Shopping malls in Korea have grown in size and number, and their one-stop convenience has expanded to include various retail stores, service outlets, and entertainment providers. This study closely examines the shoppers' experience in a shopping mall. Using the photo elicitation interview (PEI) method, this study aims to provide deeper understanding of the subjective perceptions and context of shopping mall users. Ten shopping mall users participated in this study. They visited a shopping mall and took photos from their points of view about the shopping experience, and later participated in a personal interview. Convenience, excitement, relaxation, and socialization are the major themes of a pleasant shopping mall experience. Crowdedness and ineffective store design are the major themes of an unpleasant shopping mall experience. Core contents of each pleasant and unpleasant theme are presented. Given the current retail environment where shopping malls are continuously expanding, understanding the behavior and perception of consumers related to shopping malls is important in designing and providing a compelling experience in shopping malls.

The results of the study showed that consumer confusion and shopping fatigue in internet shopping environment affected negative purchasing behaviors. First, consumer confusion comprised overload confusion, similarity confusion, and ambiguity confusion. It was found that overload confusion and similarity confusion significantly affected shopping fatigue. Second, shopping fatigue significantly affected negative purchasing behaviors, and an increased level of shopping fatigue result in, increased purchase delay and non-purchase behavior. Third, consumer confusion (overload confusion, similarity confusion, ambiguity confusion) significantly affected purchase delay behavior, while similarity confusion and ambiguity confusion significantly affected non-purchasing behavior. This study focuses on customer loyalty that explains how firms can maintain long-term relationship with customers, in the internet shopping and mobile shopping contexts. Specifically, this study examines the key determinants of customer loyalty from two perspectives: service quality and shopping value. Concerning service quality, previous studies have long argued that it is a starting point of building customer loyalty. Shopping value is a key variable in capturing consumers' shopping motives. In this study, we consider two types of shopping value: usefulness as utilitarian value and enjoyment as hedonic value. Moreover, this study examines whether the effects of service quality and shopping value on customer loyalty differ depending on internet and mobile shopping groups. To test the proposed hypotheses, we conducted multiple linear regression analysis and chow test with a total of 199 data collected on users who have experience in internet shopping and mobile shopping. The key findings are as follows: First, in the internet shopping group, customer loyalty depends on service quality (responsiveness and empathy) and usefulness, whereas in the mobile shopping, it only depends on enjoyment. Second, the impacts of service quality and shopping value on customer loyalty are different depending on internet shopping and mobile shopping. The results imply that e-tailors should develop differential methods suitable for internet shopping or mobile shopping to enhance customer loyalty.
We are going to make clear three things through the examination of the subject of this study. The second Is to find out the effect of perceived usefulness and ease of use of using internet shopping mall on shopping mall's loyalty through variable intermediation of trust and satisfaction. The third is to emphasize the importance of perceived usefulness and ease of use of using a shopping mall web sites and carrying out a through analyzing path that usefulness and ease of use are intermediated by trust and satisfaction to loyalty. We made a poll to people who had ever used internet shopping mall and got Information. The results are below. The easer internet shopping mail users feel when using shopping mall sites, the more they feel them useful. Perceived usefulness and ease of use of usage have positive effects on trust and satisfaction which are major preceding factors of Internet shopping mall loyalty. The perceived ease of use, trust, and satisfaction intermediate between the perceived ease of use and shopping mall's loyally while users are accepting internet shopping mali. And trust and satisfaction intermediate between the perceived usefulness and shopping mall's loyalty. These results show that the degree of usefulness and feeling easiness in using shopping mall of users should be considered seriously. The only easiness of shopping mall doesn't create shopping mail's loyalty, but, It's created when users acknowledge the usefulness, trust, and satisfy.

The Internet of Things (IoT) shopping environment can provide benefits and risks to consumers, including shopping convenience and invasion of consumer rights, respectively. We experimentally tested whether exposure to information regarding the benefits and risks of IoT shopping would elicit changes to consumer perceptions of the importance of shopping convenience and rights to information, as well as shopping intention among young online shopping consumers. The participants (N=218) were randomly assigned into one of two experimental conditions. The control group was exposed to a news article and a video emphasizing the shopping convenience of the Amazon Dash Button service, while the experimental group was exposed to the same news article and video provided to the control group, along with a news article about the judgment of the Munich court that the Dash Button violates German consumer law. We found an interaction effect of experimental condition and time on changes to the perceived importance of shopping convenience and shopping intention. The changes to the perceived relative importance of shopping convenience to consumer rights to information from pre- to post-manipulation differed significantly between the two experimental groups. The results of this study emphasize the importance of providing information on both the benefits and risks of IoT shopping. This was the first experimental study to examine the possibility of the invasion of consumer rights to information in the IoT shopping environment. This study urges researchers, marketers, and policy makers to focus more on consumer rights to information in the newly coming IoT shopping environment.

The third purpose was to examine the effects of shopping value on perception and management behaviors on credit cards. The data were collected from 392 college students in Seoul by a self-administered questionnaire. Analyses including frequency, mean, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, Pearson's correlation analysis, Crosstabulation analysis, analysis of variance, K-means Cluster analysis and Multiple linear regression were conducted using SPSS WIN12.0. The major findings were as follows. First, college students can be categorized into 3 types of shopping values by K-means Cluster analysis of 14 items. The groups were entitled the hedonistic shopping value, the utilitarian shopping value, and the saving shopping value. Second, positive perception and management behaviors related to credit cards were different depending on the types of shopping value. The hedonistic shopping value group had a higher level of positive perception of credit cards and a lower level of credit card management, compared with the other groups. The saving shopping value group had higher levels of both positive perception and management of credit cards. Among the three groups, the utilitarian shopping group had the lowest level of positive perception of credit cards, despite having ahigher level of credit card management. Lastly, the most effective variance on credit card management was the utilitarian shopping value. These results suggest that a healthy shopping value is very important for having a healthy perception and management of credit cards, because shopping value is a critical variance to affect perception and management of credit cards.

Most of the early researches of the Internet fashion shopping mall were focused on technical parts so they studied the environmental and physical characteristics of the Internet fashion shopping mall, but recently, the Internet fashion shopping mall is activated and accordingly, the interest in Internet shopping users is going up. Under this circumstance, the research to understand the characteristics of Internet shopping consumers becomes necessary. Therefore, the research was conducted by a survey, focusing on college students who use Internet a lot. The survey covered the experience and the type of using the Internet fashion shopping mall, the extent of satisfaction, strengths, and weaknesses of the Internet fashion shopping mall, the use of a cyber fitting system, and the possibility of the development of the Internet fashion shopping mall having a cyber fitting system. As a result of the study, it was found that: most of the students used the Internet fashion shopping mall; they used a fashion-specialized mall most; they pointed out economy of time as the biggest strength of using the Internet fashion shopping mall; they thought the biggest weakness of the Internet fashion shopping mall is that they can not try on clothes so they can not check whether clothes go well with them or not; and regarding the intention to use a cyber fitting system if available and the possibility of the development of the Internet fashion shopping mall, they replied that they would use it and the malls with the system would be developed. Based on the results, this study proposes a cyber fitting system as an improvement of the Internet fashion shopping mall.
