using sol-gel alkoxide processing route. YBCO films were then grown on both LMO and LZO buffers using pulsed laser deposition. Detailed X-ray studies have shown that YBCO films were grown on both LMO and LZO layers with a single epitaxial orientation. A high J$_{c}$ of over 1 MA/cm$^2$ at 77 K and self-field was obtained on YBCO films grown on both LMO-buffered Ni or Ni-W substrates, and also on LZO-buffered Ni substrates. We have identified LaMnO$_3$ as a good diffusion barrier layer for Ni and it also provides a good template for growing high current density YBCO films. Similarly we have also demonstrated the growth of high J$_{c}$ YBCO films on all solution buffers. We will discuss in detail about our buffer deposition processes. processes.s.s.s.s.
As urban traffic congestion and environmental pollution are becoming significant issues in major cities, Urban Air Mobility (UAM) is gaining attention as an efficient solution. In this study, we conducted a geographic information system (GIS)-based spatial analysis and clustering algorithm considering the actual data of the terrain and infrastructure in the Busan area, through which we were able to select the location of vertiports and corridors (flight routes) for the UAM operation. Based on the Gimhae International Airport, which is expected to be the center of the UAM infrastructure system in the Busan region, we judged that three vertiport locations in the target area were suitable. Subsequently, we used the A* (A-star) algorithm considering Ground Risk to select a flight path that minimized both risk and distance. Through this, we confirmed a risk reduction effect of 80.168% compared to the minimum distance route.
A cell-free enzyme solution prepared from suspension cultured cells of Phaseolus vulgaris successfully mediated conversions of cholesterol $\to$ cholestanol and 6-deoxo-28-norteasterone $\leftrightarrow$ 6-deoxo-28-nor-3-dehydroteasterone $\leftrightarrow$ 6-deoxo-28-nortyphasterol $\to$ 6-deoxo-28-norcastasterone $\to$ 28-norcastasterone. Al-though conversion of cholestanol to 6-deoxo-28-norteasterone intermediated by 6-deoxo-28-norcathasterone was not demonstrated, this strongly suggests that a complete set of biosynthetic enzymes catalyzing reactions from cholesterol to 28-norcastasterone via 6-deoxo-28-nor type brassinosteroids is endogenously present in the cells, which demonstrates that a $C_{27}$ brassinosteroids biosynthetic pathway, namely the late C-6 oxidation for $C_{27}$ brassinosteroids, is operative in the cells. Additionally, the enzyme solution mediated conversion of 28-norcastasterone to castasterone in the presence of S-adenosyl-methionine and NADPH, providing that the $C_{27}$ brassinosteroids biosynthesis is an important route to generate castasterone in the cells. Together with our previous finding that castasterone can be biosynthesized by the same biosynthetic pathway in tomato, this study demonstrates that the $C_{27}$ brassinosteroids biosynthesis is a common alternative process to maintain endo-genous level of castasterone, an active $C_{28}$ brassinosteroid, in plants.

In this study, ZnS: Cu nano-crystals are synthesized by solution synthesis technique (SST). The structural properties such as crystal structure and particle morphology, and the optical properties such as light absorption/transmittance, energy bandgap, and photoluminescence (PL) excitation/emission are investigated. In an attempt to realize the Cu-doping easiness, the synthesis temperature (~$80^{\circ}C$) is applied to the synthesis bath, and the thiourea is used as sulfur precursor, unlike other general chemical synthesis route. Both undoped ZnS and ZnS : Cu nano-crystals have the cubic crystal structure and have the spherical particle shape. The position of light absorption edge is ~305 nm, indicating the occurrence of quantum size effect. The PL emission intensity and line-width are maximum and minimum, respectively, for Cu-doping concentration 0.03M. In particular, the dependence of PL intensity and line-width on the Cu-doping concentration for ZnS : Cu nano-crystals synthesized by SST is reported for the first time in this study. Experimental results of the absorption edge and the PL excitation show that the main emission peak of ZnS : Cu nano-crystals (~510 nm) in this study is due to the radiative recombination center in the energy bandgap induced by Cu dopant.
