사회적 바람직성 척도(SDS-24)의 타당화 및 적용 (Validation and Application of the Social Desirability Scale (SDS-24))

  • 지금까지 국내 사회복지연구는 사회적 바람직성의 영향을 다루는 데 매우 소홀하였다. 반면, 국외 사회복지연구는 사회적 바람직성 수준이 높은 조사대상자의 응답을 밝히고 그 영향을 통제하기 위한 다양한 방법을 적용하여 연구결과의 신뢰성과 타당성을 높이고 있다. 사회적 바람직성 척도(SDS-24)는 국내에서 개발된 사회적 바람직성 척도로 자기기만 요인과 인상관리 요인으로 구성된 척도이다. 본 연구는 이 척도의 활용 가치를 높이기 위해 사회복지사와 사회복지학전공 학생을 대상으로 요인구조, 신뢰도, 타당도를 평가하였다. 615명의 사회복지사와 학생을 대상으로 평가한 결과 사회적 바람직성 척도(SDS-24)는 직장인 집단과 학생 집단으로 구분해서 실시된 분석에서 선행연구에서와 같이 자기기만과 인상관리 2개 요인으로 구성된 척도임이 확인되었고 신뢰도와 타당도 또한 양호한 수준이었다. 사회적 바람직성 척도(SDS-24)는 기존의 척도에서는 접하기 어려운 한국적인 내용의 문항들을 담고 있는 장점을 갖는다. 사회복지연구에서 사회적 바람직성의 적용방법을 제시하였다.

대학생의 취업대처행동에 영향을 미치는 관련 변인의 탐색 - 사회인구학적 변인과 개인내적 변인을 중심으로 (A Study on Related Variables of University Students' Coping Behavior Concerning Job-searching Problems)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the related variables of university students' coping behavior concerning job-searching problems. The subjects were 436 senior students (212 men and 224 women) enrolled in a university in Gyeongbuk Province. Survey questionnaires were used to measure undergraduate students' coping behavior concerning job-searching problems, work commitment, their will to accept downward employment, sex role identity, grade, sex, perceived SES, and major. Data were analyzed by means, standard deviations, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe' test, and regression. Results are summarized as follows: (1) Male students' level of active and supportive coping behavior was higher than female students'. Male students' level of evasive coping behavior was lower than female students'. Students who perceive their economic condition as negative were higher in active and supportive coping behavior and lower in evasive coping behavior than the students who perceive their economic condition as positive. (2) The students who were strong in work commitment were higher in active coping behavior, and lower in evasive coping behavior than those who were not. (3) The students who were willing to accept downward employment were higher in active coping behavior than those who were not.(4) The students' coping behavior concerning job-searching problems differed according to their sex role identity. (5) Work commitment and sex role identity were influential variables on university students' job-coping behavior.

Professional Inclination of Library and Information Science (LIS) Students of India: A Study of Socioeconomic Background and Career Choice Factors

  • The purpose of the study is to assess the professional inclination, academic and social background, family status and their occupation, gender distribution, choice of work, and their perceptions of aspirant LIS students. The study examined the various career choice factors and sources of motivation that influence the students of LIS profession. The data has been collected from the 251 LIS students' enrolled five prominent universities of North India. The results indicate that majority of female students join the LIS profession because of employment opportunities. Most of the respondents are from rural areas, hails to middle class families and their educational background in Arts/Humanities and Social Science subjects. Majority of the respondents choose the LIS profession as primary career because for the better employment possibilities. The study recommends the public awareness about the LIS profession in India.

  • Today the social concern about Interior Design gradually requires wide comprehension. Also according to demanders' requirement. Universities cope with speed. Interior Design made by experts for the function and purpose in the conception of decoration. Therefore, Universities we responsible to educate for more capable professional designers. But management is the first concern for Interior Design Company students are going to work at. Interior Design has not the important state yet in Korea, it is hard to manage the company with design alone. As architecture must get admittion, design is apart from construction. but they are worked together in Interior Design. It is true that all the work of construction is Capenters' or technical engineers' work except space design. Of course students are interested in just design not in construction. Students majoring in design need wide understanding of construction not a concept design. but detailed design for construction and proper valuation ability to manage company. I propose component and practical use of nude construction department to understand detailed design.

사회복지 전공 대학생의 취업스트레스와 삶의 질과의 관계 : 회복탄력성의 조절효과 (The Relation between Employment Stress and Quality of Life of Social Welfare Students: Moderating Effect of Resilience)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지 전공 대학생의 취업스트레스와 삶의 질의 관계에 대해 회복탄력성이 어떤 역할을 하고 있는지 살펴봄으로써 이들의 취업스트레스를 낮추고 삶의 질을 향상할 수 있도록 예방적 차원의 개입방안 모색에 도움을 주고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경기도에 소재한 K대학 4학년 전공 재학생 118명을 최종 대상으로 하여 유의표집을 실시하여 조사하였다. 연구결과, 사회복지 전공 대학생의 취업스트레스는 삶의 질에 유의미한 영향을 미치며, 취업스트레스와 삶의 질 간에 회복탄력성이 조절효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 대학생들의 내적 대처자원으로서 회복탄력성의 적용가능성을 보여주었다는 점과 취업스트레스를 낮추고 삶의 질 향상을 위한 예방차원의 적극적인 개입 방안을 제안하였다.

대학생의 취업이행 과정의 어려움에 관한 잠재유형과 정신적 안녕감과의 관계 (An Association between the Latent Profiles of the Difficulties Associated with School- to-Work Transitions and Mental Well-Being among University Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify: (a) the latent profiles of the difficulties associated with the schoolto-work transition (decline in confidence, mood swings, family disagreements, the burdens of familial expectations, economic hardship, and a lack of support) made by university students, (b) predictors (gender, age, grade, university location, co-residence with parents on weekdays, monthly household income, and parental educational attainment) of these profiles, and (c) how the profiles were associated with mental wellbeing. The participants of this study were 311 senior or above students (164 males and 147 females) under the age of 29, who were unmarried and preparing for employment. The findings of this study were as follows. First, the latent profile analysis revealed three distinct profiles: the "low overall difficulties" type (25.4%), the "moderate overall difficulties" type (49.9%), and the "high overall difficulties" type (24.7%). Second, the factors that predicted each profile included gender, age, co-residence with parents on weekdays, monthly household income, and parental educational attainment. Third, the "low overall difficulties" type demonstrated the highest level of mental well-being (emotional, social, and psychological well-being). This study was significant for examining the latent profiles of the difficulties associated with the school-to-work transition made by university students preparing for employment, while also exploring their mental well-being. Based on the results of this study, practical implications, limitations, and suggestions for further study were discussed.

팀 프로젝트 무임승차 방지 방안에 관한 연구 (A Method to Deal with Free Riding in Team Project)

  • 비즈니스 교육 현장에서 학생들의 팀 활동은 매우 흔한 현상이 되었다. 그러나 팀 활동에 대한 학생들의 사회적 태만과 무임승차 현상은 교수자에게 있어서 해결하기 어려운 문제로 남는다. 이에 본 연구는 '넌 해고야' 방식을 우리 대학의 비즈니스 교육 현장에 해당 방식을 적용해보고, 실질적 효과가 있는지 활용가능성을 검증하였다. '넌 해고야' 방식은 2단계를 거쳐 팀 프로젝트 활동을 실시하는 수업에 간단하게 적용할 수 있다. 팀원들은 팀 활동에 참여하지 않는 무임승차자에 대한 구체적 내용을 이메일로 당사자와 교수자에게 동시에 보내 공식적으로 경고하고, 이후에도 팀 참여 활동이 수정되지 않으면 두 번째 이메일로 팀에서 해고시킬 수 있다. 총 257명의 학부 학생을 대상으로 '넌 해고야' 방식의 실질적 효과를 검증한 결과, 무임승차를 방지하고 팀 활동 참여와 학습 동기를 촉진하는 효과적인 기제로 활용될 수 있음이 밝혀졌다.

Social Dimensions of Peer Interaction: Primary School Children Working with English Learning Software

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate social aspects of young EFL learners' interaction at the computer. Data were taken from the interactions of three pairs of fourth-grade primary school children who worked together on English learning software. Their interactions at the computer were videotaped and then all the talk produced by the students and the utterances emitted from the computer were transcribed. As for the analytical tools, the notion of ‘contextualization cues’ (Gumperz, 1982) and the concept of ‘positioning’ (Davies & Harre,1990) were employed. The analysis reveals that the roles of the students were not tied to a certain position, but rather dynamically changed during the course of interactive work according to the situation at hand. The dynamic changes in their positions were realized through various means; their capability in solving problems, their taking responsibility or assigning it to each other, or cooperation. There were also instances of peer teaching and motivated learning. In addition, the students showed autonomy in their learning activity. These findings suggest that both students in a dyad had their own place in performing task activities, contributing to solving problems and getting benefits from peer interaction. Furthermore, students' working together on English learning software may provide an environment which can promote cooperative attitude and responsibility for learning and enhance motivation and autonomy in their learning process.

임상실습 경험 내러티브에 나타난 간호학생의 자리매김 (Analysis of Positioning in the Nursing Students' Narrative of the Experiences of Clinical Practice)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the positioning which was perceived by nursing students from their clinical practice experiences. Methods: The data were 80 narratives of practice experience written by 20 nursing students. Using qualitative contents analysis, nursing students' reflective narratives were analyzed in the aspects of the positioning which including personal characteristics, designated social role, and ethical order. Results: In personal characteristics, nursing students positioned themselves as they had vague fear and cold feet about the physical and personal environment of the clinical setting. In the aspects of the designated social role, they positioned themselves to learn more knowledge and skills of the nursing, to put effort in maintaining good relationship with their patients and other nurses, and to evaluate the nurses on their job performances and professional attitudes. In ethical order, nursing students positioned themselves as a person who worries about their work as a future professional nurse. Conclusion: The result of this study can be used to better understand nursing students and application of the nursing students' narratives in the clinical practice education, and to facilitate positive outcomes and transitions from nursing students to nurses.

치과기공과 교수방법의 효율화를 위한 방안 (The Plan for the Effective Method of Dental Laboratory Technology)

  • This treatise suggests the effective method for the dental laboratory technology teaching plan. It will present concrete practical steps for and audio-visual dental laboratory technology education approach. It will also help students to understand the dental laboratory theory and practice learned in the class and make use of it greatly in the field work. As follows: 1. Instructor should teach interestingly basic dental laboratory technology theory with illustrations and figures on the teaching method. 2. In practical traing class, instructor should teach every step, using audio-visual materials such as slides and video tapes/Instructor and his assist and should show an example to the students. 3. Instructor should make a standard and train the studtnes repeatedly until they come up to it. 4. Students should be skilled in every case through field work during their spare time and vacation. 5. Instructor should also teach job moral and manner to the students so that they can be adapted themselves to the social activities and be successful dental laboratory technician after graduation.
