  • In this paper, ultrasonic range finding module for the self-contained robot, INHAE-1, is presented. This system is processed, using Z-80 microprocessor, a much of information on the surrounding condition in real time and is realted a sensor for many side data acqusition with a stepping motor. Also this system can obtain the more correct edge of the obstacle using the standard deviation of the least-square method. In this experiment, it gives more correct information to mobile robot of the blind guidance and improves the orientation of the robot path.

  • LCD (liquid crystal display) industry is needed to goods of high reliability and is interested in products without harmful material. In this experiment, we made the LED backlight unit for Automotive-navigation. And for making this backlight unit we used to eight side emitting type white LEDs with 1W high power of the lumileds company. We could know that this backlight unit releases to 6500 nit in 14W power consumption and start up voltage time is under the15ms in the ambient temperature $-20^{\circ}C$.

This is also a predicting thesis for a smooth goods transport in case of setting up a goods transport system between south and North Korea predicting transport demand for the connection of a railway and road studying fundamental facilities and transport related laws.

  • To find more efficient exhaust effect, air curtain of upward or downward trend in gas table and left or right side of range hood were made. As result that film vapor from range hood lower part by digital camera, the air current change by moving existence and nonexistence of exhaust fan and direction of air curtain were known. Under all experiment condition, upward air curtain superior exhaust performance.

  • Objective: Case report of improvement in muscle pain, insomnia, and depression in a breast cancer patient using Ortho-Cellular Nutrition Therapy. Methods: A Korean woman in her 50s was diagnosed with breast cancer. After being diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer, her quality of life has greatly deteriorated due to the side effects of the drugs administered. Results: Symptoms of insomnia and muscle pain improved after nutritional therapy. Conclusion: Applying nutritional therapy to patients with the aforementioned condition can help alleviate symptoms.

ATOMIZATION PROCESS OF DIESEL FUEL SPRAY IN THE INITIAL STAGE OF INJECTION

  • An experimental investigation has been carried out to reveal the atomization process of the diesel fuel spray. The spray injected through a single hole nozzle was taken by a camera on the opposite side of a stroboscope for macroscopic observation or a nanolite for microscopic observation. The effect of nozzle aspect ratio was analyzed with disintegration phenomena of the diesel spray. Based on the enlarged spray photograph, atomization process was observed in detail and further the spray cone angle was measured under various ambient pressures. The result shows that atomization of diesel spray in early stage of injection is mainly progressed in the vicinity of spray periphery region except the region close to the nozzle exit and spray head region. The spray cone angle is nearly constant under the pressurized condition, while it decreases with elapsing time under the atmospheric condition.

  • The rear side contact recombination in the crystalline silicon solar cell could be reduced by back surface field. We formed polycrystalline silicon as a back surface field through crystallization of amorphous silicon. A thin silicon oxide applied to the passivation layer. We used quasi-steady-state photoconductance measurement to analyze electrical properties with various annealing condition. And, blister formed on surface of wafer during the annealing process. We observed the blister after varied annealing process with wafer of various surface. Shape and density of blister is influenced by various annealing temperature and process time. As the annealing temperature became higher, the average diameter of blister is decreased and total number of blister is increased. The sample with the $600^{\circ}C$ annealing temperature and 1 min annealing time exhibited the highest implied open circuit voltage and lifetime. We predicted that the various shape and density of blister affects the lifetime and implied open circuit voltage.

Input Current Characteristics of a Three-Phase Diode Rectifier with Capacitive Filter Under Line Voltage Unbalance Condition

  • The three-phase diode rectifier with a capacitive filter is highly sensitive to line voltage unbalance, and may cause significantly unbalanced line currents even under slightly unbalanced voltage condition. This paper presents an analysis of this 'unbalance amplification' effect for an ideal rectifier circuit without ac-and dc-side inductors. The voltage unbalance is modeled by introducing a deviation voltage superimposed on balanced three-phase line voltages. With proper approximations, closed-form expressions for symmetrical components of the line current and current unbalance factor are derived in terms of the voltage unbalance factor, filter reactance, and load current. The validity of analytical predictions is confirmed by simulation.
