간호대학생의 진로행동에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 경로 분석- 사회인지 진로이론을 중심으로 (Path Analysis of Factors Influencing Career Preparation Behavior of Korean Nursing Students - Based on Social Cognitive Career Theory)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify personal, contextual, and cognitive factors influencing the career preparation behavior of Korean nursing students. In this study, an examination was done of the fitness of a path model for the relationship among these factors based on the social cognitive career theory. Methods: The participants were 413 nursing students in South Korea. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires that included self-esteem, social support, self-efficacy, outcome expectation, career decision level, and career preparation behavior. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and path analysis. Results: The factors influencing career preparation behavior were self-efficacy, career decision level, self-esteem, outcome expectation, and social support. The factors influencing career decision level were self-efficacy, outcome expectation, self-esteem, and social support. Conclusion: The findings indicate that self-efficacy is an important factor influencing the career behavior of Korean nursing students. Nurse educators should consider personal, contextual, and cognitive factors of nursing students and develop systemic career guidance programs to help nursing students' career preparation behavior.

Analysis of factors affecting career preparation behavior - Based on the recognition of college students -

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the factors influencing career preparation behavior based on the perception of college students from the perspective of social cognitive career theory and to examine the effect of career barriers and career decision self - efficacy on career preparation behavior And career - decision self - efficacy. The results of the study are as follows. First, career barriers perceived by college students showed a significant positive correlation with career decision self - efficacy and career preparation behavior(-), and career decision efficacy showed a statistically significant correlation with career preparation behavior(+). Second, as a result of linear regression analysis to examine the effect of career barriers on career preparation behavior, lack of self - clarification, lack of job information, and lack of recognition of need were subordinate factors of career barriers. Third, as a result of linear regression analysis to examine the effect of career decision - making self - efficacy on career preparation behavior, goal setting and job information, which are sub - factors of career decision self - efficacy, were analyzed. Fourth, mediating effects of career decision self - efficacy on career barriers and career preparation behavior were analyzed by hierarchical regression analysis. The results of this study confirm that the level of career barrier, which is an important factor in career preparation behavior of college students, should be lowered and career decision self - efficacy should be increased.

여대생의 일가정 다중역할계획의도 예측모형 연구: 사회인지진로이론과 계획행동이론의 통합 (Predictive Model of the Intent of Work-Family Multiple-Role Planning among Female University Students: Integration of Social Cognitive Career Theory and Theory of Planned Behavior)

  • This study presents work-family multiple-role planning by female university students as a new approach to worklife balance. Accordingly, this study examines university years as a key time frame during which students establish their career paths. This study integrates the social cognitive career theory and the planned behavior theory to design and evaluate a model that explains the work-family multiple-role planning process; in addition, it develops an optimal model to predict the intentions of female university students in work-family multiple-role planning. This study has conducted a structural survey with 500 female university students. After inspecting the data, the responses of 435 participants were used in the data analysis (SEM) with SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. The findings include the following. First, suitability of predictive model presents a satisfying fit. The major factors in this study's model (parental support, subjective norms, attitudes toward multiple-role planning, career decision self-efficacy, and outcome expectations) are verified as direct and indirect predictors of the work-family multiple-role planning intent of female university students. Second, the strongest predictive factor for the work-family multiple-role planning intent is the social environment factor (subjective norms), indicating that the influence of social pressure on intent is relatively large. The predictive model formulated under this study's integrated theoretical framework supplements existing research that focused on attitudes toward multiple-role planning as well as provides a more profound theoretical foundation on which work-family multiple-role planning behaviors can be better understood.

사회인지진로이론에 기초한 사회복지학 전공 대학생의 진로준비행동 구조모형 검증 (A Study on the Structure Model of Social Welfare Students' Career Preparation Behavior based on Social-cognitive Career Theory)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지학 전공 대학생의 전공 특성에 부합한 적절한 진로지원방안 마련에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 Lent 등(1994)의 사회인지진로이론에 기초하여 사회복지학 전공 대학생의 진로준비행동에 대한 영향요인을 규명하였다. 조사대상은 사회복지 현장실습을 경험한 3개 대학의 사회복지학 전공 대학생 132명으로, 인지적 요인(결과기대), 흥미요인(전공선택만족), 목표요인(진로결정수준), 수행요인(진로준비행동)의 관계를 분석하였다. 분석에는 SPSS 24.0과 AMOS 24.0를 사용하였으며, 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구모형의 적합도는 CFI=.904, TLI=.887, RMSEA=.068로 통계학적으로 적합한 수준을 보였다. 둘째, 주요변수 간 관련성을 살펴본 결과, 결과기대가 높을수록 전공선택만족이 높아지고, 이는 진로결정수준을 증가시켜 진로준비행동을 높이는 결과로 이어졌다. 이러한 결과는 사회복지학 전공 대학생의 진로준비행동 향상을 위해서 학생 개인의 인지적 요인 및 흥미요인 등을 고려한 맞춤형 진로지원 프로그램 개발이 중요하다는 것을 의미한다.

의과대학생을 위한 체제적 진로상담 모델과 전략 (A Systematic Career Advising Model and Strategies for Medical Students)

  • One of the important roles of medical schools is to support medical students in deciding upon their future career path or choosing their specialty. The purpose of this study is to suggest a career advising model and strategies for medical students through a systematic approach. This study consists of three parts. The first part introduces some main career theories: super's career development theory, career decision-making theory, social cognitive career theory, and ecosystem theory. The second part proposes a systematic career advising model using the results acquired from previous studies and theories. This model considers a medical school as a social system that consists of two domains (internal and external). This social system is considered as a complex where various factors interact with each other: students' individual characteristics, institutional policies and culture, curriculum and learning experience, students' perceived specialty characteristics, and aspects of the external environment such as healthcare systems. The third part suggests some career advising strategies based on a systematic approach that medical schools can apply. These research results can be used for designing career advising courses for medical students, integrating various career advising programs and resources of medical schools, and evaluating the outcomes of career advising programs at an institutional level.

Outcome Expectations and Social Entrepreneurial Intention: Integration of Planned Behavior and Social Cognitive Career Theory

  • The paper examines social entrepreneurial intention through outcome expectations. The proposed model incorporates outcome expectations from social cognitive career theory and theory of planned behaviors. The study also introduces a scale for outcome expectations in social entrepreneurship, including solving social problems, innovation, family tradition of social involvement, meaning in life, prestige and social recognition, competitive and favorite job and wealth. A survey of 279 students was conducted through face-to-face structured interviews. The confirm factor analysis and technique of structural equation modeling were used to explore relationships among latent constructs. Research results show that the outcomes impact only through three determinants of theory of planned behavior and do not have significant impact to social entrepreneurial intention. It suggests that outcome expectations may be a flexible factor. Individual outcome expectations can shift to motivations when facing favorable conditions such as family support, government support, etc. The findings suggest that the ability to predict social entrepreneurial intention of attitude toward behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. The proposed model in this study contributes importantly to the emerging literature on entrepreneurial intention, particularly to social entrepreneurial intention. This study is also the first quantitative study to measure the impact of outcome expectations on social entrepreneurial intention.

사회복지전공 대학생들의 자원봉사활동 경험과 진로결정수준 간의 관계 : 자기효능감과 공동체의식의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Relationship between Volunteer Experience and Career Decision Level of University Students Majoring in Social Welfare : The Mediating Effects of Self-Efficacy and Community Consciousness)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 사회복지전공 대학생들의 자원봉사활동경험과 진로결정수준 간의 관계에서 자기효능감과 공동체의식이 매개역할을 하는지 살펴보고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 Keumboltz의 사회학습이론과 Bandura의 사회인지 이론을 바탕으로 한 사회인지 진로이론을 근거로 하여 연구모형을 설정하였다. 충청북도 소재 4년제 3개 대학의 사회복지전공 학생 260명을 할당표집하여 2019년 9월부터 10월까지 설문조사를 진행하였다. 분석은 SPSS 26.0을 사용하여 상관분석과 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 사회복지전공 대학생들의 자원봉사활동 경험은 진로결정수준에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있으며 이들 관계에서 자기효능감과 공동체의식은 부분매개 효과를 보이는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 사회복지전공 대학생들의 진로결정수준 향상을 위한 개입과 후속연구를 위한 방안을 논의하였다.

전문대학생의 NCS기초능력군과 진로준비행동과의 관계에 관한 연구 : 의사소통능력과 수리능력을 중심으로 (A Study on the Relationships between College Students' NCS Basic Capability Group and Career Preparation Behavior : Focused on Communication Capability and Mathematical Capability)

  • The importance of the NCS(National Competitiveness Standards) is growing as the job market shrinks and more institutions require hiring based on NCS. Of the ten domains of NCS', the most relevant one with the performance of all tasks is basic capability group. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of college students' basic capability group(communication capability, mathematical capability) on their career preparation behavior. In this study, we set up a process model to comprehend the effect of college students' basic capability group on career preparation behavior based on social cognitive career theory. For research model testing, 561 questionnaires were used for empirical analysis through structural equations modeling. Empirical analysis showed that communication capability positively influenced college students' career preparation behaviors for employment. But, mathematical capability don't influenced college students' career preparation behaviors for employment. Next, career self-efficacy and career outcome expectation each positively influenced college students' career preparation behaviors for employment. Also, interest in the major positively influenced college students' career preparation behaviors for employment. The academic implications are as follows: Career self-efficacy and interest in the major were important factors in the communication capability. The process of communication capability affecting career preparation behavior and interest in the major was explained through social cognitive career theory and self-efficacy. The practical implications are as follows: Administrative assistance should be provided to improve the career self-efficacy of college students.

동양계 미국 사회복지사의 진로선택에 영향을 미친 요소들 간의 관계에 대한 연구 (Exploring Relationships of Factors Influencing Career Choices Among Asian American Social Workers)

  • 본 연구는 사회인지직업이론 (Social Cognitive Career Theory)을 근거로, 동양계 미국인의 문화적응도 (levels of acculturation)와 이민 세대 (family immigration status)에 따라 주변인들의 불인정 (disapproval by significant others)으로 인한 진로선택의 어려움과 부모의 진로에 대한 관여도 (parental involvement)가 달라진다는 가설을 검증하였다. 사회조사연구로 설계되었으며 370명의 동양계 미국사회복지사의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 이민세대에 따라 진로선택에 관련하여 부모의 관여도와 주변인들의 불인정으로 인한 진로어려움이 달라지는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 문화적응도는 부모의 진로 관여도와 주변인들의 불인정으로 인한 진로선택의 어려움에 유의미하게 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 진로선택행동에 영향을 미치는 문화적 요인들을 고려한, 동양계 미국인들을 위한 진로상담에 대한 함의가 논의되었다.

고등학생의 정신건강 및 문제행동에 영향을 미치는 요인: 사회인지진로이론에 근거하여 (Factors Affecting Mental Health and Behavioral Problems in High School Students: Based on a Social Cognitive Career Theory)

  • 목적 본 연구는 사회인지진로이론에 입각하여 우리나라 고등학생의 정신 건강 및 문제행동에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위해 수행되었다. 방법 본 연구는 2013년 11월 18일부터 29일까지, S시에 소재한 인문계 고등학교 재학생 384명(남자 186명, 여자 198명)을 대상으로 한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구도구는 개인 배경 변인, 진로 관련 변인(진로장벽, 학습경험, 자기효능감, 결과기대, 진로미결정), 정신건강 및 문제행동에 관한 자기기입식 설문지였으며 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 프로그램을 활용하여 기술통계, 상관관계 및 다중 회귀분석을 하였다. 결과 다중 회귀분석 결과, 개인적 변인으로 스트레스 인지(t=5.12, p < .001)와 평상시 건강상태(t=-4.08, p <.001), 배경적 변인으로 학업성적(t=5.46, p <.001), 진로 관련 변인에서 진로장벽(t=10.57, p <.001)이 정신 건강 및 문제행동에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 결론 고등학생의 정신건강 및 문제행동의 영향요인으로 개인 배경 변인과 함께 진로장벽을 확인하였다. 특히, 진로결정은 발달과정 동안 지속적으로 영향을 받으므로 진로를 선택하는 청소년 후기에 이를 고려한 예방적, 중재적 접근이 필요하다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 청소년의 정신 건강 및 문제행동 수준을 개선하기 위한 중재 개발과 학교보건 및 실무에의 적용에 기초자료로 활용될 것을 기대한다.
