노인복지분야의 통합적 케어와 사회복지사의 역할 (Integrated Care Setting for the Elderly and the Roles of Social Workers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 노인대상 통합적 케어 프로그램의 구성 요소와 효과를 탐색하고, 이러한 프로그램에서 다학제팀의 일원으로 활동하는 사회복지사의 역할을 기술하는 것이다. 연구를 위해 신속 체계적 문헌고찰을 실시하였으며, 데이터베이스 검색과 수기 검색을 단계적으로 진행하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인대상 통합적 케어 프로그램의 주요 요소는 케이스매니지먼트, 개별케에플랜, 서비스 특성, 클라이언트 욕구중심, 환자교육, 자기관리로 나타났다. 둘째, 참여노인의 케어경험과 건강 및 경제적 측면에서, 결과가 혼합되어 있긴 하지만, 대조군에 비해 프로그램 참여노인에게 어느 정도 긍정적인 효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 통합적 케어 프로그램의 다학제팀에서 사회복지사는 케이스매니저, 케어매니저, 케어코디네이터, 그리고 직접 서비스 제공자의 역할을 수행하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 노인대상 통합적 케어를 준비하기 위해 필요한 교육과 정책에 대한 제언을 하였다.

사회복지심부름센터 효과성 평가에 대한 다층분석 연구 (A Multi-layered Analysis Study on the Effectiveness Evaluation of the Social Welfare Errand Center)

  • 본 연구는 전라북도 사회복지심부름센터의 효과성을 평가하기 위해 이용자의 개인특성 및 종사자 직무환경특성이 이용만족도에 미치는 영향을 파악함에 주목한 연구이다. 분석 자료는 전라북도 각 시·군 사회복지심부름센터 11개소의 이용자 및 종사자를 대상으로 수집한 서베이 자료이다. 구체적인 분석에서는 이용자들의 개인특성은 1수준 독립변수, 종사자의 직무환경 특성은 2수준 독립변수, 이용만족도를 종속변수로 설정한 다음 위계적 선형모형분석 모델을 적용하였다. 분석결과 장애인 가구, 직무가치감, 직무스트레스, 역할과다, 급여만족도가 이용자의 서비스 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미침을 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 분석결과는 종사자의 직무환경특성이 서비스 이용자들의 만족도에 주요한 영향을 보여주는 바로, 사회복지심부름센터 이용자들의 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 직무가치감, 직무스트레스, 역할과다, 급여만족도 등의 종사자의 직무환경 측면들에의 개선이 적극 필요함을 시사하여 준다.

요양보호사 임금결정요인 분석 (Analysis of Wage Determinants of Care Workers)

  • Background: In this study, wage status and wage determinants of care workers were analyzed. Methods: The analysis used database (DB) of long-term care institutions, DB of long-term care institutions, DB of long-term care workers, DB of health insurance qualification, and contribution possessed by National Health Insurance Services. We analyzed the wage status of the care workers from 2009 to 2016 through basic analysis and estimated the factors affecting the wage of the long-term care facilities' care workers using pooled ordinary least squares. Results: The monthly average wage of care workers was raised from Korean won (KRW) 1.37 million in 2009 to KRW 1.52 million in 2016, and the working hours were shortened by 20 hours from 207 hours to 187 hours. Hourly wages increased by KRW 1,329 from KRW 6,831 in 2009 to KRW 8,160 in 2016. The average monthly wage of care workers was affected by gender, age, years of employment, monthly working hours, establishment type, city size, institutional size, the grade of the institution, and management status. In particular, the wage level of the care workers was high when the larger the size of the institution, the better the management status (fill rate), the establishment type is "government and local government" and "corporation," the institutional rating is high, and the facility manager has the first grade of the social worker license. Conclusion: The government should consider aggressive policies to improve the treatment of care workers as well as the quality of long-term care services so that there will be more long-term care facilities that are guaranteed social publicity above a certain level.

  • 본 연구는 사람들 간의 관계를 토대로 하는 사회복지서비스 영역에서 사회적 배제와의 투쟁 전략으로서 사회적협동조합의 가능성을 탐색하였다. 사회적협동조합은 사회복지법인이나 사회적기업과 더불어 새로운 형태의 사회복지서비스 제공기관일 뿐인가? 사회복지부문은 협동조합의 속성에서 비롯되는 효과를 사회통합의 기제로 기대할 수 있지 않을까? 기존의 사회복지기관은 정부와 이용자 사이의 중간 매체로서 기능했다면, 사회적협동조합은 지역사회 안에서 다양한 이해당사자와 협동의 관계 속에서 기능을 수행할 수 있지 않을까? 이런 관점에서 지역사회복지실천모델로서 사회적협동조합의 가능성을 찾아보았다.

  • This study was designed to search for the direction to develop housing service which assists the older people to live independently in their community and provides the systematization of community care. The subjects of the research include 533 older people between the age of 60 to 79 residing in Seoul and 84 welfare officials at a dong(in)-office and 67 social workers working at comprehensive social welfare institutions. The results were as follows: Both demanders and deliverers recognized that housing service for older people was necessary for community care, and, in particular, the deliverers had higher degree of necessity as people charged in welfare service. The most needed service was community alarm service which currently is proceeded partially for low-income and living-alone olders. It needed to expand the scope of the people to be served. It appeared that the need for inside safety measures rather than for housing space or structural problems. It requires less effort and cost for those who need simple repair, such as safety grips or slippery protection, and safety checks. Among financial support services, the need for tax benefits appeared the most necessary service for the older people. It suggested that more 'direct' financial support service is needed for the elderly people.

근로자의 고용상태가 미충족 의료에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Employment Status on the Unmet Needs of Medical Utilization in Workers)

  • Objectives: This study was designed to evaluate whether employment status is associated with the experience of unmet care needs. Methods: This study utilized the Korea Health Panel data from 2012 to 2016. A total of 4,083 workers were selected as baseline subjects in 2012 and were followed for four years. This study used the GLIMMIX procedure under the marginal model while adjusting for covariates. Results: A total of 12.4% of 4,083 people said they had failed at least once to have a treatment or checkup despite the needs. Those more likely to experience unmet care needs were women and people of lower income level, with worse health conditions and chronic disease. Precarious workers, the self-employed, and the unemployed were more likely to experience unmet care needs caused by economic burden than permanent workers (Odds Ratio: 2.14, 2.07, 2.74, respectively). Conclusions: This disparity means that precarious workers and the unemployed are more likely to face barriers in obtaining needed health services. Given their insecure employment status, meeting their needs for health care is an important consideration.

Effects of Nature-Based Programs for Workers in Korea: A Systematic Review

  • The aim of this study was to review previous literature to determine the effects of nature-based program for workers. This systematic review was conducted in accordance with National Evidence-based Healthcare Collaborating Agency's guidance for undertaking systematic reviews for intervention. Literature search was performed using National Assembly Digital Library, Korean Studies Information Service System, and Korea Education & Research Information Service for literature published until March 2019. The participants were full-time workers, and intervention of nature-based programs was conducted in the outdoor, indoor, and indirect nature contact exposures, with comparators in the control group who did not receive the treatment. The results showed that the programs were effective in physical, psychological, and social health. The methodological quality of randomized controlled trials (RCT) was assessed using the Cochrane Risk of Bias(RoB) tool, while non-randomized controlled trials (N-RCT) were assessed using the Cochrane Risk of bias assessment tool for non-randomized studuies (RoBANS). A total of 16 studies were selected for assessment: two RCTs, 10 N-RCTs, and four one-group pretest-posttest designs. Most interventions were provided at the workplace and in the community. There were many kinds of nature-based interventions, and forest therapy and horticultural therapy programs were most common. Various interventions for workers effectively improved job stress, depression, serum cortisol and stress-response. However, the included studies lacked methodological rigor. Future research is needed to evaluate the long-term effectiveness of nature-based programs for workers using rigorous research designs.

Health Care Management According to Occupational Diseases of Beauty Industry Workers

  • Purpose - Beauty service employees who perform emotional labor are becoming an important factor in their duties to be performed at customer contact with the emotional expression norms set and required by organizations and companies. There are health problems for beauty workers due to working environments such as physical, chemical, and social factors. Accordingly, this study presents practical ways to protect the health of beauty workers. Research design, data, and methodology - This review study was conducted by searching PubMed, Google Scholar, Riss, Scopus, and Research Gate. Beauty Health Care, Occupational Diseases, Beauty Industry, Beauty Employees, Work-Life Vallance (WLV). I referred to the keywords such as that. A total of 471 papers were searched, of which 46 were finally included in this study on the PRISMA flowchart. Result: The beauty service industry can be classified as a job with high job stress among the beauty industries, and establishing appropriate measures to effectively help beauty industry workers proves to be an important strategy for maintaining physically and mentally healthy lives. Conclusion - Active research is needed to create a healthy environment with sustainable well-being by identifying physical and mental outbreaks according to the degree of awareness through various causes of occupational diseases such as gender and environment of beauty industry workers.

지역아동센터 종사자의 아동 대상 실천역량 향상 프로그램 평가 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of the Enhancement Program of the Social Work Practice Competency for children of Community Child Center Workers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지역아동센터 종사자의 아동 대상 실천역량 향상 프로그램을 실행하고 그 영향을 평가하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 프로그램은 지역아동센터 종사자 10명을 대상으로 매 120분간 주1회로 5주간 실행되었다. 양적 평가를 위하여 유사실험설계의 비동일 비교집단 설계가 사용되었으며, 질적 평가를 위하여 프로그램관련 기록물 등을 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 그 결과, 양적 평가에서는 본 프로그램에 참여한 지역아동센터 종사자의 사회복지실천기술 숙련도와 클라이언트관계변화 임파워먼트가 유의미하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 질적 평가에서는 종사자의 실천역량 향상, 아동의 변화에 대한 인식, 프로그램의 강점 및 보완점 인식이라는 주관적 경험이 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 아동을 대상으로 하는 대표적인 서비스전달체계인 지역아동센터의 종사자 실천역량을 향상시킴으로써, 지역아동센터 종사자의 실천에 있어 전문성과 효과성을 제고하고 궁극적으로 아동의 건강한 발달 및 정신건강 증진에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

중국 여성근로자의 산업보건 실태에 관한 고찰 (A Review on the Occupational Health Status of Female Workers in China)

  • This study reviewed on the occupational health status of female workers in China, where the half of female population are workers in occupational settings and realizes the importance of occupational health among them, to establish the occupational health management system in Korea as Korean female workers have been increasing for the last few decades. Results of the study were as follows. 1. The proportion of female workers in total workers have increased from 7.5% in 1949 up to 37.6% in 1990. As for the distribution of female workers by industry, manufacturing part has the highest proportion of female workers in total and out of total female workers, the rank was health social welfare (53.2%), community personal service(45.4%) and agriculture forestry fishing(44.1%). 2. The system of occupational health management for female workers was related to superior organization well by administrative district & work place and professionals were distributed to one per ten thousand persons or more, depending on each region's conditions. 3. The regulations of occupational health management for female workers are defined in a variety of fields. Considering the physiological characteristics of female workers, government has tried to minimize the loss due to menstruation, pregnancy, delivery and lactation and has let them have vacations, guaranteeing the health facilities at the same time. Also government has defined the scope of prohibited work to protect legal right of them.
