This study aims to understand the background and characteristics of receiving Hallyu based on the cognitions and attitudes toward Korea and Korean culture in the Philippines. With the background of Business Hallyu and Cultural Hallyu between the two countries, this study conducted the Focus Group Discussion(FGI) research, literature research and analyzed the statistical resources. The economic and cultural exchanges between Korea and the Philippines have been increased by the effect of Hallyu, but the socio-cultural conflicts, such as Kopino issue, crimes related to Koreans have been also grown. Thus, the Hallyu research focused on the Philippines is necessary, and it will be a cruical variable to forecast the socio-cultural relationship between Korea and the Philippines. The FGI research recruited participants in both undergraduates in the Phillippines and the Filippino migrants in Korea. The FGI participants of each group shows the differences of cognitions, attitudes, and actions to consume Hallyu, and the participants of both groups agrees that experiences of contacting Koreans influence on understanding Korea and its culture. The FGI participants have tried to watching Korean dramas, learning Korean languages, and building relationships with Koreans in order to adjust Korean culture. In order to improve the relations between Korea and the Philipines, Hallyu needs to promote its values as the unique culture and also universal culture in the world. Korea should increase understanding of the Filippino culture to overcome cultural differences and make efforts on localize the Hallyu 3.0 in the Phillippines.

This study examined the effect of ego-resilience, function of family, stress of adapting to a new culture perceived by youth from multi-cultural families at Gyeonggi-do on their mental health. In doing so, the study sought to suggest effective supportive visits to enhance their mental health. For this, the study carried out a descriptive analysis, t-test, one-way anova, hierarchical regression analysis among 304 middle schoolers from multi-cultural families living at Gyeonggi-do. The study found following results. The higher youth from multi-cultural family perceived the procedural stress, sub-variable of stress of adapting to a new culture and the lower they perceived emotional control, sub-variable of ego-resilience, the higher depression and anxiety they experienced, resulting in worsening of their mental health state. Based on these findings, the study, in order to enhance the mental health of youth from multi-cultural family and their ego-resilience, discussed and suggested development of psychological/emotional programs, preparation of supportive measures to overcome their stress in the course of their cultural adaptation as well as systematic supplementation of related laws in support of multi-cultural families.

This is the study on the 'Theater State' in the Daehan Empire of the Emperor Gochung in the late 1900 with the theatrical concepts of cultural performance theory which has been useful for investigating historical, social, and cultural collective memories and their transformation mechanism in the society. The performance theory is based in the notion, '$Performativit{\ddot{a}}t$', by which the performance can contain vary performance forms. $Performativit{\ddot{a}}t$ is the notion which points up the certain process that can cause the perceptional emotion communication to the performers and audiences in the performance. The spectacle of a society is also understood and presupposed by the $Performativit{\ddot{a}}t$. Generally speaking, the spectacle has been used of explaining the visual cultural experiences in society. Fundamentally, spectacle had resulted from the latin 'spectaculum', which was used to designate theatrical representation in France. In the case of movie, spectacle was the grand show with showy technological attractions. The spectacle have been to show the political and socio-historical relationships in a society. But in my study, I want to start the premise that the cultural performance planed by the Emperor Gochung in the Daehan Empire has the attribute of 'theater state', which can awaken the certain collective emotion to connect the Emperor and his people in the Daehan Empire period of the Emperor Gochung of the late 1900. In addition to it, I search for the historical collective memories of the Daehan Empire. The government of the Daehan Empire was continuing with its efforts to enforce and recollect the imperial images and authority of the Emperor and his Empire to get the approval of the people and international society. The effect of spectacle consisting of theater state was the concrete effort to establish the collective memories of the Daehan Empire by remodelling and rebuilding the Seoul, the capital of the Empire and performing the national ceremony such as the korean pagent(Gae-Dung거둥) and parade to set the portrait of the Emperor(A-Jin어진), the geo-body of the Empire.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between the community business, performance and the life satisfaction of local residents and to investigate the mediating effects that community business performance has on the life satisfaction of local residents. The results of the study investigating the effect of community business, performance and the residents' life satisfaction mediating effect of performance are summarized as follows: First, there were differences with the economical, environmental, and performance factors pertaining to the participants' age while there were no differences concerning the social-cultural factors and the life satisfaction of local residents. Second, the higher the impact a community business has, the higher the life satisfaction of the local residents have. In addition, the higher the performance in community business, the more ready local residents are to be inclined to be satisfied. Third, economical and environmental factors have direct effects on the life satisfaction of local residents, but also indirectly effect the performance of local residents. In addition, the level of performance that a community business plays has a mediating role in the life satisfaction of local residents.

Focusing on the Chinese market of MSNG (Mobile Social Network Game), perceived flow and satisfaction were designed as parameters, purchasing intention was set up as dependent variables, the purpose of present research is to analyze the factors influencing purchase intention of the paid items in mobile social games by studying the game and personal characteristics in terms of interoperability, accessibility, interesting, operability, innovativeness and challenge. Data was collected by questionnaires, Amos was employed to analyze the relationship between purchase intention and target influencing factors. Results showed that characteristics of game and consumers of MSNG have positive effects on the flow and satisfaction of paid items. Moreover, the flow of paid items in MSNG has a positive effect on satisfaction; the flow and satisfaction of paid items in MSNG have a positive effect on purchase intention. more samples and references should be involved in the further study in order to acheive an comprehensive result on comparative study of the social and cultural characteristics between Chinese MSNG and Korean counterpart.

The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between acculturation stress and university adjustment and moderating role of social support in Foreign students majoring tourism at universities in korea. Data was collected from 250 Foreign students. Then the data and hypotheses were examined using multiple regression analysis and hierarchial regression analysis using SPSS 18.0. The result of this study is as follows. Acculturation stress was negatively related with university adjustment and social support positively moderate the relationship between acculturation stress and university adjustment. Social support is suggested to reduce the negative results of acculturation stress and had a positive direct effect on university adjustment. Findings were this study provide a comprehensive understanding on university adjustment for Foreign students studying in korea. also, acculturation stress, university adjustment and social support were significant variable of institutional attachment. Finally, this study suggested that the university should develop international students program based on cultural difference and more studies are need to identify additional different factors that affect acculturative stress as well as to develop students intervention program for physical and psychological support.

This study examined traditional dance programs in cultural and arts education in local children's centers. We aimed to contribute to the voluntary and active participation of children in cultural and arts education through differentiated cultural and arts educational programs. Interviews were conducted from March 2016- June, 2016 at A Regional Children's Center in Chungnam. Once a week, a 50-minute were held 16 Session as "learning traditional joyful dance". After completing the program, 25 children who participated in the program were asked about the good points and disappointments regarding the program. The interviews used open, structured questions that have been primarily used in phenomenological research. The list of questions was prepared in advance according to the research purpose. The results of the study are as follows: The evaluation of the first program was generally positive. By experiencing activities through cultural and arts education through traditional dance programs for children, children learned to be polite. It also changed positively in conversation. Children who showed negative attitudes toward traditional dance programs gradually participated in activities. Second, I examined the evaluation of lecturers who teach traditional dance. The children's response to the program was positive, with sincere and responsible lecture preparation and progress. The instructor prepared the class in advance, welcomed the children and ran the class in good faith. Instructors who taught traditional dances were proficient in dance, majored in dance and teaching children. The learning effect was high by the instruction of the good dance movement. Rich in lecture experience, he is proficient in dealing with children in class. Material was delivered according to the child's dance level.

Through 'Local Theme Science Museum' aid program that is one of emphasis promotion strategic project by 2007 'Science.Technology.Cultural Project Plan', raises status of scientific technique by national core ability because all people expand base that understand and support scientific technique, and forms a social atmosphere which is scientific technique is important which scientific technique can be spread widely on national life and society whole, and proceeds target that expand local science museum facilities by a base of local science culture spreading and popularization. Accordingly, to plan balanced regional development and utilize to an advanced base of local science culture spreading because offer a science culture experience opportunity to local inhabitants, 'Local theme science museum' project is doing for that establish more 100 science museums for national.public.private institution in whole country until 2012 year. Support 39 projects to 2008 from 1999 thereby, in January, 2009, 13 'Local theme science museum' is opened and operated. This study examined arrangement preferentially about 'Science.Technology.Cultural Project Plan' that is background of 'Local theme science museum' project. Since surveying science museum which is on opening and operation at the present and analyzed actual conditions and facilities and investigated specification necessity and direction of 'Local theme science museum'. Hereafter, to seek plan for propriety of project by characteristic and difference of 'Local theme science museum' is purpose of this study. Now, need set and promotion of following specification direction for right activation of proceeding 'Local theme science museum' by each area. First, differentiation of theme and justifiability of building, Second, propriety of site position, Third, maximization of synergy effect by mixing concept of 'Specialized Economic Zone for Regional Developmental Policy' and Ecomuseum's 'Theme center'.

This article investigated competitiveness evaluation of Korean product in German market that it is the most difficult to entry among EU countries in order to gain the upper hand against other MNCs. Specially, this empirical study analyzed product evaluation by using country image, corporate image and purchase experience. As the empirical results, Korean economy image and general image are significant. This means that German consumers have good image for economic, social and cultural image, so these factors influence product evaluation through halo effect. Also, we analyzed the effect of brand purchase experience and knowledge for Korea on product evaluation of German consumer. The results that country competitiveness and image play a role into product evaluation provide implication that we should make not only country image but also developed political, cultural image.
