  • 광케이블을 이용한 보안 솔루션의 기술들은 아직까지 확실한 기술적 안정성을 확보하지 못한 상태이며, 그중 음향 감지를 통한 보안 시스템 역시 여러 가지 변수에 따른 오 경보 및 감지 실패 등의 완벽한 방어 기술을 확보하지 못한 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 수중 음향 통신의 수중 음향통신 채널에 대한 4가지 특성을 조사한다. 또한 수중에서 음향 신호 분석을 통한 광케이블을 이용한 감지 시스템 구축 방안으로서 감지 시스템을 구축한다. 또한 해저 광케이블의 신호 특성 분석과 잡음 분석을 수행한 후 이를 실제 적용 가능성을 확인한다.

  • Integrity of the control and instrumental cables in nuclear power plant is important to maintain the stability of the nuclear power plants. In order to diagnose the integrity of the cables, the diagnostic methods based on reflectometry have been studied. The reflectometry is a non-destructive method and it is applicable to diagnose the live cables. We introduce a Gaussian enveloped linear chirp reflectometry to diagnose the cables in the nuclear power plants. In this paper, we estimate the instantaneous frequency of the Gaussian enveloped linear chirp signal by using the weighted robust least squares filtering to localize the impedance discontinuities in the class 1E instrumental cable.

  • This system is composed of fine and coarse apparatus, measurement system and control system. Piezoelectric actuator is designed for fine positioning. We make a study of precision apparatus that is used in the various industrial machine. The study was carried out to develope a precision positioning apparatus, consisting of servo motor and piezoelectric actuator. Coarse positioning using lead screw is drived by servo motor. Control system output a signal from laser interferometer to amplifier of servo motor and piezoelectric actuator after digital signal processing(DSP). Resolution of this apparatus measure with laser interferometer. In this study, design method and control system with ultra precision position apparatus are researched. As the first step, we have estimated for control performance and system stability before an actual apparatus is manufactured by MATLAB with SIMULINK including various functions those are composed of pre-design and system modeling.

Heterologous Expression of Recombinant Transglutaminase in Bacillus subtilis SCK6 with Optimized Signal Peptide and Codon, and Its Impact on Gelatin Properties

  • Microbial transglutaminases (MTGs) are widely used in the food industry. In this study, the MTG gene of Streptomyces sp. TYQ1024 was cloned and expressed in a food-grade bacterial strain, Bacillus subtilis SCK6. Extracellular activity of the MTG after codon and signal peptide (SP Ync M) optimization was 20 times that of the pre-optimized enzyme. After purification, the molecular weight of the MTG was 38 kDa and the specific activity was 63.75 U/mg. The optimal temperature and pH for the recombinant MTG activity were 50℃ and 8.0, respectively. MTG activity increased 1.42-fold in the presence of β-ME and 1.6-fold in the presence of DTT. Moreover, 18% sodium chloride still resulted in 83% enzyme activity, which showed good salt tolerance. Cross-linking gelatin with the MTG increased the strength of gelatin 1.67 times and increased the thermal denaturation temperature from 61.8 to 75.8℃. The MTG also significantly increased the strength and thermal stability of gelatin. These characteristics demonstrated the huge commercial potential of MTG, such as for applications in salted protein foods.

Nuclear Localization of Chfr Is Crucial for Its Checkpoint Function

  • Chfr, a checkpoint with FHA and RING finger domains, plays an important role in cell cycle progression and tumor suppression. Chfr possesses the E3 ubiquitin ligase activity and stimulates the formation of polyubiquitin chains by Ub-conjugating enzymes, and induces the proteasome-dependent degradation of a number of cellular proteins, including Plk1 and Aurora A. While Chfr is a nuclear protein that functions within the cell nucleus, how Chfr is localized in the nucleus has not been clearly demonstrated. Here, we show that nuclear localization of Chfr is mediated by nuclear localization signal (NLS) sequences. To reveal the signal sequences responsible for nuclear localization, a short lysine-rich stretch (KKK) at amino acid residues 257-259 was replaced with alanine, which completely abolished nuclear localization. Moreover, we show that nuclear localization of Chfr is essential for its checkpoint function but not for its stability. Thus, our results suggest that NLS-mediated nuclear localization of Chfr leads to its accumulation within the nucleus, which may be important in the regulation of Chfr activation and Chfr-mediated cellular processes, including cell cycle progression and tumor suppression.

전동식 동력 조향 장치 연구를 의한 HILS 시스템 개발 (A Development of Hardware-in-the Loop Simulation System For a Electric Power Steering System)

  • In this study, a Hardware-In-The-Loop-Simulation(HILS) system for developing a Electric-Power-Steering(EPS) system is designed. To test a EPS by HILS system, a mathematical vehicle model with a steering system model has been constructed. This mathematical model has been constructed. This mathematical model has been downloaded to the Digital-Signal-Processor(DSP) board. To realize the lateral force acting on the front wheel in a real car. the steering wheel angle sensor and vehicle velocity have been used for input signal. The force sensor has been used for a feedback signal. The full vehicle states could by simulated by the HILS system. Consequently, the HILS system could by used to analyze control-parameters of a EPS that contributes to the maneuverability and stability of a vehicle. At the same time, the HILS system can evaluate the whole performance of the vehicle-steering system. Also the HILS system could do test could not be executed in real vehicle. The HILs system will useful for developing the control logic for the EPS system.

  • Maglev using EMS becomes unstable by unexpected big air-gap disturbance. The main causes of the unexpected air-gap disturbance are step-wise rail joint and large distance between rail splices. For the stable operation of the Maglev, the conventional system uses the threshold method, which selects one gap sensor among two gap sensors installed on the magnet to read the gap between magnet and guide rail. But the threshold method with a wide bandwidth makes the discontinuous air-gap signal at the rail joints because of the offset in air gap sensors and/or the step-wise rail joins. Further more, in the case of the one with a narrow bend-width, it makes Maglev system unstable because of frequent alternation. In this paper, a new method using fuzzy rule to reduce air-gap disturbances proposed to improve the stability of Maglev system. It treats the air-gap signal from dual gap sensors effectively to make continuous signal without air gap disturbance. Simulation and experiment results proved that the proposed scheme was effective to reduce air-gap disturbance from dual gap sensors in rail joints.

Opto-Hertzian 효과를 이용한 고주파 여기식 슬랩 CO2 레이저의 출력 안정화 (Power stabilization of a slab CO2 laser by using the Opto-Hertzian effect)

  • 본 연구에서는 opto-Hertzian 효과를 이용하여 고주파 여기식 슬랩형 $CO_2$ 레이저의 출력을 안정화하였다. 슬랩레이저 공진기속의 복사선 세기가 변화할 때 opto-Hertzian 효과에 의해서 공진기의 방전 임피던스도 함께 변화한다. 이에 따라 공진기로 입사 또는 반사되는 고주파 에너지 값도 변화한다. 이 같은 변화를 결합 루프를 통해 검출하여 고주파 성분을 제거한 후 록인 안정기에서 발생시킨 오차신호를 기준신호로 사용하여 슬랩 레이저의 출력을 안정화하였다. 본 방법으로 안정화된 레이저의 출력 변동률이 0.2%로 개선됨을 확인하였다.

  • 레졸바는 앤코더에 비하여 가격 면에서 유리하지는 않지만 절대위치를 검지해야 하는 경우와 기계적으로 견고해야 하는 장소에서 정교한 제어용으로 사용되고 있다. 레졸바에 의한 위치와 속도검출 방법은 일반적으로 관측기를 응용하고 있으며, 아날로그 신호를 처리해야 하는 부분을 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 레졸바의 출력신호를 위치정보인 코사인과 사인파형으로 복조하고 복조된 아날로그 신호를 제어기에 전송하는 방법을 사용하였다. 또한, 제어기의 프로그램에 추정기를 설계하고 극저속에서 그 동작을 관찰하였다.
