This study investigates the influences of factors such as type and degree of family leisure among parents with five day work weeks on adolescents' perceived family strengths. Its findings are based on questionnaires collected from 525 male and female parents of middle school students. Factor analysis and MANOVA were employed for data analysis and $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ tests for post-hoc analysis. The main findings were as follows. First, adolescents whose parents work five days a week were at a higher level than other adolescents in terms of finances, family ties, communication, and social ties. Second, there were no significant differences concerning adolescents' family strength by type of family leisure. Third, adolescents with more family leisure activities scored higher than others in the areas of manageable strengths, financial levels, family ties, communication, and family social ties. Fourth, among families following the five day working system, adolescents who had more family leisure activities scored higher than the others in regards to manageable strengths, financial levels, family ties, communication, and family social ties. Additionally, where adolescents thought they had fewer family leisure activities, family-oriented adolescents tended to be engaged in higher physical-activity-oriented and hobby-oriented activities in relation to manageable strengths, financial level, family ties, and communication and hobby-oriented adolescents engaged in higher than average amounts of physical-activity, strengthening family social ties in the process. Fifth, concerning families not adhering to the five day working system, adolescents who had more family leisure activities scored higher than others in terms of manageable strengths, financial levels, family ties, communication, and family social ties. As the above results indicate, family leisure activities appear to be a key factor influencing family strength. Therefore, further support should be extended toward developing new forms of family leisure and additional studies should be devoted to the subject.

This study surveyed how retirees' evaluation of starting food service business affects the effectiveness their new business and quality of life, based on personal factors such as entrepreneurship and business-starting capability and environmental factors by using questionnaires. Bootstrapping was carried out in order to find out factors affecting rapidly changing new business environments and retirees' initial intent to start a business so as to verify basic hypothesis about relation between retirees' evaluation of starting food service business (social, economic, and psychological effects) and the effectiveness of their new business and quality of life and confirm whether the effectiveness of the new business acts as a medium between the evaluation of starting food service business and quality of life. In addition, PLS-MGA was performed in order to verify whether the correlations among test factors can be varied according to the kind of job the target retirees had. Having examined the basic thesis, it was found that social and economic factors had significant positive effect on the effectiveness of the new business, and social and psychological factors had significant positive effect on the quality of life. Having analyzed whether the effectiveness of new business acted as a media between evaluation of starting food service business and quality of life, there was no significant effect as a medium. Having studied whether the kind of job of the retirees controlled or affected the relations among evaluation of starting food service business, effectiveness of new business and quality of life, the results were as follows: in the office job retiree group, the greater economic factor led to increase of effectiveness of new business, while social and psychological factors influenced the quality of life; In the physical labor group, the higher social factor resulted in higher effectiveness of new business, which showed significant positive effect on the quality of life. Having researched about which element is considered to be most important in starting food service business, the most important element was found to be dish/menu, followed by staff management, accounting management, business management, and service education. Having analyzed relation between accomplishment and important consideration for starting food service business, "managers with entrepreneurship," "appropriate distribution of time to prepare for starting business," and "operation of practical field education programs" showed higher importance compared to the degree of satisfaction, so it is needed to more concentrate on the above matters. This study intends to raise retirees' awareness of starting business and help them live better life based on the analysis results, and further suggest detailed mechanism and specific operations of factors affecting retirees' decision making on starting business, such that they can use the information as basic materials to make better choices that can lead to successful business.
The purpose of this study was to explore the characteristics of Fashion leadership in relation to social partipation, mass communication, and socioeconomic level among married women living in Seoul. Fashion opinion leadership was measured by Schrank Fashion Opinion Leadership Inventory. Fashion Preference Scale was designed to determinefashion innovativeness. Social parti-cipationana mass communication were assessed by selected items from the inventory of Summer and Kim. Hollingshead's two-factor index and weighting system was selected to assess socioeconomic level. The questionnaires were adminstered to a random sample of married women in Seoul. The date for 214 respondents were analyzed by Pearson correlation, analysis of variance, and t-teat. The results were as followers : 1) Fashion opinion leadership was significantly related to fashion preference. 2) Fashion leadership was significantly related to social participation, mass communication, socioeconomic level. 3) There was a significant difference between fashion leadership and age. 4) Women's occupation had little influence on fashion opinion leadership as well as fashion preference.
The purpose of this study was to clarify differences in the product attribute evaluation in relation to the objective knowledge, subjective knowledge and involvement of apparel. The measurement instruments were developed by researcher on the basis of previous studies in the same field. The subjects of this study were female adults who lived in Seoul, Kyunggi or Incheon areas and quota sampling using age and residential areas was employed. The data were obtained from 603 questionnaires. Data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 10 and LISREL 7.0. Major statistical methods were factor analysis, Cronbach's a coefficient, multiple regression analysis, and structural equation model analysis. The results were as follows: 1. Involvement was related to the consumer knowledge and the knowledge influenced evaluation of intrinsic attributes, social attributes, and economic attributes. 2. The dimensions of objective knowledge significantly influenced intrinsic attributes and economic attributes. The dimensions of subjective knowledge significantly influenced intrinsic attributes, social attributes and economic attributes. 3. Apparel involvement significantly influenced intrinsic attributes, social attributes and economic attributes. Consumers who have higher interest in apparel product but not in trends considered intrinsic attributes more importantly, whereas consumers who care trends considered social attribute more.
This study was carried out to measure job satisfaction and quality of life and to clarify the factors in job satisfaction which influence on quality of life of dental technicians, using developed tools for job satisfaction and WHOQOL-BREF for quality of life. The subjects for this study were 238 people who worked the in the Daegu-Kyungbuk area. The results of this study were as follows; the general characteristics that influenced job satisfaction, were especially education, hobbies, salary level, job career and work hours. The factors that influenced the quality of life, were especially Married status, hobbies, job position, and office hours. All subfactors in job satisfaction were related to each other. Growth-development factor was intensely related with recognition factor. Also, all subfactors in quality of life were in positive relation to each other, especially psychological domain was highly related with social domain. Factors of safety, recognition and accomplishment in job satisfaction intensely affected quality of life. Therefore, It is suggested that social recognition for dental technician should be promoted and it might be needed to adjust office hours and support hobby life.
By investigating structural relationships between personal image and self-efficacy, this experimental study purposes to suggest a direction and the meaning of effective education on personal image. Based on scholars' studies on personal image and self-efficacy, this study extracts a revised questionnaire on personal image. The experimental study proved the relationship between the variables of personal image and self-efficacy by using personal image questionnaires which are extracted from the literature study. For this purpose, we have conducted a questionnaire survey including 234 students from women's university in Seoul. The results of this study are as follows. First, for cognitions on personal image, which are components of the internal image, both the visual image and social image impacting on self-efficacy have a significant efficacy in the self-regulation factor. Second, the satisfaction rates of the components for personal image impacting all the factors of self-efficacy showed a significant effect. Third, the significant results are being obtained from the analysis of differences in self-efficacy according to the levels of satisfaction rates on internal image and social image, which are expected to have effects on the self-efficacy between the groups for all factors. However, according to the analysis of differences in self-efficacy in relation to the levels of satisfaction for visual images, only the self-confidence factor in the self-efficacy is different between the groups.
The youth-pursing syndrome is especially amplified through a variety of media due to medical technology development, increases in social activities, and influence. This study discusses the relationship of youth-pursuing, media appearance information interest, and media contact responses focused middle-aged women. Data were collected from 245 females aged 40-65 in Seoul, Daejeon and Chungbuk area residents. The SPSS WIN 21.0 program analyzed the data by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and regression analysis. Youth-pursuing derived social, psychological, and outward factors. Only an outward factor of these three dimensions influenced a significant media appearance information interest, and media contact response. The regression analysis results for chronological age and cognitive age, cognitive age influenced all variables significantly (three factors of youth-pursuing, media appearance information interest, and media contact response). But chronological age influenced significantly only the media appearance information interest. This study verified the relationship of youth-pursuing and media variables (media appearance information interest and media contact response).
The purpose of this study was to identify the differences in shopping orientation and clothing benefit sought of a group of consumers according to the preference for fast-fashion. Data were collected from a questionnaire conducted on 416 female adults. The results were as follows. First. the factor analysis used to identify shopping orientation involved the following five factors: hedonic. economic. convenient. brand-oriented. and relation-oriented. The dimensions of the clothing benefit sought consisted of fashion. social status. practicality. figure flaw compensation. and sex appeal. Second. the differences in shopping orientation and clothing benefit sought according to the preference for fast-fashion were identified using a t-test. The consumer group preferring fast-fashion exhibited a hedonic. convenient shopping orientation. and the non-preferring group exhibited an economic. brand-oriented shopping orientation. The consumer group preferring fast-fashion pursued fashion and sex appeal clothing benefits. and the non-preferring group pursued social status and practicality clothing benefits.
This study was conducted to identify the characteristics of social carrying capacity at mega-events, especially the 2000 Kwangju Biennale in Korea. In particular, this paper has proposed some management policies for mega events taking into account the relations between social carrying capacity, satisfaction and crowding. The research method was to look into the general characteristics and distributive forms of the location, and then to confirm the possibility of sampling the factors involved in satisfaction degree; last, A factor analysis for causal analysis of perceived crowding was performed. The study needed correlation analysis in order to compare expected crowding and perceived crowding, and performed regression to examine the causality of perceived crowding and satisfaction. The research results were as follows: the correlation of expected crowding, perceived crowding, and the total satisfaction was very low or meaningless. The relation between satisfaction and elements for factor analysis such as convenient facilities and value experience showed partial meaningfulness. The factors of convenient facilities, entrance fee, parking lot use, toilet convenience, and exhibit room use had meaningful results; on the other hand, the factors of value experience showed a meaningful result in the guide service of an event place. In conclusion when those holding an event make a basic project, they should consider management measures for convenience of facilities, proper education for guide service, and systematic guidance. Also, as a method for perceived crowding lower than expected crowding, the study has proposed that it is possible to lower expected crowding by providing appropriate information on the number of tourists expected on the weekends and weekdays. Future research should control variables such as personal characteristics, seasons proper for vacation and holidays, and carefully consider their investigation and design. Moreover, it is necessary to study variables involved in expected crowding of more various space-intensive sightseeing places (mesa-events).
The present study was carried out to investigate the effects of career identity and social support on the career decision-making self-efficacy of women who have experienced career interruption. Furthermore, the aim was to seek effective measures for making a career decision for the successful re-employment of women with a break in their career. From March $3^{rd}$ to April $2^{nd}$, 2018, a survey was conducted targeting 380 career-interrupted, married women with age between 30-50 years and with work experience of more than six months. The selected subjects had received 1-9 months of beauty education from various vocational training institutes, beauty academies, and women's center in Seoul and Gyeonggi region. A total of 361 questionnaires were used for final analysis. The SPSS Program for data analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, exploratory factor analysis, factor analysis, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were employed for the study. The results of this study are as follows. It was apparent that the establishment of a career identity and social support could play important roles in creating a relation with new career decisions for re-employment. Thus, this study aims to provide basic data necessary for the successful career preparation in women with career interruption.
