대형 공동주택 거실 조명환경과 행위별 조명사용에 관한 조사연구 (Investigations on Lighting Environment of Living Room and Lighting Use According to the Behavior in Large Apartment Houses)

  • This study investigated current status of lighting environment, residents' awareness of lighting and lighting use according to behavior in the living room of apartment to determine current lighting trends and their related problems. The living rooms of newly-built apartment units(133~165[$m^2$] and larger than 166[$m^2$] within the past five years) were examined. The results are summarized as follows. 1. Resident satisfaction with current living room lighting was the highest in 'illumination' and the lowest was 'energy savings' regardless of the size of living room. 2. This kind of ceiling lighting layout, 133~165[$m^2$] unit used central lighting and larger than 166[$m^2$] units used central lighting and cove lighting. Regarding light sources, 133~165[$m^2$] linear FL, halogen, larger than 166[$m^2$] bulb-type FL are widely used. LED are now being found in the living room corridor and kitchen walls of newly-built apartment houses. 3. Watching TV and reading books were commonly behaved in the living room. Conversations between family, having desserts, resting, housekeeping, and entertaining were usually done weekdays, while having desserts and conversations between family were done weekends. Use of lighting as main behaviors is properly and differently required due to the distinct uses of lighting as residents' behaviors or their life style.

베이비부머의 은퇴 후 선호하는 주택특성에 관한 연구 - 서울 강남지역 공동주택거주자를 대상으로 - (The Study on Housing Characteristics Preferred by Babyboomer After Retirement - Focusing on Apartment's Residents of Gangnam Region in Seoul -)

  • The advent of an aging society has raised the necessity for housing development to meet the growing demands of baby boomers expected to act as the main consumers in the future housing market. This study aims to identify the characteristics of apartment houses favored by baby boomers in their post-retirement plans. Based on a literature review and survey, the study is targeted at a certain baby boom generation residing in mid- sized and large-sized apartments with a floor space of more than 30 pyeong in Gangnam, Seoul. The study reveals that baby boomers favor an active post-retirement life where they can enjoy proper leisure without considerable change in daily routines, and for that reason they choose an apartment house well equipped with neighboring, convenient facilities for their post-retirement. Their housing size shows a downward tendency in response to changes in economic conditions and number of family members living together. Health-related factors such as a comfortable natural environment and greenery also play a key role in their residence selection. Their regional preference is divided into the downtown and suburbs, and thus it will be necessary to satisfy the needs of these two consumer groups in the future housing market. This study lays the foundation for offering basic materials for the development and marketing of apartment houses.

공동주택 욕실의 타일배면 뒤채움 피착면적에 따른 부착안정성 평가 (Evaluation of the Adhesion Stability According to the Backfilling Area of the Tile back of the Bathroom of an Apartment House)

  • Recently, the size of tiles used for bathroom walls in apartment houses is gradually increasing in size. The problem is that when these large-sized tiles are attached by the sticking method, due to the nature of the method, there is a concern about the stability of the attachment to the part (pupil) where the tile and the adhesive are not attached. The problem is serious as it leads to lawsuits in the outbreak court. In addition, it is urgent to verify the adhesion stability of the sticking method because secondary damage occurs due to a safety accident caused by the falling of the tile. Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport [Investigation of defects in apartment houses, calculation of repair cost and defect determination criteria] ① The tile adhesion strength is 0.39N/mm2 or more and ② It is specified to fill 80% or more of the base area of the tile backside, but this is currently trendy. It is considered that large-sized tiles need to be verified from multiple angles, and as part of that, we intend to verify the adhesion stability according to the area to be attached to large-sized tiles.

공동주택 화장실의 기계 환기시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mechanical Ventilation System of Bathroom in Apartment House)

  • To design mechanical ventilation for bathroom of apartment houses where air supply and exhaust are taken into consideration, mock-ups of ventilation systems, widely used in bathroom of apartment houses with an area of 100$\textrm{m}^2$, were made and installed in a laboratory. These ventilation mock-ups were available for control of air supply and exhaust, and the sizes of supply openings were 40cm${\times}$1cm, 40cm${\times}$3cm, and 40cm${\times}$5cm. They were installed at five positions, spaced 45cm at a height of 5cm from the floor. The exhaust fan was designed for its operating voltage to be set to five steps(100V, 130V, 150V, 180V and 220V) in order to control its air flow rates. When the size and position of each supply opening were changed with the wind velocity of the exhaust fan set to the step 5, the ventilation rates were measured and analyzed by the concentration decay method of tracer gas method, in order to present an efficient mechanical ventilation system. The results of the study revealed that the ventilations rates would increase in the presence of supply openings, compared to the absence of supply openings, and that the larger the size of the supply opening, the more the ventilation rates. Therefore, it was found necessary to take air supply into consideration.

서울시 가정에서의 수돗물 사용량과 거주인수 증가에 따른 1인 1일 사용량의 감소변화에 관한 연구 (A study on the Household consumption of Tap Water and the Decreasing Rate of lpcd by the increase in the Number of Residents in Seoul)

  • 서울시 25개 자치구를 대상으로 주택 유형 및 세대구성원 등 여러 요인별로 1인당1일 수돗물 사용량(lpcd)을 비교 분석하였다. 조사대상인 표본으로부터 서울시 전체 모집단의 수돗물 사용량을 추정하여 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 서울시 주택유형 비율 통계자료를 이용하였으며, 실제 비율을 표본 결과에 적용하여 서울시 전체의 1인1일 수돗물 사용량을 추정하였다. 세대구성원수가 증가할수록 1인 1일 수돗물사용량은 감소하고 있다. 이는 세대구성원수와 상관없이 한 세대가 1인인 경우에도 취사, 세탁 등에 공통으로 사용하는 물의 양이 있기 때문인 것으로 판단된다. 아파트의 경우 세대구성원수 증가에 따른 평균적인 수돗물사용량 감소량은 1인세대에서 2인세대로 변할 때 233 L(47.6%)이며, 2인세대에서 3인세대로 변할 때 62 L(20.8%)이며, 3인세대에서 4인세대로 변할 때 32 L (16.9%)이며 4인세대에서 5인세대로 변할 때 18 L(9.0%)로 나타났다. 선형회귀식을 구하여 검토한 결과, 세대구성원이 1인증가함에 따라 감소율이 12%씩 감소하는 것을 보여주고 있다.

중앙난방방식을 지역난방.소형열병합난방방식으로 전환시의 경제성 비교 분석 (Analysis for the Economic efficiency of District Heating and Gas Engine Co-generation System comparing with Central Heating System)

  • This study was conducted to calculate the LCC of a apartment complex with a type of heating system, district heating and cogeneration system. For the purpose of analyzing LCC according to size of apartment complex, 500, 1,500 and 4,000 houses of model apartment selected. This research performs design of heating system and the life cycle cost analysis including an initial cost, energy cost, maintenance and operation cost, replacement cost and renovation cost during the project period(15years). According to the calculated results, 1) Initial cost of cogeneration system with 500, 1500 and 4000 houses is higher than district heating system each of 20%, 13%, 12%. 2) In case of cogeneration system, the payback period by electric generation is 5.21, 4.92 and 4.47 years and saving cost was calculated 29 billion won, 94 billion won and 262 billion won after payback period. 3) Cogeneration system LCC was 1.12, 1.07 and 1.06 times larger than district system with the size of apartment complex. According to the case of this study district heating system is more efficient than cogeneration system in terms of the reduction of LCC. 4) Gas Engine Co-generation System is more efficient than other systems because it can collect progressive part from electric charge progressive stage system. However, the efficiency is decreasing because of raising of fuel bills(LNG) and lowering of power rate for house use. Especially the engine is foreign-made so the cost of maintenance and repair is high and the technical expert is short. 5) District heating is also affected by fuel bills so we should improve energy efficiency through recovering of waste heat(incineration heat, etc.). Also, we should supply district cooling on the pattern of heat using of let the temperature high in winter and low in summer.

신축 아파트 거주자의 새집증후군 반응 및 의식 조사 - 청주시를 중심으로 - (Residents' Responses and Consciousness on Sick House Syndrome of Newly Built Apartments - Focusing on Cheongju -)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the present condition of sick house syndrome of newly built apartments a mid-sized city. The questionnaire survey was carried out from $19^{th}\;to\;22^{nd}$ of May 2004, with respondents consisting of 160 households living in two apartment complexes of Cheongju. Their residency periods after moving in were within $six{\sim}ten$ months. From the survey results of the respondents, sick house syndrome items revealed high percentages with the highest value of 49.3%. The respondents answered that they knew relatively well about sick house syndrome but they had no knowledge about 'bake-out'. The response percentages of sick house syndrome items in E complex, consisting of $106m^2$ (32 pyeong) size units, were significantly higher than those in A complex, consisting of $76m^2$ (23 pyeong) size units. This result suggests that the pollution levels emitted from interior materials in larger sized apartment units are higher than those in small sized units. The response percentages of sick house syndrome items in houses with fulfilled ventilation which had been ventilated before or after moving in were lower than in houses not ventilated.

아파트 사이버 모델하우스 주방 및 식당의 사용 색채 특성 - 2000년대 후반 수도권 지역에 건설된 중규모 주호(99~165m2)를 대상으로 - (On the Characteristics of the Colors in the Kitchens and Dining Rooms of the Cyber Model Houses in Korea - Focused on Medium Sized Units(99~165m2) Constructed in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province in the Late 2000s -)

  • This study is aimed to identify the color characteristics of the current Korean Brand Apartment, focused on the color of kitchens and dining rooms in the cyber model houses. The Brands which were selected for this study ranked from first to fifth in the contractor ranking and now account for 64 percent of the apartments in sale in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. In addition, the size between $99m^2$ and $165m^2$ were selected, because it was most preferred at the 2011 survey for user preference on the size of apartment. As this study is for the colors shown on the monintor, colors were extracted from the images of web site with L*, a*, b*. And then, they were converted to Munsell values through computer program, which values were used to identify the color characteristics of hue, tone and to apply the theory of Moon Spencer. The result of the study on the color characteristics of the kitchen and dining room of the five brands' apartments is as follows. Regarding the color use, most of the brands used Y and YR color while as the accent color, P, PB and G were used. This result of main color use for hue was same as the guideline by the literature review, but color for tone showed the difference between brands and the difference between sizes. Next, regarding the color combination, first ambiguity of color harmony was shown the most. And the larger the size was, the more the contrast of color harmony was shown. It means that the color tone had close relation with the sizes of households.

아파트 지하주차장 소화기의 유지관리 효율화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effective Method of Fire Extinguisher Maintenance In the Underground Parking Lot of the Apartment)

  • The definition of an apartment is a building more than 5 stories high and which is the standard law. Currently, the number of apartments is increasing much faster than detached houses. Owning an apartment is a normal trend these days. However, the increasing number of apartments has been increasing the number of apartment fires which also has been making social problems. Therefore, this study was conducted for the fire extinguisher among other fire facilities because it is important for initial fire suppression. The research subject is on the fire extinguisher that is in the underground parking lot of 40 apartment complexes which are more than 10 stories. Survey and analysis were conducted for 80 fire extinguishers. There are two fire extinguishers for each apartment. The result of this study is that all installed fire extinguishers are ABC dry chemical type, 92% of them is 3.3kg and that meet the legal height(less than 1.5m). However, the condition such as appearance, inspection, manufactured year, appearance of signs, material of signs, size of signs, etc. was insufficiency. So improvement of law and system that are fire facility construction, maintenance implementation and additional designation of type approval about sign will be needed in my opinion.

서울시내 아파트 실내조경식물이용의 최근변화에 관한 조사연구 (Assessing Studies on the Recent Use and Change of Indoor Landscaping Plants at Apartment Houses in Seoul)

  • 서울시내 아파트 40가구를 대상으로 1986년과 1989년에 실내조경식물을 조사한 결과, 다음과 같다1. 1986년에 비해서 1989년에는 전제실내식물의 종류는 46%, 식물의 수는 68%가 증가되었으며, 가장 많이 재배되는 종류는 '86년에는 동양란 아프리칸 바이올렛, Scindapsus, 선인장, 군자란 '89년에는 동양란, 선인장, Chlorophytum, 군자란, Dracena순이었다. 2. 원예학적 분류방법에 의한 식물의 종류는 '86년, '89년 모두 관엽식물이 가장 많았다. 3. 초장에 따른 식물의 크기는 '86년에는 15~30cm가 제일 많았고, '89년에는 31~80cm가 가장 많았다. 4. 식재용기의 종류는 '86년과 '89년 모두 플라스틱이 가장 많았으며, 자기 분의 경우 '86년에 비해서 '89년에는 매우 증가되었다. 5.식물의 배치형태는 '86년과 '89년에 조사한 모든 아파트에서 마루에 그대로 놓아둔 floor group이 있었으며, 그 비율도 가장 높았고 선반의 경우 '86년에 비해서 '89년에는 매우 많이 이용되었다. 6. Terrarium의 경우 '86년에는 Fittonia와 선인장이 가장 많이 이용되는 소재였으나, '89년에는 Adianrum과 Maranta가 많이 이용되었다. 7. 식물이 가장 많이 배치되는 장소는 '86년, '89년 모두 베란다로 조사한 모두 가구에서 이용하고 있었다. 8.'86년에는 가구당 평균 16개를 보유하고 있었으나 '89년에는 평균 27개를 보유하고 있었다. 9.식물의 생육형태는 대체로 양호한 편이었으며, 실내조경식물의 재배관리에 대한 관심이 증가 하고있었다.
