In recent navigation system, the profitable solution is to integrate the GPS and Stapdwon INS (SDINS) system and its integration allows compensation for shortcomings of each system. This paper describes the hardware preparation and presents the test results obtained from the automobile test of the developed system. The automobile tests was conducted with two kinds of inertial sensors and GPS receivers : short range and middle range test, to verify and evaluate the performance of the integrated navigation system. The reference of position is given by the Differential GPS(DGPS) which has cm-level accuracy to compare the accuracy of system. Kalman filtering is used for integrating GPS and SDINS and this filter effectively allows the long-term stability of GPS to correct and decrease the time deviation error of SDINS.

ISO 140-1 recommends installing diffusing elements in the room if there are large variations of the sound pressure level caused by strong standing wave. Also it requires that reverberation time should not be long or short. In accordance to this regulation, we adjusted the reverberation time in the range of $1{\sim}2$ sec by using 4 types of diffusing elements. This paper demonstrates how to balance the reverberation time in the range of $1{\sim}2$ sec by using several types of diffusing elements.

Adaptive cruise control Stop&Go system has been developed to reduce the driver's workload on highway or public road. This system is characterized by a moderate control of engine and brake actuator. A control system capable of modeling driver's driving characteristics has been constructed to provide natural vehicle behavior in full speed driving. But, ACC Stop&Go system has some limitations. One of the limitations is a detection limitation on near cut-in situation. This paper presents development of the near cut-in test procedure, finding of the limitation value on near cut-in scenario and performance comparisons on ACC Stop&Go system.

The library as nonprofit organization is required to have micro-planning for the organization itself and macro-planning for the relationship of the organization and its environment. Both the micro and macro planning are rational and effective means to library objectives. The library planning must be based on clearly formulated objectives that will encourage all parts of the organization to work toward the same goal and mission. The planning to library objectives should make programming. which should make processing. The mission here should precede goal. which should precede objectives and objectives should precede activities in planning. There is an integral relationship among them. Just as the objectives of the library may be thought of in a hierarchy such as the above. so the library planning must be based on such a hierarchy from strategic or long range planning to administrative planning, from administrative planning to operational planning or short range ones.

A new device structure has been developed for p-i-n switches. In this structure, the phosphorus-diffused n$^{+}$ layter adjacent to the boron-doped anode is used to short the p$^{+}$ anode-channel(i-region). This change in the anode electrode structure results in a significant improvement in the threshold voltage-to-holding voltage($V_{Th}/V_{h}$) ratio, which is due to the suppression of the hold injection from the anode by the n$^{+}$ layer. The shorted anode p-i-n devices of a 100 .mu.m channel length show an extremely high threshold voltage in the 250~300 V range and a low holding voltage in the 5~9 V range. These features of the device are expected to acdelerate their practical application to power switching circuits.

According to our fatigue tests carried out at 20 Hz, R=0.1 on transversely butt~welded joints, fatigue strengths of as-welded specimens, that is, specimens having residual stress are higher than those of annealed specimens in short life range, but vice verse in long life range. This behavior seems to be concerned mainly with residual stress relaxation by applied loading. After analyzing the welding process, we conducted finite element analysis to quantify the degree of residual stress relaxation. By taking into account residual stress relaxation, modified Goodman diagram, and nominal stress, we evaluated the fatigue life of the welded joint from the S-N curve for the parent material. The estimated results are in a good agreement with the experimental results.

Ultra Wide Bandwidth (UWB) spread-spectrum techniques will playa key role in short range wireless connectivity supporting high bit rates availability and low power consumption. UWB can be used in the design of wireless local and personal area networks providing advanced integrated multimedia services to nomadic users within hot-spot areas. Thus the assessment of the possible interference caused by UWB devices on already existing narrowband and wideband systems is fundamental to ensure nonconflicting coexistence and, therefore, to guarantee acceptance of UWB technology worldwide. In this paper, we study the coexistence issues between an indoor UWB-based system (hot-spot) and outdoor point to point (PP) links and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) systems operating in the 3.5 - 5.0 GHz frequency range. We consider a realistic UWB master/slave system architecture and we show through computer simulation, that in all practical cases UWB system can coexist with PP and FWA without causing any dangerous interference.

This paper contains the computational simulation of a free rocket with a parachute and the development of a firing table for each range. To obtain the trajectory of the rocket, 6 DOF model of rocket with parachute was generated and the wind tunnel test was done for the input parameters. Good agreement was obtained between the analysis of trajectory and the flight test result. Also the trajectory error analysis was performed by the Monte Carlo simulation. As a result of simulation, the CEP(Circular Error Probability) of the firing table was calculated.

The short green period of zoysiagrass has been a problem in using for turf. This study was performed to check growth response of several wintergrasses under sunny and shady area in Korea. Wintergrasses of 5 species, 27 cultivars introduced from U.S.D.A., were used in this study. After establishment, two fluctuations of top growth were observed which varied according to the species; first, due to drought in May, second, due to high temperature and humidity from July to August. Red fescues and perennial ryegrasses showed severe growth retardation in sunny area during summer period. Kentucky bluegrasses and tall fescues maintained good Qualities nearly all the year round arid showed slight disease infections. Kentucky bluegrass 'Kenblue' and red fescue 'Agram' grown under shady area showed higher photosynthetic ability than under sunny area, except the temperature range from 30˚C to 40 ˚C under 40,000 lux light in red fescue 'Agram'. And the phorosynthesis was decreased at the temperature range from 35 ˚C to 40 ˚C. Key words: Wintergrass, Top growth, Visual rating, Photosynthesis, Poa pratensis. Objectives: This study reported the progress of herbal medicine administration for hypertriglyceridemia. Methods: Patients diagnosed with hypertriglyceridemia were treated with Taiyintiaowei decoction three times a day. After the triglyceride level dropped, we prescribed Wujisan decoction three times a day to maintain the normal range of triglycerides. Results: The patients' blood triglyceride level decreased from 432 mg/dL to 113 mg/dL. The triglyceride level remained steady in the normal range. Adverse events were not observed. Conclusions: Herbal medicines may be effective in controlling hypertriglyceridemia. Further studies on related topics are needed.
