  • 요즘은 다향한 IT 기술의 융합을 통해 구현되는 가상현실 기술은 사용자의 체험영역을 확대하고 물리적인 에너지와 각종 비용을 절감하는 기술로 주목을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 가상현실 기술을 활용한 가상훈련시스템의 몰입감과 상호작용 제공을 통한 학습효과가 높은 분야를 대상으로 연구하고자 한다. 가상현실 시스템의 국내외 현황에 대해 알아보고 국내 가상훈련 시스템의 수요를 분석하여 나아가야 할 발전 방향에 대해서 연구하고자 한다. 가상현실 기기들의 사용현황에 대해서 가상훈련수요를 고려한 사업의 로드맵을 구축하고자 한다.

  • 본 연구는 사물인터넷 시대를 맞이하여, 기존 스마트 홈서비스의 국내외 사례를 분석하고, 향후 스마트 홈 필요 서비스를 파악하였다. 모든 스마트 홈이 그렇듯, 사용자의 사용성 및 목적 패턴에 따라 필요와 임의의 서비스를 대조해 보았을 때 향후 이용에 관한 실효성이 중요하다. 신뢰성 향상과 발전 방향 제시를 위해 주요 사용자인 20~30대를 대상으로 총 110명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사를 통해서 현재 스마트 홈의 서비스의 신뢰가 낮은 것을 알 수 있었으며, 신뢰가 낮은 요소로는 사용성에 부족한 접근방식, 기기 인식 부족 능력 그리고 특성화 서비스 부족을 알 수 있었다. 스마트 홈서비스가 아직 초기 단계인 만큼 사용자의 필요에 따라서 다양한 스마트 홈서비스와 생태계가 구축되어야 할 것이다.

  • Recently, the long-term care insurance for the elderly was carried out according to the elderly is increased rapidly and the formation of sympathy that a nation and society try commonly to share health and welfare promotion of the elderly. The purpose of this study is to analyze the present status of nursing home after that the long-term care insurance is enforced in chungcheongbuk-do and to utilize as basic data. The study limited its survey to those facilities that refer to the Ministry of Health and Welfare data, that had the capacity of more than 50 people. The result are as followings. Firstly, most of the nursing home were located on the outskirts of the city. But it must be constructed in the city center if the recent deinstitutionalization trend is reflected. Secondly, notwithstanding the provisions of the Elderly Welfare Law, if the Livability and amenity are considered, the plan of a single or a twin room is needed. The ondol(溫突) system bedroom for the safety of the elderly had to be planned and for the color planning of a bedroom, a heating, the furniture, the form of a door, corridors, etc. should be partly improved. The fastener in which it is appropriate for the main exit, a stair, an elevator, the lighting device, and etc. is needed and the installation of a wandering path for the dementia patient and etc. is required. Thirdly, most of the dining room arranged on the first floor but it is not nearly used and it used for employee or the other use. Therefore, we have to consider the system in which it can deliver the meal to a bedroom. If the smell of the elderly and etc. is considered, the sufficient height of the floor should be reflected for the ventilation equipment. Lastly, The improvement of the existing law are required.

전체얼굴손상 환자에서 영상중재시술의 유용성 (The Usefulness of Transcatheter Arterial Embolization for Panfacial Injury)

  • Purpose: A life-threatening hemorrhage resulting from a severe facial fracture is rare, but it needs a prompt and aggressive treatment. Especially, a massive oronasal bleeding combined with midfacial fracture which may result from the rupture of the internal maxillary artery. With the recent advances in the radiologic intervention, its use has increased for managing these life threatening case. We reviewed its usefulness with our experiences and literatures. Methods: A retrospective review was performed to determine the usefulness of the transcatheter arterial embolization in patients with panfacial trauma. If the vital signs were unstable, cardiopulmonary resuscitation was performed. Oronasal bleeding was controlled with nasal packing and electrocautery. All injured regions were studied by radiologic study including CT. Even after primary management, if the oronasal bleeding was persistent, radiologic intervention was performed 10 patients were treated with transcatheter arterial embolization and the bleeding focus controlled by embolization with polyvinyl alcohol and gelfoam. Results: After the intervention, the vital signs became stable and there were no complications from embolization in the follow-up for 6 months. Also patients could recover through appropriate operations. Conclusion: Transcatheter arterial embolization for maxillofacial injury has many advantages for both, the doctor and the patient. First, less pain is induced than a compression device or an operation, which is another way to treat oronasal bleeding. Second, it does not need general anesthesia. And through a single procedure not only we can know the accurate bleeding point, but we can also bleeding by embolization.

Flexibility Improvement of InGaZnO Thin Film Transistors Using Organic/inorganic Hybrid Gate Dielectrics

  • Recently, oxide semi-conductor materials have been investigated as promising candidates replacing a-Si:H and poly-Si semiconductor because they have some advantages of a room-temperature process, low-cost, high performance and various applications in flexible and transparent electronics. Particularly, amorphous indium-gallium-zinc-oxide (a-IGZO) is an interesting semiconductor material for use in flexible thin film transistor (TFT) fabrication due to the high carrier mobility and low deposition temperatures. In this work, we demonstrated improvement of flexibility in IGZO TFTs, which were fabricated on polyimide (PI) substrate. At first, a thin poly-4vinyl phenol (PVP) layer was spin coated on PI substrate for making a smooth surface up to 0.3 nm, which was required to form high quality active layer. Then, Ni gate electrode of 100 nm was deposited on the bare PVP layer by e-beam evaporator using a shadow mask. The PVP and $Al_2O_3$ layers with different thicknesses were used for organic/inorganic multi gate dielectric, which were formed by spin coater and atomic layer deposition (ALD), respectively, at $200^{\circ}C$. 70 nm IGZO semiconductor layer and 70 nm Al source/drain electrodes were respectively deposited by RF magnetron sputter and thermal evaporator using shadow masks. Then, IGZO layer was annealed on a hotplate at $200^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour. Standard electrical characteristics of transistors were measured by a semiconductor parameter analyzer at room temperature in the dark and performance of devices then was also evaluated under static and dynamic mechanical deformation. The IGZO TFTs incorporating hybrid gate dielectrics showed a high flexibility compared to the device with single structural gate dielectrics. The effects of mechanical deformation on the TFT characteristics will be discussed in detail.

실시간 다중 렌더링을 위한 이중 서버 구조 (A 2-Tier Server Architecture for Real-time Multiple Rendering)

  • 초고속 인터넷의 광범위한 보급으로 가능해진 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기반 게임 서비스는 클라우드 노드에서 게임을 실행하고 게임의 영상을 원격 사용자의 단말기에 영상 스트림으로 전송함으로써 게임 서비스가 이루어진다. 사용자 입력은 게임에 즉각적으로 전송되고 반영된다. 이러한 서비스가 가능한 이유는 사용자 입력이 반영되고 게임 영상이 사용자에게 전달되는데 걸리는 시간이 최소화되어. 컴퓨터 게임에서 요구되는 반응성을 일반적으로 만족시킬 수 있었기 때문이다. 하지만 이러한 서비스는 고품질 3D 게임을 서비스하는 경우, 서버 구축에 많은 비용이 소요될 수 있다. 클라우드 노드가 탑재하고 있는 일반적인 그래픽 시스템은 동시에 하나의 3D 어플리케이션을 지원하도록 설계되어 있기 때문이다. 하나의 클라우드 노드에서 다수의 3D 게임을 실행하기 위해서는 그 실행에 필요한 실시간 다중 렌더링 기술이 필수적이다. 본 논문은 다수의 컴퓨터 게임을 하나의 클라우드 노드에서 실행시키고 다른 노드에서 각 게임 영상을 획득할 수 있는 이중 서버 구조를 제안한다. 몇가지 실험을 실시하여 기술적 가능성을 알아본다.

디젤기관에서의 경유-메탄올 혼합유의 연소 안전성과 연소특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Combustion Stability and Characteristics for D.O - Methanol Blending Oil in Diesel Engine)

  • It has recently been reported that methanol fuel has been used in the product carrier with established duel fuel engine, which has been greatly reducing emissions of $CO_2$, NOx and SOx from the engine. However, to use methanol alone as fuel oil in a general diesel engine, design modification of cylinder head is needed because the ignition aid device or the duel fuel injection system is needed. On the other hand, only if the mixer is installed on the fuel oil supply line, diesel oil - methanol blending oil can be used as fuel oil for the diesel engine, but there is a problem of the phase separation when two fuels are mixed. In this study, diesel oil and methanol were blended compulsorily in preventing the phase separation with installing agitators and a fuel oil boost pump on fuel line of a test engine. Also, cylinder pressure and fuel consumption quantity were measured according to engine load and methanol blending ratio, and indicated mean effective pressure, heat release rate and combustion temperature obtained from the single zone combustion model were analyzed to investigate the effects of latent heat of vaporization of methanol on combustion stability and characteristics. As a result, the combustion stability and characteristics of 10% methanol blending oil are closest to the those of diesel oil, and it could be used as fuel oil in existing diesel engines without deterioration of engine performance and combustion characteristics.

다양한 합성곱 신경망 방식을 이용한 폐음 분류 방식의 성능 비교 (Performance comparison of lung sound classification using various convolutional neural networks)

  • 폐질환 진단에서 청진은 다른 진단 방식에 비해 단순하고, 폐음을 이용하여 폐질환 환자식별뿐 아니라 폐음과 관련된 질병을 예측할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 다양한 합성곱 신경방 방식을 기반으로 폐음을 이용하여 폐질환 환자를 식별하고, 소리특성에 따른 폐음을 분류하여 각 신경망 방식의 분류 성능을 비교한다. 먼저 폐질환 소견을 갖는 흉부 영역에서 단채널 폐음 녹음기기를 이용하여 폐음 데이터를 수집하고, 수집된 시간축 신호를 스펙트럼 형태의 특징값으로 추출하여 각 분류 신경망 방식에 적용한다. 폐 사운드 분류 방식으로는 일반적인 합성곱 신경망, 병렬 구조, 잔류학습이 적용된 구조의 합성곱 신경망을 사용하고 실험을 통해 각 신경망 모델의 폐음 분류 성능을 비교한다.

Damping of a taut cable with two attached high damping rubber dampers

  • Due to their low intrinsic damping, stay cables in cable-stayed bridges have often exhibited unanticipated and excessive vibrations which result in increasing maintenance frequency and disruption to normal operations of the entire bridges. Mitigation of undesired cable vibration can be achieved by attaching an external damping device near the anchorage. High Damping Rubber (HDR) dampers have many advantages such as compact size, better aesthetics, easy maintenance, temperature stability, and cost benefits; therefore, they have been widely used to increase cable damping. Although a single damper has been shown to reduce cable vibrations, it is not the most effective method due to geometric constraints. This paper proposes the use of two HDR dampers to improve effectiveness and robustness in suppressing cable vibration. Oscillation parameters of the cable-dampers system were investigated in detail by modeling the stay cable as a taut string and each HDR damper as complex-valued impedance and by using an analytical formulation of the complex eigenvalue problem. The problem of two HDR dampers arbitrarily located along a cable is solved and the solution is discussed. Asymptotic formulas to calculate the damping ratios of the cable with two HDR dampers installed near the anchorage(s) are proposed and compared with the exact solutions. Further, a design example is presented in order to justify the methodology. The results of this study show that when the two HDR dampers are installed close to each other on the same end of the cable, some interaction between the dampers leads to reduced damping ratio. When the dampers are on the opposite ends of the cable, they are effective in increasing damping ratio and can provide better vibration reduction to multiple modes.

얇은 오일쉘 이중에멀젼을 이용한 고효율 단분산성 하이드로젤 마이크로 입자 생산 (Highly Efficient Production of Monodisperse Poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) Hydrogel Microparticles by Utilizing Double Emulsion Drops with a Sacrificial Thin Oil Shell)

  • 본 연구는 미세유체기술을 기반으로 매우 간단하고 효율적인 단분산성 하이드로젤 마이크로 입자 제조 방법을 제안하였다. 구체적으로, 유리모세관 미세유체장치 내에서 형성된 이중에멀젼은 자외선기반 자유라디칼 중합에 의해 빠르게 고형화가 이루어진다. 수용액에 분산됨과 동시에 계면활성제의 부족으로 인해 얇은 오일쉘은 자발적으로 분리되어, 단분산성 하이드로젤 입자를 형성하였다(C.V.=1%). 본 연구의 결과는 water-in-oil (w/o) 단일에멀젼 기반의 제조 방법과 달리 오일 부피를 최소한으로 사용하여 크기 및 조성 제어가 가능한 단분산성 하이드로젤 입자의 제조가 달성될 수 있음을 보여준다. 마지막으로, 상도표를 기반으로 미세유체장치 내 유동 패턴에 대한 심층 연구는 상대적인 부피 유속들 간의 중요한 상관관계를 나타내며 하이드로젤 마이크로 입자의 안정적인 제조를 위한 실험적 근거를 제시하였다.
