장해관리를 중심으로 한 품질관리 지원 시스템의 구현 (Implementation of Software Error Management Supporting System)

  • 소프트웨어의 무형성, 비가시성으로 인해 체계적인 품질관리를 실시하는데 어려움이 있으나 구성관리를 통해 소프트웨어를 하드웨어 생산과 같이 일괄적인 품질관리의 시도와 함께 소프트웨어 품질관리 표준요강을 제정하여 이 표준지침에 따라 소프트웨어의 품질을 관리함으로써 효율적인 품질관리를 실시하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 오류의 입력감소 및 조기발견이라는 기본 방침하에 이러한 품질관리활동을 지원하기 위한 소프트웨어 품질관리 지원시스템을 개발하려는 시도로서 소프트웨어 품질관리 시스템을 장해관리 지원기능을 중심으로 살펴보고 장해관리 지원기능을 보조할 수 있는 각종 시각적인 출력 요소들을 정리하였다. 또한, 이러한 소프트웨어 품질관리 시스템을 구축하게 된 배경을 살펴봄으로써 품질관리 표준화에 따르는 문제점 및 기존의 품질관리 도구에서 제기되는 문제점을 고려하여 시스템 구축을 위한 과제와 그 대책을 수립하였으며 끝으로 장해관리 지원기능을 이용했을 때의 효과를 기술하였다.

  • CMMI(Capability Maturity Model Integration) has been recognized as a critical method to validate the competitiveness of software development organization since its introduction. CMMI imposes additional requirements on the software development organization which has been established and certified to the ISO 9001 quality management system. This paper reviews the similarities and differences between CMMI and ISO 9001. This paper also examines what ate required to deploy the CMMI on the aircraft software development organization which has been certified to ISO 9001. The results of this study will help software development organization to provide the direction for implementing CMMI. Some suggestions are presented to identify and strengthen the weak portion of the software process quality management system.

With the advent of information-oriented society. quality control has to transfer to the quality control activities focused on software system instead of those activities focused on hardware system. If so, how do we get to handle the quality control on the basis of the new approach. Also, as software applications have grown. so too has the importance of software quality. In order to manage software quality, the technology to specify and evaluate both the software product quality and development process quality objectively quantitatively is most important. To produce products of good quality, we need a more progressive quality control system according to the need of software development life cycle. In other words, we do software right the first time or build quality in the process. On the basis intermediate and final time or build quality in the process. On the basis of data achieved, we can evaluate the products according to the consequences of the data, What are the problems to contrive the software quality control system?, we con promote the quality of products. To achieved that goal, we con provide a suitable the technique and method of software quality control.

Using a bug record keeping system is exceptionally important in software progress, and it is followed vastly by majority of software producing companies in modern era. Regular application of a bug record keeping system is very helpful in developing software systems. We developed this system which helps the software testing team to keep a complete record of their testing activities during the software testing, also increases your confidence in the software quality, class and worth. Our proposed system offers trouble-free and effortless approaches to acquire desired information about bug, also produces different kinds of reports like summary reports, detailed reports etc. It gives facility to create, delete and update any project. Our developed application system is designed by using visual c# at front end and sql server 2008 management studio express at back end.

A Prototyping Framework of the Documentation Retrieval System for Enhancing Software Development Quality

  • This paper illustrates a prototyping framework of the documentation-standards retrieval system via the data mining approach for enhancing software development quality. We first present an approach for designing a retrieval algorithm based on data mining, with the three basic technologies of machine learning, statistics and database management, applied to this system to speed up the searching time and increase the fitness. This approach derives from the observation that data mining can discover unsuspected relationships among elements in large databases. This observation suggests that data mining can be used to elicit new knowledge about the design of a subject system and that it can be applied to large legacy systems for efficiency. Finally, software development quality will be improved at the same time when the project managers retrieving for the documentation standards.

Experiment design and human reliability in software quality control system

  • This study involves an experiment for the cognitive experiment design and the human reliability in software engineering. Its overall objectives are to analyze common-cause human domain error and reliability in human-software interaction. A laboratory study was performed to analyze software engineers' task behavior in software production and to identify software design factors contributing to the effects in common cause failure redundancy. Common-cause model and its function were developed, then the main experiment using programming experts was conducted in order to define a new cognitive paradigm, in the aspects of identification, pattern recognition, and behavior domain for human reliability and quality control in software development. The results and analytical procedures developed in this research can be applied to reliability improvement and cost reduction in software development for many applications. Results are also expected to provide guidelines for software engineering quality control and for more effective design of human-software interface system.
