Virtual Reality (VR) is widely used in various fields, and it is expanding game and movie toward health care, business Software, education, and web services. Especially various researches are actively conducted in the field of exhibition, utilizing smart phone based detachable HMD (Head Mounted Display). The VR exhibition solves addresses both temporal and spacial constraints overcoming the unilateral information transfer exhibitions. This paper presents a method to overcome the limitation of time, space, and unidirectional information transfer in offline exhibition, and also presents a new method that utilizes multimedia visual design artwork as VR contents.

Purpose An increase in the number of fitness apps across the world is a testament to the growing interest in health. As focus on medical services shifted from treatment to prevention, this type of app plays an essential role in promoting one's health and exercise management. Yet little has been known about practical effects of fitness apps in existing literature thus this study searches for factors that affect daily use of fitness apps and examine the relationship between app usage and exercise patterns. Design/methodology/approach This study surveyed people who used Cashwalk, the pedometer app for a minimum of a week to analyze reasons why they used the app. Particpants' exercise patterns were also recorded. By examining survey results of fitness app users and developing a research model based on the Customer Value Theory, this study provides real-life factors to the fitness and smart health care industry that will adopt a proactive lifestyle pattern. Findings Empirical analysis proved properties such as the complexity of fitness apps, monetary rewards, exercise monitoring and the enjoyment of using fitness apps contribute to using fitness apps on a daily basis. Furthermore, more daily use of fitness apps was shown to have a greater impact on exercise. This study also confirmed that social comparison does not affect the daily use of fitness apps and the amount of exercise, and the habitual walking was proved to directly affect the amount of exercise.

The goal of this study is to find why the consumers are reacting slowly or negatively toward smartwatches. Even though, smartwatches provide useful information such as health care and text message, the market was not growing fast as expected, and seems to be stagnant at this point. Thus, the future market predictions are varied. To find out why this may have happened, a Q-method study using non-adopters was conducted. In order to find out depth explanations from each interviewers, the research team chose the Q method and Q sorting to classify the different reasons for non-adopters. Based on the interview, all participants were clustered with into groups with similar patterns of the answers. The research team classified the interview group to three categories 1) Technology Discontent 2) Service Discontent 3) Indifferent. The research team analyzed each category reasoning and logics. Also the team compared the result to the technology chasm as it was proposed by Rogers (1969) to measure the maturity of the consumers.

It is a descriptive study for the relationship between appearance management behaviors and mental health of some female college students. We analyzes 433 self-administered questionnaires from March to June 2017 for female students who enrolled in three-year colleges in Seoul and Gyeonggi province, South Korea. The conclusion is as follows. We used IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0(SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA) for the analysis by person's characteristics, t-test and one way ANOVA, multiple regression analyses. The second-year grade shows higher points than the first-year grade in appearance management behaviors and mental health level(p<0.001, p<0.05). In addition, when students has the higher level of the household as the humanities students, they have higher level of mental health level(p<0.001). The most influential factors affecting the mental health level of female college students are domestic economic level and cosmetic management behavioral factors. The level of mental health was higher in the middle and upper group of the domestic economic level. When they do more cosmetic management behavior, they have lower the mental health level. In conclusion, it is deemed necessary for students to attend intensive and sufficient counseling with an academic advisor. The continuous attention through school counseling management services depending on grade, domestic economy level, and cosmetic management behavior is necessary in order to enhance the level of mental health for female students. In addition to that, the college needs to develop individual customized psychology counseling and educational programs through U-mental healthcare service in order to lessen the great pressure of sensitive information and provide mental consultation. The college needs to consider students' characteristics and needs from the results of this study. It is considered that a smart mental healthcare program will be needed to identify mental health of the individual through the systematic approach.

With the advent of the fourth industrial revolution in recent years, the field of health care services is getting attention again. Accordingly, personalized medical systems through smart products are emerging in various forms. With the use of wearable tech and sensor system, health management and monitoring can be done anytime, anywhere without help of others. However, healthcare services for pregnant women are very scarce. Due to the low fertility rate the number of obstetrics and gynecology is decreasing and as a result, environment surrounding the uncomfortable pregnant women is getting worse. Pregnant women are unable to take a comfortable sleeping posture due to pregnancy. Various environmental factors such as noise, temperature and humidity decrease the quality of sleeping of pregnant women and hinder happy preaching. The purpose of this study is to develop a UI design that can manage sleeping by providing good sleeping posture information and improved sleeping environment for the health of pregnant women. We expect to apply the sensor technology of the 4th industrial age to maximize the sleep quality and quality of life of expectant mothers.

As IoT technology has gained the attention all around the world, the development for various services of healthcare, smart city, agriculture, and defense based on IoT is in progress. However, it is likely that healthcare services based on IoT have a problem of being leaked of patients' biological information by a third party and that risks patients' lives. In this paper, an IoT health care service managing model based on location sensor is proposed, which secures the biological information of a patient and simplifies the procedure to process the treatment and administration steps by using the data resources sensed. Even when an emergency occurs, this proposed model can respond quickly using the location information of the patient, which enables the staff in the hospital to locate the patient in real time. In addition, there is an advantage to minimize the time and the process of care, because the location of the equipment for necessary treatment is possible to be instantaneously located with attached sensors.

The development of bio-sensing technology made it easy to collect various biometric information that was only available in large medical devices. The miniaturization of sensors makes it simple to carry out various health checkups that It did in person to the hospital by improving the portability of diagnostic devices. It is able to combine sensors into portable devices such as Smartphones, apply advanced Internet of Things (IOT) technology, and create new form factors for medical devices such as ultra-small modules that can be inserted or attached to their bodies. The results can be checked immediately through portable information devices such as smart phones. Although commercialization is still slow in Korea, new technologies are being applied in various ways in countries such as the United States that have granted remote medical services. Medical demand, supply and cost in South Korea are growing ahead of a super-aged society. Under these circumstances, attention is focusing on whether smart healthcare, a new concept, can complement the existing medical system. This study identifies the technology trends associated with smart health care and categorizes various healthcare products in the UX design aspects. In addition, the UX design approach and guidelines for applying smart healthcare technologies to the elderly, the intended users, are presented. This research will provide a reference to a new social issue, the UX-design approach to solving the problems of the aged society.

The purpose of this study was conducted to explain the intention of use of IoT (internet of things) healthcare service for elderly using TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). The exogenous variables were professional support, personalization, interaction, and convenience, The endogenous variables were usefulness and intention. Data were collected from 220 elderly residents aged 65 over in welfare center and were analyzed using structural equation modeling using AMOS 25.0. The result of this study showed that professional support and personalization did not significantly difference perceived usefulness, and there were significant differences interaction, and convenience. Futhermore, perceived usefulness influence intention of use of IoT healthcare service for elderly. IoT health care service for elderly is affected by perceived usefulness. This study systematically verified the elderly's intention of using IoT-based smart healthcare services. The result of this study would be able to be used as basic data for preparing strategies to enhance their intention to use the services.

This study surveyed residents and public officials for the projects to make smart-city plans of Geumsan-gun. First, domestic and foreign cases related to smart city projects were reviewed. The local status of Geumsan-gun was investigated regarding various aspects of the natural, social, urban environment, and smart-city facilities. The survey results were as follows. Overall, more than half of the survey respondents said they were satisfied with their housing quality. Several problems in their areas, such as inefficient welfare system, shortage of parking space, and industrial infrastructure, were reported. On the other hand, tourism and leisure facilities, health care support systems, industries to boost the economy, and the job market were also important issues. The problem was that the regional problems mentioned above were not in line with their preferences for smart-city services. The implications of the survey results could be summed up as follows. The groupware surveys of Geumsan-gun should be used as survey tools, whereas IT survey tools (Google, Survey Monkey, etc.) should be used for locals. In particular, a survey targeting residents should ask plain and compact questions taking advantage of local gatherings. It is also important to have a pilot-survey with relevant public officials and select related projects and regional issues. The survey of local residents and public officials is a prerequisite for promoting smart city projects. The smart city project shall reflect the needs of residents while solving community problems by considering the survey results and local conditions.

This study uses the bidet 4D double diamond design process model to propose an improvement for "senior-oriented bidet product service design" that reflects the characteristics and needs of seniors. This study was based on the product service system concept. To this end, qualitative research on seniors was conducted to derive user value factors, and, based on this, product service ideas were discovered, and a prototype reflecting the usefulness review of a working-level expert group was proposed. First, a "smart application service for user-customized function setting guide" was proposed. A bidet incorporating Internet of Things technology and a smart phone are linked to provide an app service that automatically interprets user characteristic information and information on bidet products to guide customized functions. Second, a control panel and remote control user interface to "user-oriented product service interface" was proposed. In consideration of the usability and cognitive ability of seniors, a simple and intuitive physical user interface such as a configuration centered on main functions, button arrangement according to task sequence, and a touch screen remote control was presented. Third, we proposed a "bidet care service linked with products and health/hygiene care" that provides a wide range of services such as user health and hygiene, cleanliness, entertainment, etc., in addition to regular bidet product service. This study proposed a product-based service design methodology that can improve user experience and relationship quality by discovering and improving the pain points and needs of users (seniors) in the process of using bidet products (before, during, and after use).
