Reflective Model of Brand Awareness on Repurchase Intention and Customer Satisfaction

  • This study aims to analyze and confirm brand awareness' role in influencing the repurchase intention both directly and indirectly on customer satisfaction variables and repurchase intention variables. The contribution brought by this study is to reflect manifest variables such as recall, purchase, and consumption. The number of respondents in this study was 200 samples using the online survey data collection method (Google form), while the research approach is quantitative explanatory. The data analysis test tools include the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with AMOS as a statistical data analysis software and Sobel test to indirectly test the relationship. This study consists of four hypotheses, of which three hypotheses are positively and significantly related (brand awareness on repurchase intention, brand awareness on customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction on repurchase intention). Through indirect relationship, namely, brand awareness on repurchase intention through customer satisfaction, the study showed no significant effect. In a comprehensive way, this study emphasizes the factor of customer satisfaction as a determinant of consumer loyalty and repurchase intention. Therefore, creating optimal customer satisfaction, service excellence, promotion and massive advertising, guaranteeing the safety and ease-of-use apps, and ease of shopping, especially for e-commerce industry, is a serious concern.

Influence of Nurse Managers' Authentic Leadership on Nurses' Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction: Focused on the Mediating Effects of Empowerment (간호사가 인식한 간호관리자의 진정성 리더십이 조직몰입 및 직무만족에 미치는 영향: 임파워먼트의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the mediating effect of empowerment in the relationship of nurse managers' authentic leadership, with nurses' organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Methods: The participants in this study were 273 registered nurses working in five University hospitals located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The measurements included the Authentic Leadership Questionnaire, Condition of Work Effectiveness Questionnaire-II, Organizational Commitment Questionnaire and Korea-Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson correlation coefficients, simple and multiple regression techniques with the SPSS 18.0 program. Mediation analysis was performed according to the Baron and Kenny method and Sobel test. Results: There were significant correlations among authentic leadership, empowerment, organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Empowerment showed perfect mediating effects in the relationship between authentic leadership and organizational commitment. It had partial mediating effects in the relationship between authentic leadership and job satisfaction. Conclusion: In this study, nurse managers' authentic leadership had significant influences on nurses organizational commitment and job satisfaction via empowerment. Therefore, to enhance nurses' organizational commitment and job satisfaction, it is necessary to build effective strategies to enhance nurse manager's authentic leadership and to develop empowering education programs for nurses.

Mediating Effect on the Relationship between the Mental Health and Well-being of High School Students Focused on Resilience, Self-esteem, Social Support (고등학생의 정신건강과 안녕감 관계에서 극복력, 자아존중감, 사회적 지지의 매개효과)

  • Purpose : The aim of this study was to test the mediating effect of resilience, self-esteem, and social support on the relationship between the mental health and well-being of high school students. Methods : This structured questionnaire survey was conducted with 409 high school students in G province. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 program with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, regression analysis and sobel test. Results : As a result, there were significant correlations among mental health, resilience, self-esteem, social support, and well-being. Resilience and social support showed partial mediating effects on the relationship between the mental health and well-being of high school students. Self-esteem showed a fully mediating effect. Conclusion : Therefore, to reduce mental health problems among high school students and to enhance their well-being, it is necessary for schools to develop mental health education programs and to apply effective mental health improvement strategies using resilience, self-esteem, and social support as mediators.

Mediating Effects of Resilience on the Relation between Emotional Intelligence and Self-Efficacy on Career Decision-Making in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 감성지수가 진로결정자기효능감에 미치는 영향: 회복탄력성의 매개효과 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the moderating mediation effect of resilience, on the relationship between emotional intelligence and self-efficacy in career decision-making of nursing students. The participants were 136 nursing college students in the Jeonbuk region. Data was collected in September 2020 via a structured questionnaire survey. The data was analyzed using the SPSS/23.0 program. The analysis used descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, multiple regression analysis, and Sobel's tests. The results showed that emotional intelligence was a circle activity (F=3.13, p=.047), and motivation to nursing (F=4.16, p=.008). Resilience was a circle activity (F=5.50, p=.005), and nursing major satisfaction (t=2.19, p=.031). Career decision-making self-efficacy showed significant differences in grade (F=3.12, p=.048) and major satisfaction (t=2.36, p=.020). Emotional intelligence and resilience (r=.63, p<.001), emotional intelligence and career decision-making self-efficacy (r=.67, p<.001), resilience and career decision-making self-efficacy (r=.76, p<.001) showed significant static correlation. In emotional intelligence and career decision-making self-efficacy, resilience had a partial mediating effect (Z=6.48, p<.001), and explanatory power was 62.2%. Based on the results of this study, to improve the emotional intelligence and career decision-making self-efficacy of nursing students, it is necessary to develop a personalized and resilience-enhanced education program.

The effects of Social Capital of old-old elderly of more than 70-year-old on their health-related quality of life (70세 이상 후기노인의 사회적자본이 건강관련 삶의 질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was examined the effects of social capital influenced on health related quality of life of old-old-elderly of more than 70-year-old. The subjects were 258 people of old-old-elderly of more than 70-year-old who dwell in M city. The first, October 15 to November 15, 2013, the second, December 1 to 30, 2014 were surveyed. The data were analyzed with SPSS Statistics 18.0 and the structural equation modeling of AMOS 21.0. The Sobel test was conducted to analyze the statistical significance of the mediated effects. The factors of health-related quality of life were influenced significantly by gender, education level, whether or not exercise, amount of sleeping time, family can be a help request, relatives can be a help request, general trust. In the results of the test of the research model, social capital was found to directly affect health behavior, and health behavior was found to directly affect health related quality of life. Therefore, social capital was found to indirectly affect health related quality of life. Social capital of old-old elderly of more than 70-year-old can be recognized as one of the factors influencing their health related quality of life. The results suggest that policy should be established to increasing the level of social capital and improved the health related quality of life.

Mediating Effect of Empathy in the Relationship between Communication Skills and Interpersonal Relationship of MZ Generation Nursing Students (MZ세대 간호대학생의 의사소통능력과 대인관계유능성의 관계에서 공감능력의 매개효과)

  • This is a descriptive research study to confirm the mediating effect of empathy in the relationship between communication skills and interpersonal relationship of MZ generation nursing students. The subjects of this study were 129 nursing students born in 1981 to 2006, corresponding to the MZ generation, and the data collection period was from May 20 to July 30, 2023. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 program, and the mediating effect of empathy was tested by Baron and Kenny's three-step mediating effect verification procedure, and Sobel test was conducted to test the statistical significance of the mediating effect. As a result of the analysis, communication skills (β=.45, p<.001) and empathy (β=.18, p=.008) had a significant effect on interpersonal relationship. These variables were found to have 48.4% explanatory power for interpersonal relationship. Empathy had a partial mediating effect (z=2.39, p=.016) in the relationship between communication skills and interpersonal relationship. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of the MZ generation familiar with the non-face-to-face culture that will be in charge of future nursing and to develop effective programs to improve their interpersonal relationship.

  • Edges represent significant boundary information between objects or classes. Various methods, which are based on differential operation, such as Sobel, Prewitt, Roberts, Canny, and etc. have been proposed and widely used. The methods are based on a linear convolution of mask with pre-assigned coefficients. In this paper, we propose an edge detection method based on Dempster-Shafer's evidence theory to evaluate edgeness of the given pixel. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown through experimental results on several test images and compared with conventional methods.

The Relationship between Mother Attachment and Depression: The Mediation Effect of Peer Attachment in School Aged Children (학령기 아동의 모애착과 우울 관계에서 또래애착이 미치는 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediation effect of peer attachment on the relationship between children's depression and mother attachment. The respondents in this study were 697 school aged children attending elementary schools in Daegu and Gyeongbuk Province. Questionnaires, which required self-reporting by children, were used to investigate mother attachment, peer attachment and depression. The collected data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) and Sobel test using AMOS 8.0, and SPSS 15.0. The results of the study were as follows. Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) revealed that peer attachment partially mediated the relationship between mother attachment and depression. First, mother attachment had a direct effect on peer attachment. Second, peer attachment had a direct effect on depression. Third, mother attachment had an indirect effect on depression as a mediated effect of peer attachment.

A Study on the Relationship between Attachment and Subjective Well-Being: Focusing on Mediating Effects of Interpersonal Relationship (대학생의 애착과 주관적 안녕감과의 관계: 대인관계 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of interpersonal relationship on the relationship between attachment and subjective well-being of university students. We conducted a survey on 336 university students in Andong-si and Cheongju-si. The data were analyzed by Pearson's productive correlation, hierarchical regression analysis and Sobel test. The results were as follows: First, affective well-being made an effect by avoidant attachment and anxiety attachment, and was more affected by interpersonal relationship than anxiety attachment including mediating variable of interpersonal relationship. Second, there was a significant effect in cognitive well-being only by anxiety attachment. Including mediating variables of interpersonal relationship, cognitive well-being affected by interpersonal relationship only. Third, interpersonal relationship mediated partially the relationship between attachment and affective well-being, and perfectly between attachment and cognitive well-being.

The mediation effect of depression between self-esteem and academic motivation in dental hygiene students (치위생과 학생의 자아존중감과 학습동기의 관계에 대한 우울의 매개효과)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of self-esteem on academic motivation, and the mediating effect of depression in dental hygiene students. Methods : A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 401 dental hygiene students for 2 weeks in June, 2014 in Ulsan and Daegu. The data were analyzed by a descriptive analyses, Pearson correlation, multiple regression analysis and Sobel test. Results : Self-esteem had a significant influence on academic motivation and self-esteem had a significant influence on depression in the dental hygiene students. Conclusions : Depression had a partial mediation effect on the self-esteem and academic motivation.
