  • Museums contain a significant meaning as a place that reflects empirical knowledge that have been accumulated socially and scientifically in overall life of the public and provides the opportunity to enjoy prestigious culture, while serving as the extended place of education. The first objective of this study is to increase the accessibility of general public through the development of online museum programs as service contents and to present the ultimate direction the development of in art appreciation contents that can effectively expand the infrastructure of culture and art. Second, the effectiveness of online art appreciation programs by registered private museums, which continuously develop smart media-based online museum contents and systemization of archive as the distribution rate of smart devices is increased due to generalization of digital environments, was analyzed by each case to examine the objective distinctions strategies. Third, in terms of museum visitors and smart contents users, this study examines the expected effects of popular distribution by seeking various ways that can enhance the desired exhibit appreciation and autonomous utilization of educational programs, while not being restricted by the physical accessibility and limitation of space at the museums. The subjects of this study included cases of BoroomSan Museum, Savina Museum of Contemporary Art, Imageroot, Sangwon Museum of Art, Hello Museum, etc. and the online smarts contents art appreciation educational programs by registered private museums were analyzed. Results expected to achieve from such processes are as follows. First, the possibility to expand cultural participation in museum exhibition appreciation and museum education infrastructure became widen. Second, the educational program resources can be utilized as the culture and art asset that strengthens the museums' responsibilities in their social role. Third, museum archive can be constructed in more systematic way, and the efficiency of museum archive system can be enhanced to maintain the museum collection database in a consistent format. Fourth, the museum's smart contents users' continued access to museum's online contents may induce the exhibition effect of the site and voluntary participation in education, and can also expect an economic synergy effect as the users become potential visitors that may actually visit the museum in the future.

  • Advances in information and mobile technologies have changed the traditional firm ways of working very flexible, collaborative and innovative, resulting in the changes in work place structures and layouts. Despite the growing body of literature examining the novel ways of working, which is called smart work, there is little academic attentions paid to the spatial aspects of new work places, namely smart offices and smart work centers. This research explores the spatial changes of work places that improve business efficiency and collaboration among workers suitable for the novel ways of working. Conducting in-depth field surveys on selected cases, we analyzed the changes in spatial structure and operation policies of smart offices and smart work centers. From this survey, we observed that the new work places under study take various novel spatial forms and they have flexible operating policies such as flexible seating and flexible work hours. We also found that it would be difficult to change existing business practices and typical ways of performing tasks, without changing the bureaucratic spatial designs and layouts. Future studies are suggested to examine how spatial structures and layouts of offices have impacts on space utilization, collaboration, creativity, and job satisfaction.

  • Purpose Smart farms play a leading role in changing the safety food culture for the citizens. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that are important to covid 19-response in the case of ICT smart farm. To do so, we classified the factors as operating effect aspect and industrial wave effect aspect of the smart farm. Design/methodology/approach This study was conducted by visiting Geumsan County, which is attempting to perform a smart farm. Through interviewing farmers representatives based on their operational effect expectations on the smart farm, we derived the industrial crash effect factors and thereafter designed the research model. This study applied AHP, which is an expert decision-making method cans be used to measure relative importance for determining priorities. After interviewing the experts with smart farm, we obtained the factors which are important to smart farm development. Findings According to analysis, the productivity improvement factor was ranked as the most important among the operational effect items. This is consistent with the ultimate goal of smart farms with ICT convergence technology, which is increase the profitability of agriculture. The second place is the factor in the development of infrastructure and infrastructure, and the third and fifth positions were export expansion, environmentally friendly management, and job creation in terms of operational effectiveness.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigates the effect of SMEs' digital transformation efforts in O2O platforms on customer engagement. This study focuses on digitalization, which is a practically viable phase for SMEs using O2O platforms among the three digital transformation stages (digitization, digitalization, and digital transformation). This study specifically categorizes digital transformation efforts into three categories: information diversity, responsiveness to customers, and the degree of functional use. To analyze the impact of these efforts on customer engagement, we conducted a zero-inflated negative binomial regression using the dataset provided by Naver SmartPlace, a representative O2O platform in South Korea. The results present that the positive relationship between these aforementioned factors and customer engagement. Thus, this study demonstrates that utilizing O2O platforms can be an effective strategy for SMEs that lack the resources to achieve a successful digital transformation.

  • In the recent years, IT and Network Technology has rapidly advanced environment in accordance with the needs of the times, the usage of the smart learning service is increasing. Smart learning is extended from e-learning which is limited concept of space and place. This system can be easily exposed to the various security threats due to characteristic of wireless service system. Therefore, this paper proposes the improvement methods of smart learning system security by use of faults analysis methods such as the FTA(Fault Tree Analysis) and FMECA(Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis) utilizing the consolidated analysis method which maximized advantage and minimized disadvantage of each technique.

  • With the development of information and Internet technology, traditional museums have been long followed the trend of integrating innovative technological elements into the changed museums. It is necessary that the museums seize the opportunity of the trend transforming into smart museums, the key is to grasp the characteristics and laws of the Internet era, and use Internet thinking to explore the future development path. However, there are few studies on Internet thinking among the existing results. On the other hand, most of the relevant actual case studies still focus on the micro-level, which has obvious limitations. This paper will start from the current situation and trend, focus on the Palace Museum as a case study object, and discuss the problems and characteristics, so as to put forward the thinking about the development of smart museums in four aspects to explore the optimal path of transformation for smart museums.

  • With the advances of information technologies, the interest in SmartWork including extended version of telework and flexible work are increasing, and various types of SmartWork attempted to make working time and place flexible with the goal of work and life balance. Despite its emphasis on work and life balance, SmartWork is expected to make the boundaries between work and nonwork blur and role conflicts occur more than before, and thus the goal of work and life balance becomes more distant. A number of SmartWork users are significantly increasing in Korea, but little is known concerning the antecedents and mechanisms to explain psychological work and interferences in the SmartWork environment. In this paper, using boundary theory, we empirically investigate factors affecting the interferences at both work and nonwork domains. The results, based on data collected from SmartWork users in one of the biggest telecommunication companies in Korea where SmartWork is adopted and extensively used, suggest the factors may be affecting differently interferences at the work and nonwork domains.
