Development of Motor, Encoder Evaluation System using High Performance DSP (고성능 DSP를 이용한 모터, 엔코더 성능평가 시스템 개발)

  • In robot operation, a motor with multi-degree of freedom motion control and an encoder for motor control are needed. To perform precise motion, location, and velocity control, the operation of motor and encoder with superior performance is important. In this paper, we studied performance evaluation system that can evaluate the performance of motor and encoder. The performance of motor and encoder can be evaluated in terms of disconnection check, signal variation count, and U, V, W signal check. Disconnection check verifies signal connection between a motor and an encoder, signal variation check verifies A, B signal by counting the number of signal A, B when a motor revolves, and U, V, W signal check verifies operating direction of a motor. The result is shown at graphic LCD integrated in system, and can be checked in PC with PC communication.

  • In this paper, a study on a wireless check-up method of test equipment for captive flight test(CFT) was conducted. For CFT, test equipment is mounted on a POD, and check-up is carried on the test equipment's. For check-up the POD wirelessly, battery, power distribution unit, wireless communication devices were designed within the POD, and a check-up device is designed outside of the POD. Once the external check-up device sends a 'start signal' to the POD, it performs the overall check-up procedures and transmits the 'end signal' to the external check-up device. Detailed check-up results are stored in an internal storage device, and are possible to read from external check-up device if necessary, thereby improving the reliability of the wireless check-up. By implementing and applying these wireless check-up system, the reliability of the check-up was enhanced by dynamical and movable check-up, and safety is guaranteed as the check-up was carried without access to the aircraft.

  • In this paper we have presented a condition monitoring method of check valve using neural network. The acoustic emission sensor was used to acquire the condition signals of check valve in direct vessel injection (DVI) test loop. The acquired sensor signal pass through a signal conditioning which are consisted of steps; rejection of background noise, amplification, analogue to digital conversion, extract of feature points. The extracted feature points which represent the condition of check valve was utilized input values of fault diagnosis algorithms using pre-learned neural network. The fault diagnosis algorithm proceeds fault detection, fault isolation and fault identification within limited ranges. The developed algorithm enables timely diagnosis of failure of check valve’s degradation and service aging so that maintenance and replacement could be preformed prior to loss of the safety function. The overall process has been experimented and the results are given to show its effectiveness.

  • This paper presents a realization of sensor signal processing(noise filtering) and Fieldbus based communication for condition monitoring of check valve. we first acquired the AE(Acoustic Emission) sensor data at the KAERI check valve test loop, and their frequencies were analyzed to find the informative band. To reject background noises, bandpass filters have been designed. Also, to send the processed data to a remote site, wired communication facility has been realized via DeviceNet.

  • We measured potential waveform of load, displacement, micro electric signal generated by rock and mortar fracture using PXI A/D Converter. The rock type used for measurement was used granite, limestone and sandstone, and mortar specimen. we made measuring equipment of physical properties to confirm basic information of physical properties, measured physical properties of rock engineering, electric resistivity and seismic velocity. Potential waveform system was built using PXI A/D Converter and measured potential waveform of load, displacement, micro-electric signal generated using this during uniaxial compressive test by the specimen finished such test of physical properties. Using the saturated rock and mortar specimen, micro electric signal increased, and It didn't increase a signal in dried rock and mortar specimen according as load and strain rate increases. But signal also increased in saturated or dried specimen in case of sandstone. It was possible to check the close correlation relationship the signal and fracture behavior by a compressive load as the signal of fracture position was increased bigger than the other position. It was also possible to check the correlation relationship between physical properties and micro geo-electric signal.

Fast Implementation of the Progressive Edge-Growth Algorithm

  • A computationally efficient implementation of the progressive edge-growth algorithm is presented. This implementation uses an array of red-black (RB) trees to manage the layered structure of check nodes and adopts a new strategy to expand the Tanner graph. The complexity analysis and the simulation results show that the proposed approach reduces the computational effort effectively. In constructing a low-density parity check code with a length of $10^4$, the RB-tree-array-based implementation takes no more 10% of the time required by the original method.

  • It is important that we maintain the synchronous time-information with each other in the synchronous system. The most functions in the synchronous system need the time-information. n we have the wrong time-information, the system would operate incorrectly. So, we need to check if the time-information is correct or not in the important block of the synchronous system. In this paper, we will discuss how to check the clock signal and find some problem of it. Then, we will suggest the alternative plan.

  • Therefore this study focused on developing real-time system, which makes it possible for nurses to check the residual quantity and changing time of Ringer's solution in nurses' room. Load Cell is utilized as a sensor to check the residual quantity of Ringer's solution. This Load Cell detects the physical changes of Ringer's solution and transfers electronic signal to the amplifier. Amplified analog signal is converted into digital signal by A/D converter. Developed Embedded system, which computes these data with microprocess(8052) then makes it possible to monitor the residual quantity of Ringer's solution real-time on a server computer.   • In this paper, we analysis the effect of error of code tracking and frequency tracking according to the chip delay of spoofing signal through the simulation. Firstly, we investigate the type of spoofing signal and defense technical of spoofing attack. For simulation, we generated the intermediate spoofing signal using the software GNSS signal generator simulator(SGGS), the intermediate spoofers synchronize its counterfeit GPS signals with the current broadcast GPS signals. The software GPS receiver simulator(SGRS) received the spoofing signal and normal signal from SGGS, and process the signals. In paper, we can check that the DLL and PLL tracking loop error are generated and pseudo-range is changed non-linear according to chip delay of spoofing signal when the spoofing signal is entered. As a result, we can check that navigation solution is incorrectly effected by spoofing signal.
