  • An operational strategy for inventory control on finished goods in the distribution system has been given attention to many enterprises and many studies regarding this field have been done and is also on-going currently. It handling large scale of smallness type are so the requisition of customer which is various that over it continues more full scale merit. therefore, It is a tendency that many of enterprise is handling small scale of smallness type for environment change confrontation. but It is not easy for the enterprise to In customer demand diversification suiting because too need many cost. In addition, at enterprise charge extra weight because remainder inventory is causes of defective stock for a inefficient problem solution. this paper is rationalization of stock cost decrease for comparison evaluation of small scale quantify handling of singleness type and small scale quantity handling of largeness type.

  • It is necessary to develop a system of judging whether or not the parts are defective easily at low cost, especially in a small scale factory which manufactures a large variety of products in small amounts. To develop such system, we require to recognize objects using human's cognitive ability under various circumstances. Human's high intelligence originates mostly from neocortex of human brain. The HTM theory, which is proposed by Jeff Hopkins, is one of the recent researches to model the operation principle of neocortex. In this paper we developed PRESM (Parts image REcognition System for small scale Manufacturing industry) system based on the HTM theory to judge badness of manufactured products. As a result of application to the real field of workplace environments we identified the superiority of our recognition system.

  • The New Solar Telescope (NST) at Big Bear Solar Observatory (BBSO) is the recently constructed world largest 1.6 m optical solar telescope on the ground. We took an observation of the north polar limb in H-alpha line center wavelength on 2009 August 26 with the instrument at Nasmyth focus of the NST and found a remarkable small-scale H-alpha eruption from 18:20 UT and 18:45 UT. The eruption occurred with a relatively slow speed of about 10 km/s in early stage and a slight acceleration up to 20-30 km/s in later stage. We also found that the eruption shows a deflection along the pre-existing magnetic field as well as several interesting features such as bifurcation, rotation, horizontal oscillation, and direction and thickness change of its structure during the eruption. In this talk, we will report the observational properties of the small-scale eruption observed by the NST and discuss their implication on magnetic reconnection.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to provide the fadamental information to prepare better Occupational Health Program for SSI based on the evaluation of the experience of nurse who were working in the Government-funded subsidized occupational health program for SSI. Method: The focus group method was used. Data was collected using focus group interviews and analyzed in the framework of the Grounded theory method as mapped by Strauss and Corbin(1990). The subjects were 14 nurses. Result: We identified 60 concepts, 30sub-categories and 6 categories(Table 1). Categories were Various services, Difficulties in implement Services, Successful strategies, Program Evaluation, Alternative Plans and Adaptation to new field. Conclusion: Nurses evaluated the effect of this program that autonomous health management ability has not changed although the possibility for the small scale industries to start the health management arose by acknowledging the importance of the health management of the workplace. In spite of many difficulties in implement services, nurses provided various health services using successful strategies. They suggest that various programs such as a model set-up suitable for the quality of workplaces and a role model set-up of the occupational health nurse for SSI as well as various efforts for the activated this program were needed. Nurses had a hard time in unfamiliar field when they began this program and overcame this difficulties with various strategies.

  • Wind tunnel pressure measurements and numerical simulations based on the Reynolds Stress Model (RSM) are compared with full and model scale data in the flow area of impingement, separation and wake for $60^{\circ}$ and $90^{\circ}$ wind azimuth angles. The phase averaged fluctuating pressures simulated by the RSM model are combined with modelling of the small scale, random pressure field to produce the total, instantaneous pressures. Time averaged, rsm and peak pressure coefficients are consequently calculated. This numerical approach predicts slightly better the pressure field on the roof of the TTU (Texas Tech University) building when compared to the wind tunnel experimental results. However, it shows a deviation from both experimental data sets in the impingement and wake regions. The limitations of the RSM model in resolving the intermittent flow field associated with the corner vortex formation are discussed. Also, correlations between the largest roof suctions and the corner vortex "switching phenomena" are observed. It is inferred that the intermittency and short duration of this vortex switching might be related to both the wind tunnel and numerical simulation under-prediction of the peak roof suctions for oblique wind directions.

  • The discharge capacity of vertical drains installed in the field is reduced with time elapsed after installation due to deformation of drains and clogging effect. Discharge capacity of two types of vertical drains was analysed about three years after installation in the subsoil. Discharge capacity of two types of vertical drains were measured by small, middle, and large scale test apparatus. The results indicate that the discharge capacity of vertical drains after three years operation dramatically decreased compare to the initial discharge capacity.

  • Non-scale digital map have important role in the field of GIS and other application area which using geographical data in recently against conventional map restricted by scale and information. The main objective of this study is to develope the automated map production system for small scale map in conjuction with generalization techniques in a digital environment. We will intend to develope algorithms and programs for each generalization operators based on specific terrain feature with vector data. This study will be performed aspects related to an data model development of generalization process, focussing on priority for processing sequency with maintaining vector topology, and error analysis for generalized digital data.

  • We investigate the environmental effects on galaxy spin using the sample of ~1100 galaxies from the first public data of MaNGA integral field unit survey. We determine the spin parameter ${\lambda}_{Re}$ of galaxies by analyzing the two-dimensional stellar kinematic measurements within the effective radius, and study its dependence on the large-scale (background mass density determined with 20 nearby galaxies) and small-scale (distance to and morphology of the nearest neighbor galaxy) environments. We first examine the mass dependence of galaxy spin, and find that the spin parameter decreases with stellar mass at log ($M_{\ast}/M_{\odot}$) > 10, consistent with previous studies. We then divide the galaxies into three subsamples using their stellar masses to minimize the mass effects on galaxy spin. The spin parameter of galaxies in each subsample does not change with the background density, but do change with the distance to and morphology of the nearest neighbor. The spin parameter increases when late-type neighbors are within the virial radius, and decreases when early-type neighbors are within the virial radius. These results suggest that the large-scale environments hardly affect the galaxy spin, but the effects of small-scale environments such as hydrodynamic galaxy-galaxy interactions are substantial.
