아파트에서의 승강기 수용률 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Diversity Factor of Elevators in Apartment Housing)

  • 본 논문에서는 아파트에 시설띈 승강기의 운전실태블 분석하여 승강기 수용률을 설정하였다. 승강기 운전실태를 분석한 결과 승강기 동시운행률은 1년중 9월에 최대값을 나타내었으며 아파트(계단식,20층 기준)에서의 승강기 1일 평균 운행횟수눈 약 800회, 동시운행률의 최대값은 약 40-45%인 것으로 나타냈다. 송강기의 대수별 수용률은 현행 기준치보다 약 10%정도 낮은 것으로 분석되었다.

ETLi: Efficiently annotated traffic LiDAR dataset using incremental and suggestive annotation

  • Autonomous driving requires a computerized perception of the environment for safety and machine-learning evaluation. Recognizing semantic information is difficult, as the objective is to instantly recognize and distinguish items in the environment. Training a model with real-time semantic capability and high reliability requires extensive and specialized datasets. However, generalized datasets are unavailable and are typically difficult to construct for specific tasks. Hence, a light detection and ranging semantic dataset suitable for semantic simultaneous localization and mapping and specialized for autonomous driving is proposed. This dataset is provided in a form that can be easily used by users familiar with existing two-dimensional image datasets, and it contains various weather and light conditions collected from a complex and diverse practical setting. An incremental and suggestive annotation routine is proposed to improve annotation efficiency. A model is trained to simultaneously predict segmentation labels and suggest class-representative frames. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm yields a more efficient dataset than uniformly sampled datasets.

  • Low fertility rates and increased life expectancy further exacerbate the process of an aging society. This is also reflected in the gradual increase in the proportion of vulnerable groups in the social population. The demand for improved mobility among vulnerable groups such as the elderly or the disabled has greatly driven the growth of the electric-assisted mobility device market. However, such mobile devices generally require a certain operating capability, which limits the range of vulnerable groups who can use the device and increases the cost of learning. Therefore, autonomous driving technology needs to be introduced to make mobility easier for a wider range of vulnerable groups to meet their needs of work and leisure in different environments. This study uses mini PC Odyssey, Velodyne Lidar VLP-16, electronic device and Linux-based ROS program to realize the functions of working environment recognition, simultaneous localization, map generation and navigation of electric powered mobile devices for vulnerable groups. This autonomous driving mobility device is expected to be of great help to the vulnerable who lack the immediate response in dangerous situations.

무인전투차량 요구사항분석 연구: 원격통제 및 자율주행 중심으로 (A Study on Requirement Analysis of Unmanned Combat Vehicles: Focusing on Remote-Controlled and Autonomous Driving Aspect)

  • Remote-controlled and autonomous driving based on artificial intelligence are key elements required for unmanned combat vehicles. The required capability of such an unmanned combat vehicle should be expressed in reasonable required operational capability(ROC). To this end, in this paper, the requirements of an unmanned combat vehicle operated under a manned-unmanned teaming were analyzed. The functional requirements are remote operation and control, communication, sensor-based situational awareness, field environment recognition, autonomous return, vehicle tracking, collision prevention, fault diagnosis, and simultaneous localization and mapping. Remote-controlled and autonomous driving of unmanned combat vehicles could be achieved through the combination of these functional requirements. It is expected that the requirement analysis results presented in this study will be utilized to satisfy the military operational concept and provide reasonable technical indicators in the system development stage.

DiLO: Direct light detection and ranging odometry based on spherical range images for autonomous driving

  • Over the last few years, autonomous vehicles have progressed very rapidly. The odometry technique that estimates displacement from consecutive sensor inputs is an essential technique for autonomous driving. In this article, we propose a fast, robust, and accurate odometry technique. The proposed technique is light detection and ranging (LiDAR)-based direct odometry, which uses a spherical range image (SRI) that projects a three-dimensional point cloud onto a two-dimensional spherical image plane. Direct odometry is developed in a vision-based method, and a fast execution speed can be expected. However, applying LiDAR data is difficult because of the sparsity. To solve this problem, we propose an SRI generation method and mathematical analysis, two key point sampling methods using SRI to increase precision and robustness, and a fast optimization method. The proposed technique was tested with the KITTI dataset and real environments. Evaluation results yielded a translation error of 0.69%, a rotation error of 0.0031°/m in the KITTI training dataset, and an execution time of 17 ms. The results demonstrated high precision comparable with state-of-the-art and remarkably higher speed than conventional techniques.

  • Flat fluorescent lamp(FFL) is used as a light source for LCD TV backlight and is composed of many discharge channels but each channel may not be turned on simultatneouly especially at cold temperature. The simultaneous start of each lamp channels of FFL was accomplished by driving FFL with specially designed voltage and currnet waveforms without sacrificing the inverter efficency.

  • This study proposes a AC/DC railway vehicle control algorithm that enables simultaneous driving of AC and DC power supply sections. In the Seoul metropolitan region, trolley voltage for railway vehicle is divided into AC and DC power supplies. Therefore, AC/DC railway vehicle algorithm is essential for driving on the outskirts of the region. This study analyzes resonance and beat phenomena for simultaneously running in AC and DC power supply sections, and proposes a control algorithm for railway vehicles with the application of damping and beatless controls based on this analysis. The performance of the proposed algorithm is verified by simulation and analysis of actual driving results.

  • 본 논문에서는 Visual 동시적 위치추정 및 지도작성(SLAM : Simultaneous Localization and Mapping)기술을 응용하여 실내에서 생성된 SLAM 맵을 기반으로 지정된 목적지에 물건을 배달하는 자율주행 차량 플랫폼을 제안하였다. 실내에서 SLAM 맵을 생성하기 위해 소형 자율주행 차량 플랫폼의 상단에 SLAM 맵 생성을 위한 심도 카메라를 설치하고 SLAM 맵 속에서의 정확한 위치추정을 하기 위해 추적 카메라를 장착하여 구현하였다. 또한, 목적지의 표찰을 인식하기 위해 합성곱 신경망(CNN : Convolutional neural network)을 사용하여 목적지에 정확하게 도착할 수 있도록 주행 알고리즘을 적용하여 설계하였다. 실내 배송 자율주행 차량을 실제로 제작하였고 SLAM 맵의 정확도 확인과 CNN을 통한 목적지 표찰 인식 실험을 수행하였다. 결과적으로 표찰 인식의 성공률을 향상시켜 구현한 실내 배송용 자율주행 차량의 활용 적합성 여부를 확인하였다.

  • It is important to consider power stability in case of design and construction of a substation at railroad because a train is operated by electricity and tains are drived simultaneous at the same section. This paper described stability of feeder system considering driving conditions and railroad conditions of train which is drived. Simulation tool, TOM(Train Operations Model) software is used to ensure stability of feeder system. As results of simulation, feeder voltage source is in limits on driving operation dia of trains.

  • This study was conducted to investigate experimentally the basic characteristics of the torque of the cutterbar driving shaft as the double-knife was used instead of the conventional standard single-knife type. A new design for inclined setting of the cutterbar relative to the direction perpendicular to combine harvester movement was investigated to test a possible reduction of concentrated load caused by the simultaneous cutting of many rows. It was evaluated that the maximum torque and mean total power of the driving shaft due to the cutting resistance of the rice straw were largely depended upon the rotational shaft-speed and straw feeding rate, but were resepectively 1.1~2.3 and 1.15~1.34 times higher compared to those while idling. It was also proved that the inclined setting of the cutterbar could save a considerable amount of energy required for its driving shaft.
