  • This study qualitatively explored the case of users utilizing multiple accounts on one social network service to create their own multiple spaces and different personas. The purpose of the study was to understand the behavior of people who use multiple accounts to express their identity online using Carl Jung's personality theory. We used in-depth interviews and the Zaltman metaphor elicitation technique (ZMET), targeting 19 people in their 20s and 30s who use more than one personal account on Instagram. Creating a shared consensus map using the configuration concept of ZMET derived six personas in relation to Instagram accounts. The motivations for the respondents' self-presentation associated with their personas and self-presentation types shown on Instagram were analyzed in terms of persona and fashion and subdivided into five dimensions: relationship management strategic presentation, self-monitoring presentation, competence demonstration presentation, anonymous presentation, and persona-centered presentation. Each respondent's persona and self-presentation formed by the Instagram account was analyzed.

  • With accumulated nursing research results from older adults, refined middle range nursing theories are evolving in gerontological nursing area. Three middle range nursing theories and framework were reviewed and described. Life transition framework for older adults were developed through research related to relocation and other transitions taken place in later life. Self-efficacy exercise model was developed by extensive research related to rehabilitation of older adults based on self efficacy expectations and outcome expectations concept from social cognition theory. Need-Driven dementia-compromised Behavior (NDB) model was developed by a group of nursing scholars studying dysfunctional behaviors of demented older adults. All of these theories are approaching to practice theory by developing interventions and nursing therapeutics. There are more needs to develop theories for specific gerontological nursing phenomena such as delirium, end of life and self integrity.

  • From being understood as a dwelling, the concept of home is extended to denote belongingness and a sense of attachment in which spiritual, ethnic, religious and historical identities shape a sense of self. Hence, home with its expanded definitions is considered as a cross-cutting and fundamental theme in works by Võ Phiến, one of the diaspora's towering minds who devoted his life to capturing the rich details of Vietnamese culture, its villages and locals. This article pays attention to the cultural space created through Võ Phiến's tuỳ bút written when he lived in Saigon and California. Many representations of home were argued as evidence of subtle influences of the historical and social context on the way Võ Phiến perceived and built his own homeland. By observing disruption and continuity through the expressions of the home in Võ Phiến's writing, we shed light on how Võ Phiến managed to create an indigenous cultural space towards social interactions of Western ideology in South Vietnam from 1964 to 1975.

Therefore, we intended to discover attributes, antecedents and consequences of health literacy through contextual analysis. Method: Following Rodgers' evolutionary concept analysis, we did a literary review. The databases KMBase, KoreaMed, Kstudy, NDSL, and RISS were searched for articles. Among published literature about health literacy, twenty articles which satisfied the inclusion criteria were chosen. Results: Health literacy consists of three attributes: information seeking, information understanding, and information utilizing. Furthermore antecedents are as follows: health status, health belief, socioeconomic status, and information quality. Finally, we were able to explain the consequences of health literacy by showing improvement of self-care and interaction, and a decrease of social costs. Conclusion: We expect this study to guide the direction of future studies, and as a concept analysis that examines the conceptual attributes in the context of health literacy. Based on the result of this study, the design of a standardized tool and the program of health literacy promotion education need to be developed.
