In this paper, we propose an electronic attendance management system using the bluetooth function of the beacon and BLE advertising function of the smart phone. In the beacon-only bluetooth attendance confirmation system, it is needed more than one beacons according to the class room sizes. A BLE advertising function based attendance confirmation system can not provide the information about the location of the attendances. In the proposed system, we can identify the location of the instructor using the beacon of the class room, and confirm the attendances by checking the position of the attendances's smart phone. In this system, we can achieves the goals of electronic attendance management system using only one beacon per a class room.

The teaching method of colleges and universities is traditionally lectures then professors has described orally in class and students has listened to accompanying with papers, mid-terms, and final exams. Jon Bergmann and Aaron Sams have developed new way of teaching called flipped learning; Classwork at home and homework in class. By adapting the method, this paper researched how efficient it is and what factors tutors should consider for better results. Specifically this research examined the flipped learning applying to basic 3D graphics class of J University in Korea and students answered surveys and took a couple of tests. Since the most students of the class did not have any background of 3D graphics, it was the first time for them to work with 3 dimensional space coordinate system. As a result, the research showed positive side of flipped learning like increasing peers' interest to the class and positive attitude about video lectures watched before coming to class.

2020년 이후 학교에서는 온라인에서 수업하는 것이 일상이 되었으며 동시에 교사들에게는 스마트기기와 앱을 활용하여 수업을 설계하고 진행하는 역량이 중요해지고 있다. 이에 이 연구에서는 온라인으로 스마트기기와 앱을 활용하여 수업을 시연하는 것이 향후 실제 현장에서 그것을 활용하여 수업하고자 하는 예비교사의 의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 예비교사의 스마트교육 역량 향상을 위한 설계 원칙에 따라 수업을 설계하고 예비교사를 대상으로 그 수업을 진행하였다. 이후 UTAUT모델에서 비롯한 변인인 성과기대, 노력기대, 사회적영향, 자발성, 활용의도, 촉진조건을 수업 전·후에 각각 측정하고 대응 표본 t검정을 통해 수업의 효과성을 검증하였다. 그 결과 촉진조건을 제외한 모든 변인에서 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 온라인 수업 시연 교육이 예비교원으로 하여금 스마트 교육이 필수가 되어버린 교육현장에 보다 실제적으로 적응할 수 있게 하는 한 가지 방안이 될 수 있음을 시사한다.

The Purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the Smart reading program, Smartree, in an elementary English class. Recently in Korea, the use of smart technologies in education has become an issue with the introduction of a new educational platform and increased social interaction between teachers and students. The Smart learning paradigm is converging with technology and social learning. This study examines an English reading method using smart technology and how it affects the improvement of elementary students' reading ability, we also suggest effective reading methods related to Smart learning suitable for this new educational trend. The results showed that the use of a tablet PC based Smartree reading program had meaningful effects on both improvements of cognitive reading ability and changes in affective attitude.

This special issue focuses on Smart Tuned Mass Dampers (STMD) that are either active or smart or semi-active in nature. Active tuned mass dampers or active mass dampers have found wide acceptance and have been implemented in many tall buildings and long span bridges. Recently researchers have developed a new class of smart tuned mass dampers using either variable stiffness and/or variable damping to effect the change in instantaneous frequency and damping. Since tuning plays a central role in STMDs it is of great current interest thus the topic of this special issue. Discussions of recent active and smart TMD implementations in tall buildings and bridges are also included.

본 연구의 목적은 고등 수학교육에 있어서 스마트 러닝의 특징적 적용을 통해 교육환경의 확장과 학습자 역량의 확장을 시도하고 그 효과성을 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구는 2017년 G대학에서 1학년 학생들의 공학인증 과목 중 하나인 미적분학I을 수강하는 화공생명학과 학생들 118명을 실험집단과 비교집단으로 분리하여 스마트러닝의 효과성을 검증하였다. 즉 수업에서 공학도구를 활용한 다양한 학습활동과 SNS를 통한 교수자와 학습자 간의 활발한 상호작용이 시각적 이해와 수학적 개념형성, 그리고 학습성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 실험집단에서 긍정적인 학업성취를 보였으며 학습자들의 만족도가 높았다. 본 연구는 고등 수학교육에서 스마트러닝의 가능성을 확인하였으며 향후 질 높은 스마트러닝을 실현하기 위한 전략을 제안한다.

본 논문은 스마트시대 이러닝 운영 현황의 한계점을 분석하고 인터넷 정신을 접목한 개선방안을 제시하여 그 효과를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 대학에서 활용되는 이러닝 클래스의 운영방식에 대하여 중점적으로 논한다. 오프라인 클래스의 운영모델을 온라인 환경에 원용함으로 인해 발생하는 부작용 등을 통계적으로 확인한다. 특히 시간이라는 정량적 개념이 온라인 학습에서 참여확인을 위해 활용되고 있는 이러닝 모델의 현실적, 기능적 한계를 구체적으로 분석하였다. 이에 대한 개선안으로 인터넷의 태생적 특징인 참여, 개방, 공유의 정신을 이러닝에 접목시킬 수 있는 방안으로 QBS시스템을 개발, 제안한다. 학습자가 주도적으로 문제를 만들어 학습 자료로써 공유하는 QBS를 실제 이러닝 현장에 적용하여 학습자의 행동양상을 분석한다. 결과적으로 이러닝 학습 환경에서 학습자 참여형 모델이 학업성취도에 유의미한 영향이 있음을 확인함으로써 스마트시대의 새로운 이러닝 모델의 개선방향을 제시한다.

본 연구는 아동간호학 교과목의 교수 학습 전략으로 스마트 러닝을 적용한 후 대조군과 비교하여 간호학생의 학업성취도, 비판적 사고능력 및 수업만족도에 미치는 효과를 확인함으로써 본 연구를 통해 간호교육에서의 스마트 러닝 도입을 위한 기초자료를 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구는 비동등성 대조군 전후 유사실험 연구로 전라남도 S시 소재 일 대학의 간호학과 학생을 대상으로 하였으며, 실험군은 2015년 3학년 37명, 대조군은 2014년 3학년 41명, 총 78명이었다. 자료는 SPSS 20.0 program을 이용하여 ${\chi}^2$-test와 t-test로 분석하였다. 스마트 러닝을 활용한 수업을 적용받은 실험군의 학업성취도와 비판적 사고 성향 점수는 증가하고 대조군과 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었으며 수업만족도는 대조군에 비해 높았다. 연구 결과, 스마트 러닝은 간호학생의 학습성과, 즉 학업성취도, 비판적 사고 성향 및 수업만족도를 유의하게 증가시켜 아동간호학 교과의 학습성과를 향상시키는데 효과적임을 알 수 있다. 본 연구는 간호교육인증평가와 함께 성과기반 교육과정이 도입 및 운영되고 있는 현 시점에서 다양한 교수학습법의 제고와 더불어 간호학생의 학습성과 향상을 위한 전략을 제시하였다고 생각된다.

본 연구는 유아교사들을 대상으로 유아의 스마트 미디어 이용과 유아 디지털 리터러시에 대한 인식과 신념을 살펴봄으로써 스마트 교육을 활성화 할 수 있는 방안을 탐색해보고자 한다. 연구에서는 인터뷰를 통해 유아교사들이 스마트 교육 수용과 관련하여 어떠한 인식을 가지고 있는가를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과 유아교사들은 유아들의 스마트 미디어 이용에 대하여 긍정적이기보다는 부정적인 태도를 가지고 있었으며 스마트 교육의 제한적인 활용이 필요하다고 응답했다. 교사들이 가진 기술에 대한 부정적인 태도는 스마트 교육의 수용을 저해하는 장애물인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 교사들의 인식 개선이 스마트 교육 활성화의 중요한 전제 조건임을 보여준다.

This study was designed to investigate the relationship between middle school students' smart media competency and online learning outcomes. The context of this study was on online inquiry-based mathematics and science learning environment, and four-hundred and fifty-five (455) 7^th to 9^th grade students in Korea participated in this research. To assess students' smart device competency, Smart Media Literacy Quotient (SMLQ) which consisted of 18 items regarding the operation ability of smart media and its application (14 items) and positive beliefs of smart media (4 items) was administered to each student. The findings of this study first showed that students' smart media literacy varied according to their characteristics such as gender, grade, class (subject), and socio-economic status. Female students' scores were higher in overall smart media literacy operation and learning ability of smart media than male students. 7^th grade middle school students represented lower smart media literacy scores, compared to 8^th and 9^th graders. Also, minority students were significantly lower in smart media literacy, operation and learning ability of smart media, and positive belief of smart media than the non-minority students. Second, overall smart media literacy and operation and learning ability of smart media varied among high, medium, and low score achievers in inquiry tasks. Low scored students in inquiry tasks were significantly lower in overall smart media literacy and operation and learning ability of smart media than medium scored students. Lastly, smart media literacy also varied by students' dropout/completion. Students who dropped out reported significantly lower scores in overall smart media literacy, operation and learning ability of smart media, and positive belief of smart media.
