선박 전선 관리 시스템 개발 (Development of Cable Management System for Ship)

  • 현재 건조되고 있는 선박들은 선형이 고급화됨에 따라 시스템이 복잡해지고 소요되는 케이블양도 많아지고 있는 추세이다. 선박 전선 관리 시스템에서 가장 큰 비중을 차지하는 케이블 포설에 대한 케이블 최단 경로를 구하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 Dijkstra 알고리즘을 사용하였다. 본 논문에서 개발된 선박 전선 관리 시스템은 조선관련 선박 건조 시 비용 절감 및 업무 능률 향상을 통하여 회사의 경영 목표를 달성 할 수 있도록 지원해 줄 수 있는 시스템으로 사료된다.

740톤급 종합해양연구선 이어도호 대체선 선형 및 설계 특성 (Hull Form and Layouts of 740-ton Replacement Vessel for R/V Eardo of KIOST: Ship Design and SMRs)

  • R/V EARDO, commissioned in 1992, has successfully carried out ocean research campaigns in Korean jurisdictional and adjacent waters, including continental margins and coastal zones within the Korean Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), for 29 years. However, it will soon be reaching the end of its useful service life. A replacement for R/V EARDO is urgently needed to ensure the safety of vessel itself and its crews, and efficient ship operation and maintenance, as well as to meet modern scientific mission requirements (SMRs). Basic specifications for a replacement ship have been devised and reviewed over the past nine months. A test of the proposed hull form was also performed. The total tonnage of the proposed vessel is approximately 740 tons, and the overall length and width are 62.0 and 11.6 m, respectively. The new ship will thus be 73% larger than the current R/V EARDO; in particular, the research workspace will be 4.4 times larger. The major design priorities are the propulsion system, efficiency of radiated noise and vibration control, and the dynamic positioning system. An environmentally friendly emission system, meeting International Maritime Organization (IMO) Tier III regulations, will be installed in the third exhaust pipe. Various wet and dry lab spaces as well as 32 different scientific instruments have also been considered in the ship design.

  • Development of safety monitoring system for workers in the ship building industry is currently under progress using RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) for successful development of the U-BUSS(Ubiquitous- Safety User Safety System). For decades, RFID technology has become a key technology to provide the real-time location system of worker and is variously used for safety monitoring system to increase productivity, improve the blasting quality and enhance the safety of working condition in the ship building industry In this paper, 2.45GHz band RTLS(Real Time Location System) technologies and the ubiquitous safety monitoring system of the ship yard's blasting cell are described.

선박수출거래에서 환급보증(Refund Guarantee) 주요 조항의 법적·실무적 고찰 (A Legal and Practical Study on the Main Clauses of a Refund Guarantee in a Shipbuilding Contract)

  • The Buyer shall demand to the Builder the repayment of the pre-delivery instalments paid in case of the Builder's default under a ship-building contract. The Buyer require a refund guarantee issued by a financial institution for a security for the repayment of the pre-delivery instalments paid. As the title of a refund guarantee, in practice, is various, we should look into the contents or the expressions in a guarantee to decide whether a guarantee is a refund guarantee. A refund guarantee, a sort of independent bank guarantee, has characteristic of abstractness, and is independent from the ship-building contract. A refund guarantee is available against the beneficiary's first written demand and signed statement certifying that the Builder failed to make the refund in accordance with the ship-building contract. The guaranteed amount of a refund guarantee will be automatically increased in accordance with the Builder's receipt of the respective instalment, which is not in the other advance payment guarantee. These characteristics of a refund guarantee are derived from the expressions in a refund guarantee rather than inherent therein. This illustrates that careful attention is required to the contents and expressions of the main clauses in a refund guarantee.

  • Naval ships are complex weapon systems which play the integrated performance by system integration of many kinds of weapon systems and their leading ships are usually not disposed after test and evaluation but militarised. Then, strict project management is required for naval ship building projects by identifying problems early and by taking prefer measures in time against unexpected situations encountered in the process of the projects. EVMS is a project management system which can manage the schedule and the budget of a project concurrently and estimate the project's time duration and the cost at project completion. In this paper, the applicability and usefulness of WMS is studied for a assumed navai ship building project, in the environment of monetary fluctuations such as price index, wage increase rate and exchange rate.

타의 종류에 따른 컨테이너선의 조종성능 특성 연구 (Experimental Study on the Variation of Maneuvering Characteristics of Container Ship with Rudder Type)

  • Generally Horn-type rudders have been used for single propeller and single rudder system. The reason is that the rudder torques of Horn-type rudder are smaller than those of Spade rudder with same lift force. But it is found that the rudder cavitation occurs on a Horn-type rudder of fast container ship. In this paper the comparison results of Horn-type and Spade rudders are described. HPMM tests are carried out to compare the effects of two rudder types on the maneuverability of a ship. It is shown that the maneuvering performance of a ship equipped with Horn-type rudder is better than that equipped with Spade rudder by comparing the test results and maneuvering coefficients at scantling condition. The reason is that the movable part area of Horn-type rudder is about 14% larger than that of Spade rudder with same total area. And the rudder torque of Spade rudder is greater than that of Horn rudder. At ballast condition, however, the effect of rudder type is negligible.

  • In recent booming up of the ship building market, the supplying of large scale casting is difficult to keep the delivery schedule for ship yard because of the restrict manufacturer in Korea. And also, it is main cause to rise-up the cost of castings. This paper describes the outline of guidance of optimizing design for Rudder Horn Casting to reduce the risk of the delivery problem to ship yard.

일 조선업 협력업체 근로자의 직무 스트레스, 피로 및 우울과의 관계 (Relationships of Job Stress, Fatigue & Depression among one Ship-building Supply Workers)

  • 본 연구는 조선업 협력업체 근로자의 직무 스트레스, 피로 및 우울과의 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 대상자는 K시에 위치한 1개 중소규모 조선소 협력업체 근로자 175명 이었고, 자료수집 기간은 2013년 2월 1일부터 2월 28일까지 이었다. 자료분석은 평균 및 표준편차와 Pearson's correlation coefficients을 사용하였다. 직무 스트레스의 하부요인 중에서 직무요구와 직무불안정 요인은 피로와 각각 유의한 양의 상관관계가, 조직체계 요인은 피로와 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있었다(r=0.15, p<.05;r=0.17, p<.05;r=-0.19, p<.05). 또한 조직문화 요인은 우울과 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다(r=0.15, p<.05). 결론적으로, 조직관리자는 근로자의 심리 사회적 작업환경 개선을 위한 전략을 개발할 필요가 있다.
